im just casual simracing enthusiast and i like raceroom physics before bcos you dont have to alter much of the baseline setup to make the car drivable. now it feels very understeery, and im not good with setups, i just change ARBs, tyre pressures and brake bias before but now i need an in-depth understanding of all settings 😭😭😭 pls send help

@@arvinwitara6266 There are two main parameters I change for car balance. You can make your car less understeery by changing the aerodynamic balance to the front (more wing on the front or less at the rearl, which affects especially the balance at mid-to-high speed corners. You can also adjust the anti-roll bars. Softer anti-roll bars at the fron (less) or harder anti-roll bars at the rear (higher number) makes your car more understeery. For a further look into the complex process of setups, just watch some detailled setup guides. The setup making process can be easily one of the most time-consuming and frustrating ways to prepare, you rather just want to download a setup 🤣

I really like Raceroom. Their version of F4 by Tatuus is my favorite open wheel experience in simracing as a whole. (Especially on circuits like Charade, Sepang or Suzuka) I love the sound design of that game, which is second to ACC in my books. The graphics are still more than serviceable. Their LMP cars are great fun in general. You need to spend something like 15 bucks 25 bucks to get a really decent car park variety (oh boy, historical DTM machines in RR are so good.) and tracks to drive on. With this little investment you also get the ability to participate in permanently running Prac/Quali/Race rotation of competition 3 clicks away. The force feedback is IMHO a crossover between AC and rF2 model, and physics are in general really enjoyable, although the cars are still a tad bit more grippy than in real life. I concur to your sentiment that the game is underrated and I highly recommend to anyone it to try it if you haven't yet. RR is my personal favorite to learn new tracks in, because of how SOLID the game is.

I think you should be asking why anyone would not realise this is the fun part of the video, the entire point of it if you will.

While it's outdated, and quite CPU limited, it seems they did some work with the multicore support, nowadays it's able to leverage multiple cores pretty well.

​@@panvlk Definitely much better than the past, just a shame that one of the best sims is perpetually handicapped by its graphics API and engine. It really is impressive how far they've dragged it along into semi-modernity, though, and it's easily one of my favorite sims to drive
