I always thought it would be amazing to have a game where you play some missions in the 3nd person view like Splinter Cell- where you gather intelligence on a target, and then when you beat that mission, you play as like the assault team in 1st person that raids that same target.
I hope future Ghost Recon games have both First Person and Third Person like Arma, really liked Wildlands but third person and cover based systems have always been a turn off for me when it comes to military shooters
They used to have that! It was amazing to play them in 1st person, as they were action packed, story driven games, still tactical /stealth to certain extent.
Yeah, thanks to Ubicucks, their simply going to run this franchise to the ground and then some. Look at the new Rainbow six, its absolutely BS, they have time to make that trash- but avoid it at all costs to make a simple mod like this for people to have Actual fun, not buying some shitty dlc expansion, ubisoft has ruined ghost recons name. And always will. But I love this game whole heartedly.

That why I really like 3rd person games with a 1st person view mode there's full body animation which makes it looks much grounded instead of floating 3d arms may play worse but I don't care looks awesome
Here here! I was just talking to my brother today about how much more I like it when they put the camera on the actual model's head so you can see the entirety of their body moving and it reflecting what the actual character model is doing. In first person game like Farcry just have your arms and legs, but the animations the actual character model is doing are nowhere near as high quality.
Yea I'm the same. 3rd person view to me is what separates it from any ol run n gun or shoot n loot. When you can see the character crouch down and move around objects...that's what make the game fun and realistic.
This mod indeed turns into into an entirely different game! Love it, since i kinda hated the 3rd person. I like to play it with all markers/HUD stuff off as well. Much more immersive, and not just point & shoot at HUD icons.
The fact that the Blackhawk instrument panel is as detailed as it is leads me to believe that there was originally a 1st person mode intended that was scrapped.

I love this mod! I really like that the gun isn't constantly in your face too, like most FPSs do. When you're running, the gun isn't "up" because that's not how you run with a gun.
I saw the trailer for that Ghost Recon battle royale game and all I thought was: why couldn't they have added first person to Wildlands and Breakpoint? Glad to see that someone made it happen, even if it wasn't Ubisoft adding it as a feature like they should've. It'd be cool if someone could do this for Breakpoint but considering it's an online only game and the anti-cheat system, they'd practically need permission from Ubisoft themselves to make it.
I think the fact the game was built up as a 3rd person game with fluid animations, when it's applied to the First Person Camera makes it look so natural and smooth. A huge game changer indeed.
this game is already immersive and gorgeous adding first person to it might take all of my free time ive already spend thousand plus hours into this game i might have to sink a thousand more
I hope UBISOFT will see this MOD and finally implement 1st person to this game as option for people to choice between 3 or 1st person! I Hope aswell the mod will come to BREAKPOINT too in some point ! This was the reason why i stop playing it , i miss 1st person view after 20-30 min ingame! This mod its awesome! But how i said a NATIVE 1st person support will be very apreciated in this games!
Just to keep the scope of GR modding small and practical for the moment, BR Breakpoint could really use this first person only mod. The setting is vastly different from Wildlands, more wilderness in general, I'd love to see how it looks in first person. And the bush-stealth/prone camo mechanics would be awesome in first person too.
I’m so glad you posted this. I’ve been so tempted to buy wild lands cuz I used to love ghost recon but have t enjoyed them for a while. And I’m not a big 3rd person fan. But wildlands is 70% right now and with this it’s def worth $15. Great video as always
I noticed when playing this that even the speed lever on the armored boat you steal in a mission is animated and moves with your character's hand as you increase or decrease speed. They must have laid the ground work for a first person mode that was never implemented.

I recognized it right off, im former military and gotta say, this game checks alot of the right boxes for a military game. This mod looks awesome man, im installing it tonight. I wish Rockstar would make a open world military game like Read dead 2, but in Vietnam. Full story maybe do character switches like GTA5, i mean maybe its just me but i think that would literally print money.
Keep dreaming, a military shooter unless you call yourself COD wouldnt have many sales like a Rockstar game. Why the hell all have to be Vietnam, we didn't lose already there?
@@mariano98ify Lol you mean COD, one of the best selling game franchises of all time? A Rockstar made open world Vietnam experience with a story would be epic and sell really well. They are known for storytelling, and if there is one thing Vietnam has plenty of, its stories. And yes we did lose, thats why it's so damn interesting. US cant always be depicted as top dog, that gets boring af. Imagine a R* produced Nam epic where you could play as all sides and switch between them; USA, ARVN, NVA and VC.
You should try out Easy Red 2, it's a WW2 tactical squad base FPS. It has singleplayer with bots and multiplayer (also with bots). It's a small passion project made by one guy and it's on steam and it's only 8$. Cheers.

Hell yeah! That's great to hear! Immersion and the switch of perspective can be just enough to change how i feel about a game (am not sure if i'm the only idiot that did this or not, but i played the entirety of GTA V with FPS mode enabled for example) Now if only someone can mod 4 more friendly customizable ai to accompany me (as teased in the ending of Wildlands) so i can have a full sized Squad, but the mere fact we finally have a functional FPS mod is more than enough to entice a full new playthrough on tier one mode XD

holy shit the inertia when you turn, Tarkov should copy that, its cool because its a third person game so the movements of turning the charecter are more realistic
The last Ghost Recon I played was Advanced Warfighter 2 - fun game, played in 1st person as much as possible, but it just wasn't right at all with the forced 3rd person cover. Not surprised it took a mod to get this one to be more like, well, Ghost Recon, but glad to see it is a thing.
This looks great. I own the game but haven't really played it after playing a whole bunch of Ubi 3rd person games, I enjoyed The Division but after a while they all feel kind of the same including this one and breakpoint. This mod sparked my interest and I will definitely give this a go.
This video made me buy this game for myself an a friend to play cooperative. No regrets. 57 hours later we are still playing. So much more fun in coop. Got 3 friends playing now. It awesome
I'm the guy on Reddit who made some posts showing off FPV in Breakpoint and Wildlands using a glitch in the camera mode. Everyone loved it, everyone wants it. Not to call them idiots, but Ubisoft are idiots. My posts and this mod are evidence that players do want a dedicated FP view in these games even if they lack the polish like the dials in vehicles. Instead they decided to do so in the most boring BR style game which eliminates the entire Mil-Sim aspect. You can't even one tap an enemy in Frontlines I bet. Rant aside, I love this mod and Wildlands so much I'm ready to make the switch to PC just to get this. Does anyone have any specs that will run WL at Ultra?
The developer of the mod said it works with coop. I haven't tried it yet though. They answered on the Wildlands subreddit saying: "Playing coop is safe as long as both you and your friend disable the anti cheat. I've been in and out of coop during the entire development of this mod and I'm not banned. Replacing the easyanticheat dlls disables the anti cheat allowing the mod to work."
Wish there was a mod to make bodies stay longer, have actual ragdolls. You can literally kill someone, move the screen to something else, wait a minute and turn back to find the only existence that there was a dead body there is a gun and a blood pool
Might not be possible because GR Breakpoint is an always online game and has anti-cheat stuff. It might not be possible anytime soon, but I say it's inevitable, just give it a couple more years or until the next GR.
Souly the reason I never bought wildlands was no first person, AND NOW it's so old and late if I got it getting people to play would be a pain in the ass.
I remember when GR was only FPP. After it switched to third person, I fell off of GR. Always wanted to play GR but then never gave myself the green light. Old school GR is where I want my memory to stay.
Play in ghost mode with limited hud, it's permadeath, only one rifle and you can only change and mod weapons at ammo boxes. The ultimate way to experience the game.
The community has been asking for this in large demand for over 5 years now on the Ghost Recon line. They have ignored us to make another 100 person Battle Royale absolutely no one asked for. Too bad this is PC. I'm on Series X.
