Absolutely love that Grouper. The blade shape is chef's kiss. That being said, Cormorant is one of my favorite kinves of all time. You really can't go wrong with any Kizer.

Yoho about the Mini Grouper clip! Because it sits on top, it's compatible with Kizer's add-on 3D titanium pocket clips! My Feists want them to make a version for the inset clips too but for now it's the sole advantage

Just ordered both the Mini Grouper and the Micarta Dogfish. The Grouper deserves a Large and XL version. Id be on to those in a heartbeat !

The basketweave carbon fibre scales on the mini grouper is very nice, very very nice (but would like the Grouper XL version). Luv that Cobbler as a potential new neck knife for ole' Big B ... and my pick for my favorite of the bunch. I'll wait for the Grouper XL ! Thanks, Beez!

That Dogfish is very Cormoranty And the Cormorant is the easiest knife to change scales on I've ever seen. It's a total of 5 screws to change the scales.

There is a perplexing dilemma with the term "gravity knife". The problem arises because of a legal denotation and science based connotations. The legal criteria will vary across locations, or even not be a problem at all. The human component is less exact, often without factual explanation. To be short; the mini grouper can be deployed using forces generated with the hand and arm from "gravity". However it is not the only method of deployment. I wonder what would happen in space, and who would have jurisdiction?

That Grouper looks like a really good EDC, especially with those textured G10 scales. I have the orgianl DogFish and really not a big fan of the Aluminum handles. This new DogFish is an upgrade with both blade steel and handle materials. I want one of those, but I do wish they had made it just a bit bigger. And the Cormorant is maybe not a classic but its one of Kizer's most recognized models. I don't care much for those new scales. All in all, well done KIZER!

I love the aluminium Dogfish, I just wished it was lighter. And the micarta one is, so I can't wait for it to arrive to me :)

Hope they make a version with better steel, but I have both versions. My favorite knife right now. I have knives 400 plus but this just fits my hand perfectly

Ein paar der Messer sind ja ganz nett anzusehen, doch für die Sammlervitriene sind sie nicht passend und für draußen im Wald oder zum Campingleben in der Natur taugen sie nicht mal annähernd. In unserer Familie hat jeder sein ganz eigenes Schweizer Taschenmesser ohne das das Haus nicht verlassen wird. Für das Leben in der Natur besitzt ebenfalls jeder ein Feststehendes Messer. Jeder sollte das Messer nutzen, mit dem ich du er sie es wir ihr sie glücklich und zufrieden ist. Kizer ist auf jeden Fall erheblich besser als so manch unfassbar teure Marke die grade dazu taugen, die Fingernägel sauber zu bekommen. 😊
