Yep… You are reading this correctly. We bought another project vehicle. If we don’t stop now, we will probably lose our house lol
In all seriousness, Steph has been looking for one of these vehicles for a long time, and I kind of always knew that the day would come when one popped up on marketplace that we had to pick up in a hurry. To find a running and driving early bronco with a full top and full doors for $10,000 is insane. 10 years ago, this would have sounded crazy, but these days, these vehicles have become increasingly rare and overpriced.
Steph has a lot of work ahead of her, but she is extremely motivated and dedicated to seeing this project come to fruition. She has new parts ordered and on the way already, and she has put in a ton of work since this video was filmed only a few short days ago. I’m very excited to share the progress as she turns this ugly, pink abomination into her dream ride.
Be sure to follow along!

I love that gen of Bronco.

The only bronco I’ve ever owned was a 1978 and they are really big. The first generation broncos are the perfect size and that have such a cool style to them. I’m really excited to have one in the driveway and I’m really looking forward to working with Steph to get it up and going as quickly as possible

Just a thought, get it running driving and have some fun before taking it apart for years. Big Bear Bronco Bash is June 7 -8.

Thank you!! For the viewers who aren’t early bronco fans, 10K seems like a crazy amount of money for a project vehicle. For the viewers who know how valuable these things have become, 10K is a great deal for a running and driving early bronco.

Yeah, we talked about that, and Steph really wants the bronco to be more of a Sunday driver. They’re so rare and expensive that beating it up would be a crime. That said, these things are super stout and capable. We’ll definitely make some unique content with it!

Steph is elated. I, myself, have never been much of a bronco person, but this generation of bronco really speaks to me in a lot of ways. I am really excited to work on this with her and see it come to life.

Your on the west coast and you buy a rustbelt 50 yr old 4x4, that's not the way to do it. That Bronco may bring $3500 here in the deep south if the drive train is useable but the tub isn't worth the effort. Blow it apart, blast the frame and rebuild everything but find another tub. Neil Young said it best...Rust never sleeps
@CRAWLTV
@CRAWLTV 2 месяца назад
Dude… Check the prices of these things. If you find one on marketplace in this condition for $3500, I will come get it tomorrow. Feel free to share the links right here in the comments because I don’t believe those exist.

@@CRAWLTV You have to be willing to drive, yes fixed they bring good money but that's a parts truck, one of my friends has 3 sitting next to his shop in the condition of yours and its for parts, This is a guy that has sold them in the 30 - 50k range so yes I know what they can bring. please get to working on the tub I cant wait to see the videos. Remember you cant polish a Turd Beavis. Not hating on you guys I'm just speaking from 50+ years of working on rusty crap.

Just go buy a tub from Dennis carpenter it’ll be cheaper in the long run as apposed to replacing all the panels that need replacing
@CRAWLTV
@CRAWLTV Месяц назад
Honestly, if that was within our budget that would be 100% the right way to go about this. Instead, we’re going to put in the work, sharpen our skills, and learn some things along the way with the tub we have. At the end of the day, Steph wants a nice driver and not necessarily a show vehicle, so we can live with some level of imperfection on this one.
