A while back I started a series called Things To know. It's not exactly a review series, but more of an informational session on products and bikes that I personally own. In this video I talk about my 2016 Honda Africa Twin CRF1000l. I have had the bike for a few months now and have done some of the major upgrades people like to do on these bikes to make them adventure ready. Hope you enjoy it and it helps you out. Great video review. I really appreciate that you compared various aftermarket parts, eg. crash bars. I'm new to the ADV bike scene, and didn't know there were multiple options. Thank you for excellent video!

I used the Mitas E07 front & rear on my DR650, liked the rear but the front was so-so, like you I found the front not aggressive enough. On my '17 Africa Twin I decided to get an E07 rear, but on the front I went with a Continental TKC80 which is a 40/60 tyre. So far I'm much happier with the more aggressive front tyre, gives me better grip and better braking on the loose stuff.

Relatively new to adventure rider myself (coming from the sport touring world). Slick idea about soft tail bag in hard top box for basecamp riding. Appreciate it!

Awsome looking tool , love this colour .Think we get it in the UK for 2017 . Good to here about your choices of craash bars and the panniers look great . I am going to get one in october when its time to swap my VFR800X. DCT transmission for sure.
