hey y'all I thought I would make another video about things that figure skaters hate I hope y'all can relate to some of the video. I thought I would keep this video short and sweet hope you will enjoy!!
Y'all I promise, if u see me copy u on the ice, it isn't because im tryna out do u or "show u how it's done" I just totally forgot to practice that and u reminded me
Fr, if I'm practicing the same thing as you AFTER watching you do it, I'm literally just checking whether or not I can still do it or will fall on my ass for trying
I hate when judges on tests fails you when you think you did good but pass you when you think it was bad😫 and my sister broke her knee when she got on the ice with guards on
@@emelynkaylee that sucks but it's also rlly funny bc when i did my novice moves i thought i was gonna fail and i passed, exactly like my original comment said hahaha.
omg my friend just started skating so i was teaching her, and she said, “wait I can’t go over to that side of the rink because it’s only for professionals” LIKE IM NOT EVEN PROFESSIONAL
@@sailor_chaos At my rink it depends on the session, for public ones spins and most jumps have to be done in the middle because of people (unless it's not busy then you can jump anywhere) but for figure skating sessions spins have to be in the middle-ish area just not in the corners or ends because that's where everyone sets up jumps unless you are running a program then you can spin and jump anywhere.
@@sailor_chaos This might be late but at my rink it's: Spins in the middle, jumps in the corners/ends. When setting up for a lutz you need that corner to be empty since you can't really watch for other people and lutzes are usually jumped close to the boards. So if you see a skater coming in for a lutz, you should probably move.
@@sailor_chaos yeah this is late but usually I think it most right corners are for lutz and people can get really close to the walls so I wouldn’t stick around there. The middle it for spins and maybe a few tricks.
It's when you remember you bring gloves and when you go in you check your bag and there are no gloves and then the rink guard doesn't allow you to go in for some reason...
Lol! When you did the moves it reminded me that I just started working on the intermediate moves, it’s Tuesday today and I passed my juvenile moves on friday
So many of these are so funny and accurate... Personally, I don't allow my skaters restarts on their program, it's on them to learn how to pick of the pieces and deal with anything... I've seen that habit bite people hard come competition time.
I'm 68 and can remember all of that in addition to practicing figures 3 times a day in the summer and dances for the various tests. The bronze test had 3 dances and one of them was a canasta tango
And in programs the kids/7&8 year olds slowly skating in the middle not paying attention while you are trying to do your program and not have them in your way
You forgot, when your friends say “CAn YoU Do A TrIpLe AxEl” Or when you show someone a video of a figure skater doing a triple and they respond with “I can do that” someone litterally told me that once 😂
