Nothing wrong with a battery powered radio, some drinks, and good laughs/smiles with or without friends. It makes your bigger catches more memorable as well!

I MUST AGREE, I like this version of You! Chill have Fun and catch a BIG ONE! Nice Flat Dude! Be you Buddy, Shorts Snazzy Hat, no Shoes, it can't get more Laid Back than that. Only one thing! I have always believed in wearing a nice shirt when you go fishing, because when you catch a world record fish you will be all over the internet and tv and such
Dave you can touch up on your singing voice, just a little bit. HaHa. You were a long way from home, but the two real nice fish , to me, made it worth it. That was a nice blue cat you cought frist. I don't care who you are, you don't catch a flathead like that every day. Take care, God bless.
I was just looking for a CFD video and here it popped up! Bless your heart. This is just what I needed on a Friday when I was planning to fishing but the East wind and the weather are not in my favor, so RU-vid and CatFish Dave are going to be my relief!!
Great video! Congratulations on catching a nice Blue! Bro the Flathead was a TANK! Thanks for all the tips you add in your video's! Keep fishing from north Alabama ghenley35

Been watching since you was a bank fisherman, my wifes mother lives in Paducah and we come up from east Texas every summer, ive caught some healthy size cats right there, pretty cool to see we have fished some of the same water
Glad to see you are back Dave, Last I heard you were having truck troubles. Hope they didn't have to shoot your horse......Real nice Flatty, man, just a beautiful fish.
Great video Dave, Hope you stayed another day or two and moved up into the kentucky/Indiana part of the Ohio River and fished that, be interesting to see how well you do there. Thanks again
Glad to see your fishing where I fish sometimes the Skipjacks does get a little bigger have caught 3 lb ones down there good luck in the Ohio love watching your show
seeing that carp cut in half and still breathing reminded me of back in the late 70’s when we would go to northern Wisconsin musky fishing and we started seeing just the head of Bullheads going through the water with the gills still moving that was what kept them moving but we found out the muskies were feeding on them and they would bite them right behind the three spikes
Love your fishing bud. Rarely see a tape or scale. Just like me. Really wish I hade pics of the fish I caught in my youth. Quite a few could have gone on the wall. But I ain’t killing a fish like that.
Awesome banjo! I think Bach would be a good name. Not only for the composer, yet for all of the chickens who lost there lives to Beethoven just because all they could say was Bach.
We don’t get many skipjack year round around northern Kentucky. I just posted a video burning up giant skips on the Ohio River below Markland dam to my page. Most of them were Tennessee sized 😂
I feel the magic of that area. I felt it on the Potomac River just upstream from George Washington's pad, Your description of the area was so spot on excellent. There are many areas like these if people just get out and explore.
I just subscribed to your channel. I was the101000 subscriber I’m from Oregon traveling through your area. Going to dip a line this Weekend trying fat a Catty. Don’t really have them in Oregon.
Hey Dave. I've fished the Ohio for 25 years and always ate the fish. Every since the trainwreck in East Palestine, Ohio. When they burned the chemicals and they ran into the river that spills into the Ohio, I haven't been back. I like to eat my catch but I have been afraid since.
Great video Dave. I live about 30 miles from the Paducah riverfront. You are correct you don't see a lot of people fishing from boats in that section of the river. Keep up the good work.
Dave when you were washing your boat with that young girl candy I believe. There were no dag blasted dog leaf blowers dag blasted bass boats. Lets see more candy on the boat an less dag blastet noise.
Great video Dave, my grandparents came from that area and moved to S Knoxville we have some things in common. I heard stories of monster catfish as a kid.
Love your videos, especially when you're in my hometown Paducah where I grew up. A couple of things that you said caught my ear. Lake Barkley not lake Cumberland. Unfortunately, most bank fishing has been lost due to a barge company has bought up most of the shoreline in Paducah and neighboring counties. The shoreline where I played as a kid growing up is now off limits for the most part 😢
