I just love your style of cooking. Simple, homey, and warm. I just want to say that you let the spices and ingredients do their job. And that to me is the real healthy comforting food. I’ll make this sweet and sour ribs very soon. Praise the Lord for what you contribute to Good Health!❤️🙏🙏❤️
Hello from Washington State 🥰 I cooked this for my husband and I and we loved it. I shared your video with my kids. We will be making this many more times in the future.👍👍👍
Made this tonight and it was absolutely delicious. I thought I'd miss the deep fried pork but not at all. I used a pork shoulder that I cut up in bite sized pieces and it still turned out wonderfully. Even my hubby loved it and it isn't generally his type of dish.
Hello I'm back I was in Singapore Thailand and Japan for a while and now I'm back I'm looking forward to let's eat some good homemade cooking food so I'm looking forward to making these ribs and I love summer I love all your recipes so😅😂😂😂
Flo, I love your channel and the way you cook things in a wholesome way. I have one question for you. I would like to get a wok, but I have an electric stove. I would like to get a little burner like the one you use. Can you tell me the brand and/or where to purchase it? The ones I have found all come with warnings not to use them indoors.
I'll have to give this a try with either pork roast cut into cubes or longer rib sections as I don't own a bone saw to cut them smaller. Hubby likes sweet and sour ribs but not the vegetables so they are allllll mine, haha! The Chinese restaurant my parents always treated us to during childhood made their ribs in a very dark brown sauce so I don't gravitate to those atomic red sauces at all. Flo, I was gifted a butane burner for Christmas but still need a wok. Would you consider creating or curating an equipment video to cover the use and care of those burners as well as your best tips on selecting and maintaining a wok? Thank you for considering it and thank you for always helping us feed our families healthy, affordable food.
Nothing special for the burner. I just take out the butane canister, give it a quick wipe once it cools down and put it back in the box. In terms of the wok… I am still trying to find one to recommend. They sure don’t make them like they used to!
Just a note. You forgot to mention you put the garlic in with the bell peppers. I was wondering what happened to it. Making it right now with chicken thighs in bite size pieces in airfryer instead. Thanks for a yummy recipe!
I was looking for a good sweet and sour recipe, although I will have to make it red ( I already have the colouring powder) . I will eat it not too often though with that sugar xD
AWESOME!!! I wonder if you could cut Boston Butt into cubes and use that, instead of ribs. My Bride and I will definitely be trying this, with the ribs, first.
Hi, Flo!! Thanks so very much for making sweet and sour that DOESN'T include deep fried battered protein!! AND for leaving out the red food coloring! SO perfect! YUM! =]
Hi Flo, a question please I have been hearing lately that it is healthier to use glass pots and pans have you heard or know if true. Thank you for your time.
You could pan fry and then simmer the ribs in the sauce for about 30 mins before adding onion, pepper & pineapple (otherwise produce will be mushy) and corn starch slurry.
