The reason Metal Cooler is so tough is because he can't charge ki. It charges on its own, so there's no downtime like with other opponents. The Androids are just as aggressive for this reason.
It's, despite being told how to do other Combos, the *only* Combo he knows how to do! If he used some of the other ones - particularly ones that would open up his Enemies for a Super Skill - he'd have a *MUUUUCH* easier time! Even the Master Roshi & Yajirobe vs Metal Cooler Fight! 😆
Fun fact, canonically Piccolo is the strongest fighter in this movie by a huge margin. This is cause Goku is clearly pre-time chamber since Gohan is not a Super Saiyan is still around age 7 or so. Vegeta is also pre-time chamber since there's no Trunks and he isn't using Super Vegeta as well as being on the same level of strength as Goku. BUT, it's shown that Dende is the guardian currently meaning Piccolo is fused with Kami meaning that yeah, Piccolo would rip Cooler apart. Essentially, movie canon is so fucked lmao
Yup. The funny thing is in both Cooler movies Cooler gets the jump on Piccolo giving them a reason for them to not fight so many first time viewers won't put together the whole super namek thing 😂
Movies are an entirely separate canon with separate feats. You can’t really even compare the anime to the movies for that reason. Movie Goku ≠ Anime Goku
@@phantaflame2889lol yeah but the movies do take place in-between canons lol like it’s still filler of course, but where it’s placed is pretty funny since the strongest person during Dbz change multiple times during arcs.
If Piccolo is fused with Kami that means Gohan is 11 or 12 years old already. For Gohan to not be a super saiyan yet while Piccolo is fused with Kami would put the timeline of the movie in a very very specific place, there are like a couple days it could take place. Though... if Dende is already the guardian of earth, that actually means it takes place AFTER Goku and Gohan exit the time chamber, which would place the movie in the 10 days between Cell becoming perfect and the Cell Games. You don't need power scaling to figure out the timeline.
Dont won't to burst your bubble but they dont go up that high. The highest the cpu's go is 226, which isnt even legitimate because with max stats you're only level 160.
I suppose I can give a couple of tips. A pretty basic one that might help a lot is manually vanishing. Basically if you have like... half of one bar of ki, you can press circle/block and a direction (typically left or right) while attacking, and you will vanish in that direction. Helpful for getting behind an opponent or even in situations where they super you when you whiff some normal attacks, it might actually dodge it if you time it correctly. It has saved me a lot before. You can also do the slower but cheaper version of side-stepping by pressing cross/dash instead of circle/block. But I personally find myself only doing the vanish version. Another one that could be helpful is for rush downs. And by that I mean when you dash towards an enemy and do an attack (square/attack), if you hit with this, you can actually press triangle/ki to bonk them one more time, and you can press square/attack one more time to slam them onto the ground doing some decent damage and getting some good oki or time to charge if you need it. (Metal Cooler loves doing this, and he has been cooking you with it. You even did it on accident with Roshi. So this is how you do it) Some combo moves can only be done by certain characters, so you'd have to try them out to see which ones go off, but one that I find is pretty common is a grab when they are knocked down. For this you will need to have them knocked down right in front of you (easily combo-able if you do the rush down I mentioned above while close to the ground) make sure their legs are facing towards you, and you can press up + triangle/ki to lean down and grab their ankles and you will turn around and throw them in the air. This is especially useful because this is practically a free way to land any super you want. (I should also mention you can do this after you sweep their legs) A less common option that is specific to certain characters is a turnaround. I have noticed characters like Armor Trunks, Super Vegeta, and Bardock be able to do this, but basically while attacking, you can choose a direction left or right while charging triangle/ki (just like down for the leg sweep and up for the knock up) and you will bonk the enemy upside the head so hard you will turn them around. This move is actually busted because this is very quick, but apparently just slow enough to reset the enemy. So you can abuse this mechanic if you like by alternating spinning them around and doing a gut/back blow. (Also keep in mind attacking an enemy in the back does more damage than if they were facing you, so any opportunity where you can get behind them is an opportunity worth going for) Lastly, a mechanic I personally don't use very often at all is the super guard. Yes there actually is one in this game, and I find most people don't know about it. Basically all you need to do is press circle/block, and triangle/ki, and your character will effectively brace for impact. This does slowly drain your ki as you hold it, but it is useful for significantly reducing the damage of blocking supers, and it will block a rush super at the cost of breaking your stamina (just like BT3). But it is also useful for defending against giants. See normally when you block a giant, you will take chip damage, but your character will also stagger, but if you use a super guard you will be just fine. Yeah... I played this game a lot =)
Doto: *Refuses to switch characters to have them regain health, doesn't use the abilities, doesn't even attempt Evolution Z on a quest that literally requires you to just SURVIVE, not win.* Also Doto: "This is unbalanced."
I genuinely believe he knew all of it, but he was so overwhelmed he forgot about them. I did kept questioning why he wouldn't switch considering it uses up time.
I do like that in the continuity of this game it goes: Frieza got beat, Cooler came to take revenge for his brother and got beat, Cooler comes back as an android for revenge, and then Frieza comes back later to get sliced by Future Trunks.
with how much rage I can hear in Dotto's voice during this mission. I still stand that i'm really excited or the two missions where, i'm sure he's going to have problems on. I feel like both missions still trip me up nowadays even though i'm better at the game than I was as a kid Also i'm not sure if i'm misremembering it wrong, but I remember (i recently played the wii version) being able to dash even during the intro "ready" part. I bet he could have just dashed and went under water quickly and made his way to the namekian villages to wait out the timer. I do the same strategy to yamcha when he does the "zenny challenge", you don't have to fight him and you can focus on other things.
That wouldn't have worked on Metal Cooler since he's an Android Character. Like Characters with Scouters, Androids can automatically find you even when you hide behind objects.
When you chip them in the air and step up after you sweep the leg, hit triangle and it will stagger them, rendering them helpless. Then finish the air combo with triangle and it will hit them out of view, so you can run and hide or hit them with a blast 1 or 2 👍 also holding triangle when blocking will significantly reduce the damage taken when blocking.
Fun trick for AI. At the start, before you can attack, jump up in the air behind the enemy. Now just pepper him with ki blasts. Not super, just the ki. Enemy wants to start by locking on iirc, so you lock on first by being behind him. And he doesn't want to move unless you super or he locks on. If he falls over, I want to say he faces you, but don't honestly remember.
I'm pretty sure that by now Piccolo should have leveled his Health Z-items enough that he doesn't need them all equipped to be at his max health. They could be spread out among multiple characters to keep them competitive without going to the store. Share the wealth! Also, non-flying characters have the ability to descend in a controlled fashion (not sure what controller Doto is using) to avoid the falling animation / being unable to block.
Hey dotodoya loving the dragon ball videos, I'd like to give u a helping hand with the dragon scanner, when the yellow light gets bigger your close to finding the dragonballs, this is one of my favourite db games 🙂👍
as a DBZ BT2 tournament winner, its hard to watch. Extend your combos further with triangle - the down triangle/up triangle stuff is already good, just mix in the other attacks also. Then use the sprinting mechanic. You can easily triple your damage with one combo.
Thank you an actual player of this game. He refuses to use chase and launch mechanics or even just move out of the way. That I think the slice move or kamehameha would eat through the finger blitz
He's part of the 3 idiots for a reason,Deion and Dino would've made this exact same mistake except in Deion's case he would just look for another way to do this after the 10th fail
Doto really needs to learn to jump, fly up and down, run away and create distance. Its necessary to get Dragon Balls midfight and its just better to make use of the second half the game. Also, its wild to play as a character that can't fly and consistently put yourself in the air with launch combo. Then make no attempt to touch ground before the opponent gets up. I don't want to be too negative but that was a big pilot error moment. Even just not doing launch combo or at least not following it up might've made that a lot easier.
@hassnainkhalid2416 which he'll probably never do. Kinda sad because he could have pulled funny stuff like becoming great ape vegeta vs Frieza (pretty sure his form works like in Bt3 but I could be wrong). Like one of the fun things of this games story mode is you can literally do anything. You can fuse into gogeta when fighting kid Buu, or re-fuse into Vegito. Go super sayain in the sayain saga and show off to frieza before you are supposed to turn super sayain, etc.
I love the correction to, "This level, sorry" because that is a rare mentality nowadays, we hate the game and not the player that makes it so painful, I'm going to try and improve my mindset, thank you, DotoDoya Sensei.
Androids are extra aggressive Doto they will attack you because they can't charge Ki your best options are either to full force attack them or attack them to defend yourself
Bro refuses to switch up the gameplan, it's actually admirable. Let me put you on to some game doto, a good way to cheese some damage is to charge to max power, then use the charge button + dash button twice, that let's you dash behind them, then hit the heavy button (the button that let's you do the sweep) then just mash the light attack button till your meter runs out. free cheese. You also don't fall in the water, and there's more than one string you know? and uh, senzu bean. Plus scouters of anykind auto detect you, among a few other things.
Doto, if I'm not mistaken Yajirobes charged ki attack is a sword slash an I could be wrong but I think it's unlockable. So for blue bar supers if u charge ki blast an time it, the ki blast should be able to stun him so u can follow up with ur ultimate. Hope u see this an that it helps. Stick with it doto, bt2 story might be hard as hell but the campaign is definitely worth the struggle or the fights
A little fun fact: the extra challenge of this level is to fight a team of 3 Metal Coolers with only 1 character. Yes, your heard that right. Also, Yajirobe is a pretty good character, as he has acess to the "Senzu", a 3 stock Blast 1 which recovers *all* of his HP. His ultimate blast is one of the only rush attacks in the game which can hit giant characters.
When piccolo appeared i remembered something, any stat for any character cannot exceed 20 (you se that in z evol) so if you put all health ups, eventually when those level up, you'll have more items than what you really need to have max health, so it'd be a nice idea to just put in something else. Also also, when you got the bronze membership card it means you get better items at the shop, specially +5 type items, as you get better cards you'll find +10s and i believe +15s which is good so you don't have to grind the xp on the ones you have equipped to get better items if some characters have fallen behind on lv
As soon as you said "I just need to advance" I thought you were learning and then you started the next mission with "I need to hide" and I visibly deflated
You should really put some attack and defense still cuz hp is cool to have blue hp bar, but you take 20k to an ult or more, cuz only at 30% of the story I would say right now, you’ll struggle against way worse than metal cooler I think if you keep only those hps, and I know it’s long but u should do every lil battle and try to destroy some structure you may get dragon balls easier, and u can go more than once like at baba’s shop or things like that to see if there isn’t a dragon ball cuz it happened to me than a dragon ball was there even tho I’ve already check before
The Cooler v Roshi/Yajirobe fight is easiest to beat by running away. The trick is staying on the ground or underwater. And the trap is fighting the urge to attack Cooler(you can beat him, it's just harder). Cant hide cause Cooler can sense ki. Thats just from what I remember about it anyway
I know I played that game too much as a kid, but you can actually land on the ground remotely, so you don't have to stay in the air with characters that can't fly. Helped a lot back then
Just small tip after finishing your combos always use ki move or ki rush if you're opponent was in the air R2+∆ for most characters to use strong kamihamiha R2+∆+up to use rush moves most rush moves here are broken btw since the AI doesn't now what to do after rush attack
DOTO PLEASE DODGE T__T I know you could have beaten meta coora if you blink with circle left/right during a 3 or 4 hit combo, if you got spammy with it and also used yajirobe's sword slice attack you'd win eez, you'd be HIM.
Me watching Doto struggle to stay in the air: ...So anyone gonna tell him there's a Evolution Z item that allows people to fly? 😂 Tbf I also don't know if it's available to buy yet so I won't hold that against him. Also Yajirobe made this fight a cakewalk with his sword slashes when I played this mission.
Doto the kind of guy to say "The water counts as ground!" and then never fight in the water...Thank god it saved him on the final attempt. Doto I love ya man but damn dude xD
Lmfao im not gunna lie though this is hilarious 😂😂😂😂. Just give them health z items to help them survive and your golden 😂😂😂. Loving these though, dont let this one mission stop you from playing the best dbz game ever. 😅..... im just glad you did it 😂😂
