there is actually so much history with US involvement in Hawaii that I didn't know growing up, a lot of it very unpleasant. there is absolute loads and loads of history in every single state that I feel like I'll never make it through it all in a single lifetime LOL. Banger video, those rifles are so interesting and need I mention gorgeous. hope you had a nice new years!

great stuff. the star on the eto patch is for the army service forces that were backing up the frontline troops. there are variants without it. did you know they fairly recently discontinued the nation defense medal? didnt know about the alive day. cool info. according to a vet i talked to online they were still issuing ww2 vintage purpler hearts during the global war on terror!!!

I didn't know that about the National Defense Medal being discontinued. That's interesting about the purple hearts also.
