Check out PATREON to support the channel: / cheeseyoni (ft. r/Tekken) so i made a post in the tekken subreddit, and i let you guys decide which moves you think will deal ZERO damage in real life. MUSIC: Tekken 6 OST - Staff Roll A
@@tsyrendambaev9675 have you done martial arts? You don't simply block with the shin, you use the upper part close to the knee where it's hardest and you have to train the shin to numb it.
I train muay thai, i can say that for someone who didn't harden his shins, even getting punched in this area is painful, so for example moves like Laws banana peel, or dragunovs D2(knuckle punch, not karate chop like he is doing it) would hurt
@@night1952 I trained muay thai, and every low kick I got in my shin didn't hurt that bad, and now compare those low kicks to the moves shown in that video. What about you? Have you done any martial arts?
They're not even proper kicks. Since they didn't even properly rotate their bodies to deliver power into their pitiful "leg kicks" if you even count those as kicks, since they're more like slaps using their feet
Just because King's kick is slow doesn't mean it wont pack a punch, just look at the size of that boot and how heavy that kick looks. For comparison you can also throw a fast weak kick.
Its technique and physics. King's 3 kick would do significant damage due to his mass, him utilizing that mass by _stepping forward_ and driving it in, focusing that mass onto a small surface area which is his foot, and finally landing that kick onto a vulnerable target which is the head. Have that redditor who said his attack would do no damage by having a smaller guy performing the same attack and watch his neck snap backwards.
Letting people who never did martial arts that kick isn't slow. Not lighting fast but damn near enough to knock someone *heads off* considering the log he has a leg. For real how can anyone think that shit translated into real life is slow ? Bro look at your screen. Count the seconds between startup and contact damn. Btw check his stance when landing the kick. I'm not joking, with a form that clean he can kill someone unfortunate enough to suffer internal bleeding from the shock.
You know, considering it's a high kick it might be considered absurdly fast, but I'd ask around before shouting it out loud. * Also this com aimed at everyone, not specifically at the people here giving the kick some of it due respect.
People who thinks chest bump doesnt do damage never do chest bump irl. Especially with people who outweighs them. Like okay the chest bump itself wont make your chest hurt as if someone landing a blow on your chest but it can generate enough momentum to knock someone off their feet
The chest bump it self doesn't hurt, which is what we're measuring here So anything that happens after the chest bump like losing balance then falling on your ass doesn't count
In fairness you need friends to learn that chest bumps are no joke and most of these redditors clearly never went for a jog only to have physical force applied to their shins.
@@stevekerbal9638 yes a roundhouse kick will do massive damage with King's heavy ass boots Especially when it is at joints or your goddamm fucking face
A number of attacks in this video especially the shin kicks would do damage. Also remember that martial artists in the tekken universe are pretty much almost super human in terms of strength. Remember when bruce urvin elbowed a car
There was a video on kick boxing vs muay thai to prove that which is better. Muay Thai insisted stuff like leg strike, clinching and elbow. He was only allowed leg strike. When he went into the match, he just kick his leg only until he can't stand up and kick boxer guy surrendered. He doesn't know how to defend against such strikes. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-EgYlQg0SFGM.html
AK uses pro-wrestler move "poison mist" when u spew a colored water in a face. But imagine that he chew some chili pepper and then spew that mass in your eyes.
@@LOOMING_WRAITH_OF_BAD_OMEN It's named that because his initial stance before doing the poison breath is him clutching his midsection, feigning a stomachache
Nah. Rolling Death Cradle would definitely damage you a lot IRL. Look at the hulking man that is King and tell me that you would tank him rolling you around like that. You must be insane to think you wouldn't be crushed. That would hurt like hell.
Even if your joints aren't being pressed into concrete, that move is going to tire you out as you fight to avoid getting those joints wrecked. Wrestling/grappling is incredibly exhausting.
Asuka's 1+2 is literally a thrust straight to the solar plexus and its not hard to imagine that, as a martial arts master, she knows how to generate maximum force with minimal movement. Some of these people seem to have never taken a hit to sensitive areas like shins or solar plexus. Hurts like hell
For those who don’t know how to fight: A lot of these wouldn’t only pack some damage but it would catch a lot of you off guard. Slapping a leg up or away (especially if a kick is coming your way) diverges the force away from you and forces the opponent to not be able to control themselves, as they will be heading the direction of the said attack. This will all give you a lot of opportunities to counter and deal some of these attacks. I also see people talking about King… just FYI that isn’t a slow kick. Far from it. It’s recognizable of course. But it is far from slow. The power that’ll come from that leg is enough to probably snap any tendon connecting the neck to your brain with very little difficulty. Trust me I’ve fought enough to know that a lot of these attacks are very crucial in a fight. Chest bumps… are very rarely used unless a person (significantly a person overweight/big) uses them and yes they deliver force that isn’t easy to stand back up from. Because the ground also packs a lot. 😂 so all of the people who don’t think that any of these wouldn’t be useful: Leave that to the professionals and teachers of martial arts to decide.
I’m 31 seconds in and I’m appalled at the ignorance of these comments. Even Lucky Chloe here at 0:30, HAVE YOU NEVER BEEN KICKED IN THE SHIN WITH THE EDGE OF A SHOE??? Not to mention with her form she could absolutely wreck your knee without really any risk to herself. Smh
A number of attacks in this video especially the shin kicks would do damage. Also remember that martial artists in the tekken universe are pretty much almost super human in terms of strength. Remember when bruce urvin elbowed a car
Bruh Chloe started from a jump and kicked to the shin straight on while descending. I don't care if Jin is a black belt in Kyokushin. His shin would've *snapped* if he didn't defend by moving along with Chloe's foot to dissipate the force. Those redditors have never been in a fight, I swear.
@@linneausmsiska1184 Well yes and no because the main objective was to showcase how dumb redditors are. It's the fan comments he posted that think these moves are not something will hurt you
That was towards his feet, not the shin. And Chloe may weigh half of Jin so it wouldn't have done much damage but if it was performed in real life then it would depend on who's giving the hit and who's taking it. You also seem to be getting something wrong here, shins cannot snap but they can be torn, or fractured.
0:30 that's just an oblique kick. any higher and you could turn someone's leg into a fucked up parabola. 1:22 It's really not slow at all, it's telegraphed like it's gonna be a front kick or a teep but it looks like it hits like a stepping roundhouse. Not to mention, most people wouldn't expect a guy as large as king to throw a head kick like that. Now imagine the amount of force he could generate with all that mass. also like AK's stinky poison mist/stink breath, first imagine getting chemicals spat into your eyes and also i once smelled my friend's dad from across the house when he came home from work once and the closer he was the closer i got to actually throwing up, it made me slightly understand how chemical warfare works. Smells can hurt too, redditors don't know what they're talking about.
Most of these would hurt lmao except the pizza throw, if you don’t think getting slung around in a cradle doesn’t hurt you’ve clearly never wrestled. And mma fights have been won by leg kicks, getting your leg, knee and shin smacked all do more damage than it looks. Clearly homie has never fought irl
Trust me, you don't want to the body weight of a bear against you. With all that fat, if they're not breaking something, they're smothering you. Just imagine the amount of strength needed to move aside a real life bear that is sleeping on you. It's no teddy. But a rear hit is even worse.
I feel like the Sumo guy rolling into you would probably cause you to trip if you don't move your feet in time IRL. Impractical sure, but I don't think it'd just not hurt
It's because it doesn't look like she's doing that, but she also can't do that because the animations are made by real people moving and those guys forgot that. lol
yea she doesn't properly execute the armbar so no real damage is done besides a real painful stretch. with a more proper form shed easily broken his arm thO
I actually appreciate CheeseYoni for making this video because some of them do seem like they would not hurt, but I kind of agree with some comments here since they do look harmful to some extent. Maybe it's just my experience but because I was a dumb kid, I would try some of these moves on people. In high school, I got in trouble because I did Zafina's Lapis Dagger (uf+1) on some jerk. I should NOT have done that.
Armour King's "Stank Breath" is actually something called Green Mist, and is a heel move typical in Japanese pro-wrestling. It's not a bad breath, but rather a green liquid spat in your face, and more specifically your eyes. Of course pro-wrestling is a show more than a fight, so it's likely safe to use in an actual match, but in a less regulated situation, with the right chemical, you could do some nasty stuff to your opponent's eyes.
0:42 is not just a silly butt attack, it's called a Tetsuzanko, used in the martial art Bajiquan. One of the most overused moves in Anime and Fighting games. Not sure how strong or effective that move can actually be IRL, but no damage? I don't think so 🤔
Ive seen it done before. I wouldnt say it would knock anyone out as its just a body check really but the person i saw using it said they typically use it to create openings not to really do damage
@@WhoreANG True. I still want to believe that it's her interpretation of a Tetsuzanko. Like she's using her most prominent features, her "assets" (pun intended) if you will, to her advantage, and strikes with whatever sticks out the most 😅
Unless you sprint full speed and tackle someone with your butt then no in simply not have enough momentum unless you willing to throw your weight and lose balance just to pull it off wich in this case she didn't
It would probably dislocate my neck and splay my internal organs. He’s easily FAR more than twice my weight (nearly breaking 3x my weight), and he’s got massive legs (nearly a FULL METER long. Or 3’3”. Approximation based on him being 200cm or about 6’6”) He’s kicking my remains into next week. Especially since I don’t break 160cm (5’3”)
I'm not so sure about King, it's +120 kg rolling over you agressively, often on rough, uneven ground. Maybe won't inuure that much, but will leave some damage
"Maybe it won't injure that much" Bro, you can kiss your joints goodbye, also I have looked at RDC in slow motion, and King slams your had into the floor a couple of times doing it. King is cold AF 🤣
Rolling Death Cradle aren’t doing any damage, but it will make you out of breathe when you are being locked in it. I’m serious when submission game is more tiring than striking.
I don't play Tekken but the one at 0:30 is an Oblique Kick, it can literally destroy your knee in an instant. Pretty sure that kick at 1:24 would do damage to any human being. They do that a lot in Muay-Thai fights.
I once did laws Gainer in real life and by accident it got my opponent right under the chin.I was a bit tipsy but managed to land perfectly. I doubt I'll be able to do it again. The crowd was just shocked they began applauding. These moves are dangerous. Take care of yourselves out there.
Asuka's df/2 could like trip your opponents backwards if you hit the shin harder in real life. And Xiaoyu's b/3 can really hurt just as Zhang Ziyi did it in Rush Hour 2 to Chris Tucker
I can justify the thinking of that lows didn't hurt by lack fighting knowledge but King's 3 and RDC? First a huge kick on your face that can break your jaw and second your head between floor and 120+ kg guy, getting squished several that can make you unconscious or die if you have a blood pressure problems.
why King's b1+2 doesn't count? he just literally grabs the opponent and turn them around P.S: the extension string of b1+2 doesn't count, only the b1+2
This Kuni throw, she is basically holding back your wrist forcing you to spin.... Imagine how painful would that actually be if you simply don't spin trying to avoid it...
Every single one of these redditors has never been in a single fight or, hell, physical altercation or exertion in their entire lives. They don't know how much 99% of this shit would destroy you if you let it hit you without preparing. They really think "nah i'd tank that no problem, these moves are so flashy for flashiness' sake" like they think they're invincible or some shit.
I tanked a hit to the side of the shin before, but that’s because the form from that kick was terrible and barely connected. Every one of these being performed by professionals would either kill me, or easily set up to kill me
Nah, when I made that comment - I was talking about the bears farting, not the butt strike move or whatever it's called. Fatal Wind used to be a move in Tekken but I don't think it's in T7. I remember it was in Tekken 3.

Also, I was not at an international level, but I tell a good kick when I see one. ( got complimented about my low kicks a few times also, I'm holding these like trophies and nothing will y'all say can change that) (( I gotta suck since then, gotta take my trainings back ))
Original commenter here, if you look closely Jin never even makes contact with the ground he’s essentially just being spun around & around, nauseating yes, painful no
