This game is 11 years old and still better than a lot of modern FPS games. Battlefield 3 was phenomenal. Leave a LIKE and a comment, thanks for watching.
BF3 was fantastic! My first was actually BF1942, the very first BF game. Way back when we had dial up modems, or we just got adsl, can't quite remember. But that was so immense and truly an extraordinary experience. Coming from the fist doom and Duke nukem games, it changed everything.
The sound design in this game still is absolutely unmatched. The snappiness of bullets whizzing around, the patter of gunshots in the distance, even the whoop of a rocket flying by: amazing.
my favourite thing about this game is that the DLC's weren't some leftover maps that devs used to get some extra cash by releasing them later, they were all thought out parts of the game that you had to have, every one of them stood out and each added so much to overall experience.....
@@dnegel9546 It definitely launched in a much poorer state but I think the work DICE LA did towards the end of its life-cycle like Community maps and CTE and general refining of gameplay put it on a similar level to BF3
0:34 - Looking at that staircase just there, hit me right in the feels man. Reminising of some good memories of Rush on that map and attacking one of the M-Com objectives that used to be within a small building near there, I remember it being mayhem every time on a full server :'-)
Initially it was dubbed as “DICE iS tRyINg tO bE liKe cOd.” But those maps were my favorite. I feel like the fidelity was the highest because they weren’t so big, too.
Best BF ever in my personal and humble opinion, period. Would give anything for a faithful remake of this game with all new and improved mechanics from later BFs...
You dont want a remake they would screw it up like they currently are with the cod remakes. All's it needs is higher frame rate and slightly revamped graphics. But leave the physics alone
@@cjsnidlio9409 agree not a fan of the newer engines if they used 2042’s engine it would just feel like portal , I prefer this engine it was more realistic and it had a gritty feel , just give us this but 60fps and better resolution
@@Kasper-qr3in yea it is. It's annoying tbh, I've met players who can zip around at 5 times speed while everyone else is at like 3, and some players take much longer to kill than others. I suspect there's aimbot too XD But there's still many normal players, but the hackers/cheaters just ruin the experience overall (kinda like a horror game ngl)
Timeless classic. A BF3 Remaster and this would again be a game i’d play daily on console. It has one of the best and most fun formulas for replayability in a game.
This game was my first Battlefield game and I loved it so much that I went back and bought some of the prior games and then the ones that came out afterwards. It’s such a fun and enjoyable game to me. A little while later my cousin ending up showing me your channel and I’ve been subscribed ever since.
This game got me into PC gaming and inspired my build this year. I played this on a laptop and it was still better than any console version. I was hooked
It was when I first took someone’s tags in the beta that I knew this was MY game. I remember your bf3 day one video. An absolute beast at this game used to get banned and removed when they introduced rent a server. Ended with the knife being the weapon I had the most kills with. A lot of good memories
Your fantastic and cinematic BF3 videos back in the day is how I found your channel. I've been a fan ever since and you really helped me fall in love with Battlefield even more back then. Thank you for all the years of content and for just always being here for everyone who loves Battlefield, Jack.
This was hands down the best game ever made. I’ll never forget the first time playing strike at Karkand on bf3 the day it released. Brought me back to bf2 nostalgia on such an awesome game
For me it was rush on that map with the highway and its night time i forget the name but i remember getting a headset just for this game and the audio was so amazing to experience, laying out in a field sniping hearing the bugs buzzing and the fellow soldiers just yelling "someone get me the hell out of here!" Or "Im going to fucking die out here" ass to it and it was just amazing
I remember a round of Rush on wake Island. The attacking team and it seemed we all worked together and made our way along the island, is a round i wont ever forget.
Awesome video and amazing memories playing this with friends. And those moments when you loose control of the camera once the backstabbing animation starts ... And obviously that c4'jeep iconic! Thank you
I loved bf3 my favorite game mode was CTF just playing as a engineer using mines in the base to kill enemies and Javelin for bikes was so fun I miss those days.
Call of Duty 4 was really cool because they made those single player missions with the AC-130 and the stealth sniper mission. Then Battlefield 3 was like let's do all that stuff but make it multiplayer. That's why I loved Battlefield 3 so much.
Still my favourite FPS to date. Used to come home from school and play 2/3hrs each night and always have a full squad or 2 of mates on, such a good time
Ah this brings back some great memories. I played BC2 for years after my dad got me into it then I remember this game releasing n being so stoked for all the new expansions when they dropped after getting upgrading to premium. The fact it’s still going strong just speaks for itself
you can just see the love and care that went into the maps and the game in general. It looks soo much more gritty than what they realease nowadays.. you can really see the decline over the years with all the original devs leaving :/
Jack I've been watching your videos since BF3 and its what got me to buy the game. I've since always been a BF fan. My personal favorite is BF4 but I did still love BF3. Thanks for the vids mate.
Pc gaming is still quite new for me (about 3 months I think). I've always preferred BF3 over BF4 and so the pc version has been a delight to experience. P. S. I was already good at k&m by the time my gaming pc was build (played pc games on geforce now on xbox); so I've been able to play BF3 and other Bfs on pc pretty well!
still playing on PS3 every week, servers are still running and the community is very competitive now only +1500h players playing, and proud to be one of them, BF3 is an all time classic
Jack Do you know I was watching your channel since Oct 2011 since Battlefield 3 came out, & Still watching your videos, what an amazing long jorney i hope you have a good day always ❤❤
Absolute classic. Got a free code for this in 2013 before bf4 came out but couldn't run it for 5 years... This and your warzone videos were my spring 2020 lockdown. 👌
I still play it, and its my main FPS. Quit cs, quit other games and focused on this. Still magic as its release. Love it, hope Ill find you on a server these days :D
I really liked the somewhat lower pace in this game. Time to notice you were being shot at and with what, more time to react, to change tactics, get more feeling with each weapon. So much fun.
"They don't go very far in this game! They don't go very far in this game!!!" great vid as always. as a playstation player I really wish there was a way to go play this game again.
I still remember all the hours with friends spent in this game, especially when the close quarters dlc came out. That was such an insane change of pace when it dropped that my friends and I would play for hours on end. Good to see the game is still going strong
I've played this game since 2013 and accumulated around +1600hrs, 1586hrs for the multiplayer, 60hrs dedicated to the Campaign (only 300 hrs of BF4, 80hrs of BF1, 100hrs of BFV) because the Campaign mode deserved me playing through it at least 50 times, and I can tell you now, I've *_never_* @12:56 seen this happen, like ever! You are special my friend.
Just about everything about BF3 was peak Battlefield, gun play, maps, music, hype trailers leading up to release, even the single player campaign was memorable.
So many great memories with this game! Couldn't wait for 2011 Christmas to come so I could play this masterpiece , still my favourite BF game but i put alot more time into BF4.
For all of us who were there, let's just be thankful for how lucky we were that we got to experience Battlefield 3 during its peak. Never let those wonderful memories go ❤️
@@Mr_Mistah of course, but the player counts will never be where they once were. Less friends will be playing it as the older consoles people played it on become obsolete and possibly sold off. Basically, while the game itself is still fun, it's the inability to make more of those fun times as easily that hurts.
I dont know if it was you or something else, but a lot of the servers mostly full now.. :O I still play like few times/months since i came on PC, something like more than 1k hours and only few like 6-8 servers were still alive, but seen today there are more than 30 servers with lot players in it, what a pleasure !
