The Dale content is my favorite, is is a bit dry and always about big problems or spending lots of money, but it is also something you never think of as a consequence of dealing with that much lumber.

I love finding videos like this out in the wild that show the insides of those electrical panels, because now that I'm going to school for that kind of controls stuff, I actually understand what the stuff does just by looking at it. It's awesome to see, and I can't wait to be working on stuff like that for a career! Mechatronics is awesome.

I think the real reason we all love Dale is because (along with his glowing personality) he is literally playing the macro resource management base building game of Wyrmwood.

I'm a detail kinda guy so I have to ask: Who decided what kind of trailers to use to haul the wood waste, you guys or the waste guys? Because SOMEONE should have made an effort to figure out what that much waste would weigh. Also, it's on the waste guys if they brought the trailer because it's defective. They should check their gear more often.

i was a truck driver for 6 years. it’s insane how old trailers are and how few companies maintain them.

🥳DALE!!!!!!🥳 All true engineers take their coffee black. There's no time to pretty that up as you're jumping from one fire to another. I love the look of infinite patience Dale has as Doug tries to figure out the breaker system. With all the new power you guys are going to draw will you need to add in another substation or is there still more than enough capacity on site? Stay away from gas ovens for your place, the extra fire code and safety compliance you'll have to add will make Doug's head explode again. There's good reason for the codes (enough stupid/short sighted businesses have blown up industrial ovens over the years that they have to be fairly strict), but it will still drive him up a wall.

Boilers are a LOT safer now than they were 20-30 years ago. Pellet stoves especially since they have very accurately controlled fuel feed and air intake that remove the possibility of accidental overheating. Plus, pressure relief valves are more reliable as well in the event the system pressure gets too high.

Guys, with the new Inflation Reduction act you can probably get funding for a biomass/wood gasifier that would produce electricity from the wood waste and be much cleaner, and more efficient. You can even get systems that will gasify your plastic waste and things too. I am a sustainability consultant and have a background in reneable energu engineering. You guys have a lot of options here.

And the rusty bottom fell out suddenly and that was the last we ever saw of Doug....

Wyrmwood may want to start inspecting the trailers and rejecting ones that are rusted out. Also those pallet lifts definitely reduce wear and tear on employees lower backs.

Huh. I drove a switch truck for 2 years. A tilted trailer like that was not a problem. I moved 60 trailers between warehouse and production buildings per shift.

Yeah, this feels like a 'them' problem, because that trailer looks like it was on its last legs before it ended up being scrapped; the thing's got rust all over it and it's clearly been repaired multiple times. Given Wyrmwood's track record with companies though, my guess is that Frank's going to have to get involved, because I could see the pellet company just abandoning it on the lot and taking no responsibility for it.

The company I partially work for have their own pellet machine and they make their own pellets to burn and they have a government grant where they get money for not using natural gas, and then they also sell the excess pellets. It’s only a small company thouh

That trailer should've been out of commission YEARS ago, with a frame that's more rust than metal. The frame could've broken on the road while they were hauling it away and caused a major accident. Wonder how many laws they were breaking trying to repair that deathtrap, let alone the fact they kept using it.

You could probably move the trailer using a top handler. Used to use one when I was in the service. They just....huge though.

As a new wyrmwood video arrives my hopes for more yo-yo info ascends but at last the new video only brings disappoint. As the days turn to weeks and the weeks months and the months years one can only wonder when more news of the yo-yo's will come, some say give up but as any true wyrmling knows good will come to those who wait.

Never felt so much anxiety when there were fucking with the trailer that's is rusted, crumbling and maybe overloaded. They were on the side that was falling and Doug underneath holy shit, good content tho.

Going to be honest, I think Matt and I are aligned on the enthusiasm. I watch all the episodes, but I prefer the design episodes, or the old-school Bobby screwing around. Real estate and sawdust aren't my favorites :p Though I do want updates on that.
