for everyone who doesn’t know what an nft is: nfts are short for “non fungible token” they’re basically drawings online that you buy with crypo currency, basically virtual money why are they bad? well you have to “mine” for crypto currency, and it takes a lot of energy and is bad for the environment overall sorry if this was confusing I’m only 10 and only learned about this recently lmao

Yeah, NFTs are cringe. I don't care about the environment, but as someone with knowledge in computer science, I completely understand that NFTs are scams.
for anyone being like "NFT's are not safe for the environment!!!!" so is watching youtube, being on your phone a lot, scrolling through tiktok yt shorts and all, basically just using the internet. All of these require mad amounts of servers that need to get cooled off constantly cuz they create a lot of heat
