Apparently Cecelia, the director of this film had a relationship with a killer and when she visited his caravan multiple times, his previous girlfriend's corpse was lying underneath it. She couldn't identify the smell that much because of her medics, hence why the sleeping girl fades to a corpse because there's a corpse underneath her. Through her other films, it seems Cecilia feels really guilty that she couldn't catch the killer (the difference animal faces being different facades that the killer wore to hide their identity).
Not-so-fun-fact : the director dated a serial killer while he was active, but he left her and ran away when he was close to being caught, so this was kinda her way of reverse the roles in the situation she was in, with the killer becoming taken advantage by his would-be-victims
@@august936 as far as I found, pretty sure it was this guy called Ira Einhorn, he did murder his ex and hide her body in a trunk. I can’t much about his relationship with the director, but this was one of 3 short movies about her dealing with the trauma of dating a killer, and the stories of the woman who was killed lines up. The guy is dead by now btw
some random facts to disturb you human meat has a taste similar to pork, humans were called long pig by a cannibalistic tribe in europe some centuries ago an infamous cannibal sold human flesh as pickled pork back in WW2 and nobody could tell the difference, they snuck it into restuarants when there was a food shortage as well, and still people ate it happily only one cannibal so far has said it tastes like veal. it has an appearance eerily similar to cow meat when cooked cannibalism has existed and been practiced for a long time. there was a treatment with human flesh called mummie a century or two ago, that was made with flesh found in mummies. eventually due to marketing they started using regular old human flesh as well and this was considered a valid medical treatment, recognized into the most accurate medical dictionary of the time in australia some of the deceased used to leave in their will for their family to eat them which lead to the spread of a deadly disease called kuru, which ultimately wiped the tradition out you're welcome
cannibalism isnt only found in humans, shark eat each other in the womb, baby frogs eat smaller frogs in case of unfavourable environmental conditions, caecilian mothers grow a layer of fat just for the babies to eat it, it is the only instance of growing something like that we have found in nature so far. fish eat fish eggs after birthing, lions eat cubs of a female they want to mate with because if she has the cubs then it will be harder to mate with her. dolphins also eat their young in similar conditions nature is fucked up
Oh my god, it's so wierd that this is core memory for me...... I remember when this came out it was labeled as satanic because it "promoted lesbianism" and was "anti-men" because the girls didn't let him r*pe them.
the fuck do They called “Possibly In Michigan” as “Satanic”,”Promoted Lesbianism”(Still True),and “Anti-Men” just because the 2 Women didn’t let a Killer to rape and then kill Them??
it's kinda funny when some stuff gets like called horrible for all the wrong reasons, like i get why people would say to not watch this or to not promote this cause of cannibalism and stuff but cause of "lesbianism"?? I remember a person on yt shorts saying that she couldn't read the diary of anne frank when she was younger because she was talking about boys in it.
I just realized it’s actually the corpses of his six previous victims overlayed on her as foreshadowing to what he plans to do. You’ll also notice when he picks up the brick in her yard there’s a head and teeth buried underneath it so she’s done some murdering herself lol.
Did anyone start burst out laughing when he started giving advice on canibleism "No dude why you eating his toenail at least eat the thigh, mmmmm the thigh"
Yes! im so happy you reacted to this! from what i remember the most common theory (and my person favorite) is that its about sexual abuse, and they do it by mixing metaphorical cannabalism (rape), with actual cannabalism, which is why all the men are wearing animal masks
i’m so happy you reacted to this. can’t wait to see your opinion on it. thank you for all that you do, mooshi. you’re one of the youtubers i watch when i’m in such a deep depressive episode i can barely even move a muscle. you bring me a lot of warmth and comfort. and, as a transman, a lot of gender envy, lol. i hope nothing but the best for you.
Dude y’all are finna make me cry with all these nice messages haha. I really am grateful to have made the community I have on here. You’re so supportive and I thank you for that :,)
@@shooshiMooshi So, I don't know if you'll find this comment, but wanted to share some interesting info I found out about this video: So, apparently, the director was a woman who had been unknowingly dating a serial killer. Possibly in Michigan as well as her other film, Under the Flesh, are sort of an exploration of her feelings when she found out about his crimes, the fear and the 'what-ifs.' A lot of the 2 short films' messages explore violence toward women and her fear of 'what if I had been one of his victims?'
I was a bit confused too when I was a bit more younger. I understood that he was stalking the girls, but don't know if it's just one person or more since the faces of the stalker change.
For some background info, the maker of "Possibly in Michigan" (Cecelia Condit) was dating a murder known as the unicorn killer (Ira Einhorn) who had murdered his ex-girlfriend (Holly Maddux) and then wrapped her in plastic, cut off her head and stuffed her inside his closet. Cecelia never found Holly as she was on medication that dulled her sense of smell. One of her other works "Beneath the Skin" tells this story and it was one of her first works. ("Possibly in Michigan" is her second work :D ) I don't think "Possibly in Michigan" is the same story seeing as she had already made one on it :>
Completely unrelated to the plot itself, but this is kinda what OCD, social anxiety, paranoia, and agoraphobia combined feels like?? The random shots of bizarre and disturbing happenings, suspense, the masks and people following/implications in the random shots. It makes me uncomfortable because this is how I feel everywhere I go but it's oddly comforting. The constant feeling of being watched, followed, feeling like you're the epicenter of persecution, everyone closing in, visions of destruction caused by ONE wrong move, feeling like you influence the fate of those around you and the planet. dread.
I've listened to this song before and still do sometimes, I absolutely love it but I never knew the lore. I also loved the creepiness of this, some of the stuff in here like the pictures n' stuff reminded me of shit like The Walten Files and a little bit of Mandela Catalogue due to their creepy looking pictures and weird voices, but the overall story and concept of Possibly In Michigan makes me happy and I love the way they portrayed this.
i knew this video when i was a 8-9 yr old child, and its still one of my weirdcore videos/songs cause possibly in Michigan is one of my favorite weirdcore artists, you reacting to a personal og to me is great
If i'm not mistaking, the story was inspired by a real stalker experience the creator went through Edit: I was in fact mistaking, lol. thanks to everyone who corrected me
Shooshi..I know this isn't relevant to anything, but you really brighten up my day. You helped me smile when I had bovid-19..I am so happy that you are alive and well..I hope everything is going alright for you, as a minor(/teen ig?) I really love you and your content ngl. Even if I am kinda young I still love your creepy content to the fullest. Love ya man, stay safe ♡
My teory is that the corpse is the girl (sharon ak the main character) I think that when they show sharon like a corpse its how she fell when arthur (the guy with a mask), was near her And when they show the image of sharon with flowers its how she feld with janice (her friend). That's why when she is calling janice ( 7:18 ) she looks with flowers And when arthur is near her (6:36) she is a corpse Other examples: With Janice: 10:06 Janice coming to save her With Arthur: 8:18 Arthur is in her house 9:26 Arthur telling her what he will do with her 9:59 Arthur about to eat her Plss don't hate if u don't think so :(
I feel so bad. I haven't been watching you or supporting you for 3 months because I had some stuff going on. But I'm back and I'm gonna be back and your streams a lot more. Can't wait for some more amazing content. 💖
scary fact back in the days they used to put there dog in there microwave to dry them off but the microwave exploded and the dog and the person was dead.
I'm really happy to see that you have been getting a steady growth of subscribers! I really do hope that you get to 100k, you deserve it and many more milestones.
No one: Shooshi at the very start of the video: Hey everyone! Today's video is going to be a fun one, we are going to be watching a VERY disturbing video today.
Basically what I got is the girl and Arthur or whatever we’re dating and he was a serial killer who ate his girlfriends, he was called animal cannibal because he wore animal masks and basically they killed him and then ate him instead
Omg I forgot about this song I remember being terrified of walking out late at night because I thought the chicks from the video would beat my ass That and I still remember the "oh no no no" and how uneasy it made me
okay.... about the 2:15 mark or so...the part that disturbs me the most is that I recognized it (though i've seen this before)...and i told my sister who showed me that part a few months ago (i didn't know it was part of this)...then she proceeded to say each of the things said in that scene word by word in the same creepy tone...(i'm the one who likes creepy stuff).
I have an idea for a Halloween theme for a vocaloid react. The seven deadly sins. I watched some of them in late middle school/early high-school. Never finished it. But I think you'd like it. Food Eatter is gonna mess you up a little bit.
Maybe the corpse overlay was forshadowing for the girl but her getting up was a way of showing how she got away from that, I'm not sure if I explained what I'm thinking well but if you understand, great 😂👍
Hey shooshi, I want to recommend you vocaloid evillioush chronicle, it was basically a BIG LORE and A NOVEL TOO. There are seven deadly sins series. For first impression, I want to recommend you daughter of evil sung by kagamine Rin.
Dude, I read the title and it reminded me of this kpop music video me and my sister watched on this kpop music tv channel my mom found. Two girls killed and ate the man that cheated with them. It's not too violent, but I'll put the link in replies if any of you wanna check it out...
Holy shit, I had no idea that the “poodle exploded” thing was from here! Interesting! It was pretty weird how it overlayed the one girl, having exact scenes just with a dead body.
Awasome video ! I was nicely suprised when I saw the title cause there is a lot of animations meme about those IA girls talking :))) ~ how lOvely~ Anywho, keep going the good work and have a great day/night 🌙🌤 😊🖖
This is straight trauma on film. I HATE the corpse shots, but I get it. From an artistic stand point and for a shock reaction. This poor woman dated a killer for a year without knowing his exes body was in his closet.
