Can confirm, VR Covers are amazing. I've done VR stuff with friends, and nothing was worse than the communal sweat sponges that are the default pads.

Pffft absolutely kept getting a strange anxiety about VR Tribal slapping the other Tribal in the head/bits with a controller.

I can vouch for the need to use VR Cover pads. I've used mine for over a year, cleans easy, and hasn't worn out. Worth every penny.

Looked like Beat Saber Tribal was continuously punching you in the face and groin.

I have always used the standard foam and washing and squeezing it under running water seems to be enough.

Been a VRCover user since DK2 days. Never looked back since.

To be honest, I used VRCovers for my standard Vive after seeing the recommendations, but after some times the cover started to hurt my nose and face, leaves marks on my face and weird red lines. I switched back to original Vive cover and felt more comfortable, sadly.

arent these known to not soak sweat as well as the original pads? which causes it to soak into the actual headset? Like isnt that what happened with barnacules. I dont get why i would want this

Is the only problem with the Vive cover on the Vive pro the little exposed edge you commented on at the beginning?

is the pro more comfortable than the original ? Head some people complaining it pushes down on their nose. :P And it wiggles from side to side ?

I bought these for my Vive, they were not used a great deal probably once a week, they have split down the seam! Not good....

This 16mm replacement is pretty much useless for both me and my girlfriend. There are sooo much light coming in through the sides when we have this on. From the temple to the cheekbone is completely open. So much so, that we can make out doorways and other silhouetes of things that are behind us as reflection in the lenses. I do not know why this is, as we have no problems using either the default padding for the original vive or the vive pro, with or without the vr-covers cloth/leather addons. But this replacement cover is the worst of them all :-(

6MM or go home! EDIT: id get the 16MM too, as a bundle to save on postage. good for the kids, with smaller heads
