just i wanna clear something my dad used to own a golf mk2 with a diesel engine and it did'nt have that chair problem i mean kind of they weren't loose and wobly but they were no longer adjustable like back and forth and my dad never takes care of his car like that golf mk2 he bought in prestine condition and when he sold it it's was literally like has been abondened in a cave for a billion years

This is cool. A friend of mine had one of the first 20vt swapped mk1´s in Holland. We met a brandnew rs6 on the highway. We were actually faster at the top, because the rs6 was limited to 250km/h. A few weeks later the guy wanted a rematch, because he had it tuned and removed the limiter:D. Absolute bullet that mk1 was.

Had loads of these and MK2's in the eighties and 90s, even into the 2000's, they were good fun with 110/112 bhp so this looks amazing, got a 300 odd bhp Fiesta ST and that, for me is a nearest fairly modern car that gets anywhere near. Brings back so many memories, shame they are so expensive now.
