i just want them to fix our heals man. retail ret healing is a joke. flash of light healing for 80k on a 6 second cd is absolutely criminal. Considering thats like less then 1/10th of my max hp right now. Also word of glory costing 3 holy power on top of costing mana as well is insane.

The buffed the master proc damage by 50% so the talent point change is a straight up buff. Also the cleave animation from that talent looks like The animation for Smite
Especially with retri paladins. See how they did us with the rework. They nerfed everything. Our dps healing and pvp talents. Just because they overbuffed our dps. Something every ret paladin told them was 2 much before it went live... they ignored us so they had an excuse nerf everything lol.
Since BFA its always been haste, vers (literally every single time for ret sine BFA). When Shadowlands hit it was still mostly haste/vers, but a little mastery. When DF hit it was haste vers right off the bat, then people started heavily leaning into mastery in season 3 of DF. Now its pretty much haste/mastery. I would know this I pushed 30+ keys in Season 3 and I am now pushing +12's in season 4. (oh thats funny bud) Well a +2 in season 4 of DF is like a +10/+12. I ranked top 100 in the world on area-52 for ret paladins on Raider IO. Love your videoes bud. You got a good voice and your a good kid and I enjoy your content
Well seeing how he is mainly focused on pvp, which he clearly said, your statprio for pve content doesnt mean much boy 😂 no matter what keylevel your pushing.
Im guessing this vwas before the change to SoV making it a choice node with stronger dp. that sucks man... wiht gutten healing and now a choice node doesnt look good .
ret talents are so much better than retail because they finally realized just how dead some of our talents are like vanguard of justice i loved before nerfs like 30 40% extra on final verdict was worth it now its crap at 15% same with the inquisitor's ire was so nice then boom nerf same with even divine arbiter still 25% nerfed even judgment so all these are great but lets see what they are after nerfs but yea i do love them i just really want ret to be the juggernauts we use to be slow and powerful especially no mortal strike and they taking our slows
Dont like the changes. They basically remove any setup based comps from ret cos u would break every single cc in the game. Thats super dumb. At least give us options to play aoe or single target. P.S. i k. that they are doing it all for the sake of pve and dont rly care about pvp.
I mean I’m not really sure I agree. These talents arnt mandatory and are completely controlled aoe so you don’t have to send divine storms if you don’t want to. This finally brings back control to our aoe. No more blessed hammer too.
@Lvladen PvP . Anyone wanna back me up and make a push for them to change consecration to be actually useful. Atm its a waste of a global cause it does so little damage and often only ticks a few times before enemy players just move out of it making it a joke, its the same for holy pally to both healing and damage tick for like 1-2 k max, when players having 1.3 mil HP this doesn't even register LOL, what makes it worse is that both paladin trees have talents based around being in consecration to trigger other things...meaning not only do you have to waste a global on a nothing abil, but then your forced to spend precious talent points to gain access to buffing other things WOG, denounce etc and that feels really bad. Solution is simple ramp up the damage and healing it does massively and most importantly make it so IT MOVES WITH THE PLAYER so we get close to max benefit out of it. the fact the Blizz hasn't thought of this yet is completely Dumbfounding. What would make you think none of this is sticking? Every change has been good so far, and we're just getting the first pass of changes. Monk got their changes and they are insane. I'm expecting good things for the other melee too
Not really impressive because it will all be nerfed. Ret needs more utility and healing, piling on damage always gets nerfed in the end and you become a cookie-cutter spec damage dealer with nothing else to show.
I don't know know about you, but i am tired of seeing these old animations expansion after expansion, always the same...even if they change numbers it still looks dated. I wish they'd put the same effort that goes into mobs towards working on player spells.
Not sure which you're talking about but overall I think ret is probably the best looking melee DPS spec out there with enhance maybe up for debate as to which is better (depending on which talents enhance is allowed to pick). Also the most 'dated' animation of all is the exorcism proc on the new mastery which is the single thing I am most excited about for ret outside of the hero talents. I've been offering the suggestion to Blizzard for a while now that they give us a glyph to make judgement cast animation look the same as what ret's current two piece animation looks like, make you look like you're pointing your holy weapon at your enemy and judging them unworthy, I love it. Outside of that I think ret's animations and spell effects are the best they've ever been and the best out of all melee overall. To each their own I guess
