He's only happy when the spring planting is done and that's only for a day then it's crop protection during the summer then when fall harvest is done then it's happiness for a day then it's any tillage and grain hauling and preparation for the next spring planting rinse and repeat the life of a farmer lol

I build solar fields but I'm on a natural gas plant we're building and actually I'm in Ohio wonder if I'm close to Brian I'm in lordstown Ohio I don't think I'm near him but never farmed but love watching it

Looks like you're still moving forward despite the unsettled weather. Cherish the moment that you've got multiple hands to achieve simultaneous tasks!!! I've got a few headlands/borders of beans to replant due to groundhog damage...then the drill can be cleaned out.
I think its complete normal to have some stress ,especially when the wheather is not working whit you, we did not plant 50% of our silagecorn this year due to wet conditions that is given me stress and makes me also a bit angry so whats new,thanks and greetings from a Dutch dairyfarmer

I would call it realistic, not angry. Every time I go all happy on a project life rises up and bites me in the ass, so I tend to the grumpy side on the theory you can only go up from there.

Are you saying that you can no longer burn the empty bags in the field anymore??!! What a bummer! It reminded me that we used to do the same thing. That's just not right! Burning the bags is actually recycling and the remains of the burning is good for the soil!
yes, you want rain but not when sowing seeds when you have done that, it can rain for 14 days quietly but there is something that doesn't work the way you want it to

BRIAN ..dispositions very in people...I was the older Brother on a 1000 acre farm and had a lot more to oversee then my younger brothers ,so I grew up a bit more aggressive personality...But anger best I take a walk ...Personally different family dispositions are helpful
$450, WTF!!! We had a soybean/wheat seed business. Sold 50lb soybean units for $6-7... Last Pioneer seed corn I bought was avg $75/unit... We baged 35-40k units of soybeans/year, 6-8k units of wheat... Cracks my a$$ up watching you all handling bags, bitching like 12 year old girls... LOL!!! and yes, we burned them all right in the field...Didnt have bulk bags or boxes, seed tenders etc... We did have a fork lift, so you put a pallet of seed on the pickuptruck and loaded the planter... which was not central fill...
Brian, apparently the person that made that comment has no stress in their life. You have a finite window to accomplish a lot of work. You have the weight of a business and many people on your shoulders. It’s called stress. Keep up the good work and whoever said that can go play with their unicorns.

Maybe you should try an skip and prance around like Zach does to relieve some of that stress? Or maybe ride around with a large prosthetic body part in your motor home with a bunch of dudes……. That’s sounds like a recipe for happiness and fulfillment for straight men 🤷🏻♂️
