The Lord of the Rings: The Battle for Middle-earth II is a 2006 real-time strategy video game developed and published by Electronic Arts. The second part of the Middle-earth strategy game series, it is based on the fantasy novels The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit by J. R. R. Tolkien and its live-action film series adaptation. It is the sequel to Electronic Arts' 2004 title The Lord of the Rings: The Battle for Middle-earth. Along with the standard edition, a Collector's Edition of the game was released, containing bonus material and a documentary about the game's development.

Things are really different than V7/V8. Op blight, Glorfinerf ect.

I think in mid game elves made some mistakes. Like Andy saw how his ents got one-shotted, yet kept feeding them to the ballistas. Best way is to camp around the fort outside of ballista range, build walls to block pathways, and lock him in. Then you get all the powerpoints, use flood and shit, and then finish with ents.

Why does everyone feel the need to commit on the fortress at the dumbest of times? He couldve forced a defeat so easily if he killed production buildings with the ent summon

Problem is fire ballista on fort outranges Ents and production is close to the fort :D

Make noldors saruman cant dominate them. Make thranduil, legolas and haldir for killing the isen heros. Spam towers put inside mirks. Make a proxy base, statues, wells and towers with mirks. Also eagle summon should use for destroying the fortress balistas. Elven heros with noldors can kill even dragon summon in seconds. Andy has so much money and cp for doing all this twice. İ think elves still the best faction of the game.

I hate elves, but this is just ridiculous. Fort siege should not have bigger range than mobile siege. Impossible to kill forts.

@@Velenorion but couldnt he just built some FU lorien warriors? And 3 ents? They are not the best but i think in that situation it would have been good. Or shoot ballistas with mirks?

Ents suck. But he was just narrowminded and frankly terrible at macro play level. 1 concentrated push would've ended it. Instead he kept feeding little by little one at a time. He could've even just waited for the flood and then attack. But he almost textbook fed only ever so much that it can be defeated

1 concentrated attack can be punished by powerpoint stuff and abilities... thats also the problem in the endgame
