I used to have a mammogram, then 6 months later a breast MRI, then 6 months later a mammogram, etc. It's SO scary sometimes. Remember... an MRI shows literally everything. It very well could be nothing at all - but no matter what it is, you'll deal with it. Why? Because you're a rock star! Never forget that!

I’m praying that you get good news. I just had a biopsy myself and it was benign. I go back in September. I’m hoping you can put this behind you forever

An MRI sounds a lot more pleasant than a mammogram. Hoping everything ends up being ok. I really do appreciate the insight and education you offer people with regard to this kind of thing. Thank you for being willing to share this part of your life. I have no doubt that you help far more people than you could possibly imagine.

My husband had radical cancer surgery and I have turned hyper vigilant. But not obsessive about his health. You just want to make sure that everything possible is being done for a good outcome. Many blessings for you and Gray

You are incredibly brave. It puzzles me they leave you in limbo for so long until the next scan, that seems so wrong to me, how can anyone relax knowing this and not getting a definite diagnosis. I hope you get the all clear soon.

Hi again you 2! Thank you and appreciate the update. As an RN of 39 years, working in all specialties, I know medical insurance drives Dr. decisions more than most people would want to think. Have you checked with your insurance and are they willing to pay for a biopsy at this time or are they the ones saying to wait? I am trying to be very careful here and not tell you what to do.....you and Gray know best but is getting a second opinion something you are willing to think about and if insurance is willing to pay why not have the biopsy now? If insurance is not willing to pay, you can always appeal and with your history I am confident you would win the appeal. A lot of times people themselves have to be their own strongest advocate, especially when it comes to their health. You have a lot of life left to live, and live it with no regrets. If you are not worried about it, thinking about it anymore that's fine...for you but if you are, listen to your inner voice, your heart and soul and believe what it is telling you. You will never go wrong. virtual hugs to you both. You both are 1 of my favorite you tube couples.....I only have 3!!!

I hate the waiting part! I have a “mass” on my back that needs to be removed and sent to pathology because of my history with cancer. Okay cool let’s do that. They called today with my surgery date, end of July. Ugh. But at the same time that’s a good sign I think that she’s not worried about waiting that long.

Sending hugs and prayers. I understand how you feel the waiting on results is so hard . You have to have total trust in your Dr for sure. I also have a great team and have done great in the last year with my stage 4 Breast cancer. I still and getting immunotherapy every 3 weeks through my port still and it seem to be working no progression and no new cancer so I'll take it. Take care and your in my thoughts and prayers

I am praying for you. I had a breast biopsy done two weeks ago- my mass was benign. Be strong.🙏🙏🙏🙏 Why are they waiting for two to three months to get a biopsy? As a nurse, I am not happy with this decision. Sweetheart, can you get a second opinion? You can ask your doctor to do an appeal for you to get the biopsy done right away if your insurance company has a problem with an immediate biopsy. I had to wait two weeks to get my biopsy and I know the agony of waiting. Babygirl we are here for you. We love you❤️❤️❤️❤️

I tried to have the MRI scan done but I wasnt able to tolerate the magnetic field inside it. I have that inner ear problem that causes me to be extremely dizzy just getting near the edge of an MRI. All I can do are regular CT scans. I thought at first I was just crazy 🤪😂 but the doctor said its really a true condition thats a physical reaction to the magnetic field. The CT scans do not have a magnetic field. Thankgoodness 🤣🤣🤣 Meniere’s disease is the reason Iam sensitive to MRIs. VBD is aggravated by MRIs. I wish the doctors would include the patient in deciding the next step in our care. I always try and tell my docs what would you tell your wife to do? Make sure you are comfortable with their decision, this is your life, prayers you look like a strong woman with a loving husband

i dont like having to wait--2-3 months seems like a long time. after you have had time to process the new info, call them back and ask for 1 month. thats reasonable i guess🤔 i have to wait too and it is a real drag on my vibe!!

I hate the IV contrast for those MRIs. It makes me feel loopy/dizzy.

I know this is a stupid question 🙋‍♀️ but why do you wear a glove on one hand?

My shoulder MRI was pretty cool. I had the techs rap me up like a mummy so I could just relax against the wrap and know I wasn't moving. I fell asleep. The noise was like white type noise..😴😴

I found a lump in my breast last year and I just had a heart attack 45 years of age and I had a heart attack but my doctor was very good he sent me to the hospital I have a check up and found out I had a a load of cysts in my breasts but the lady said they should go away but keep an eye on my breasts as breast cancer runs in the family

Those are the same words I heard before my breast cancer diagnosis, sorry to say.

What was the benefit of waiting? Why not biopsy it now and just know?

It sounds okay to me. They are exercizing anabundance of caution, if they thought it was likely to be cancer they would remove it ASAP.

Personally for me, it would not be worth it to keep a 5 mm area of my breast and have it to worry about. I would insist to have the whole thing removed, not just biopsied. But that's just me, because I just don't care about the look of my breasts and care more about my piece of mind for 3 months. I can see how it's different for other people also.

I just had an MRI of the breasts. My ribs were against the hard plastic. I wish that I found the test as comfortable as you. I hope that you are doing well. Why is it the doctor says, "everything was great but...?" Next an nuclear PET SCAN and finally a CT of my liver. Such excitement..not looking forward to the yummy vanilla silq contrast drink. I know exactly what you are saying!
