This Game Is Not THAT Hard | EAW: Remake 4.0 The Galactic EMPIRE | Episode 1 

I'll say, I really enjoy this mod. I managed to take Rakata Prime and build the Star Forge about an hour ago, and I can tell it's going to be a game changer. Anything that's a Frigate-class and under gets built instantly, and Capital Ships are built twice as fast, from what I can tell. It also greatly reduces the prices of all ships. With the Construction variant of the MTC, an ISD-1 only costs 8100 Credits. Not to mention the fact that building the Star Forge increases your pop cap by *1000!* But be warned, getting the Star Forge is a test of endurance. The battle takes a long time, and it costs 1M credits to build. So it's a long term goal to work towards. But totally worth it. Thank you for coming to my TED Talk

The ships in this mod are absolutely stunning. Empires Titan class is probably my favorite for screenshots.

Gosh its awesome seeing another person play this. Been playing this mod with another mod with playable clone wars factions and ive been getting my ass kicked 😂. I made the mistake of playing as republic hardliners. Basically the remnants of the republic navy. I had planets that were so spread out I actually had to abandon those systems and run to a more fortified sector. This game certainly makes you think a little more than the base game for sure. But man the auto resolve is brutal in this game.

I'm already enjoying this remake mod I just started my first game, it's been fun.

Feel like the consortium is stronger than rebels and empire. Rebels never attack me, consort attacks me every other month with 50 frigats+, which drain my ships and cash.

My main gripe with this mod is the AI pulls dirty tricks. Like when they only have ONE corvette or something left they'll just zoom around the map instead of retreating and it's a huge waste of time.

Weird... In my gameplay Brentaal seems to be controlled by Rebels and they have damn 2 Golan-1s and lvl 100 space station lol.

Hey man love your eaw videos they help out alot, I have a question for you though. How do you deal with the speed at which the AI expands in this mod in particular. It's insane and really hard to keep up with.

i think you got the tax thing confused...... you want to tax urban environments cause they have more ppl and temperate ones give less income

I was wondering why you auto resolve some of the invasion forces that are attacking you? Just curious since you might have a better chance at holding it out if you force the enemy to retreat. Great work though!

Ahhhhhh... Nothing quite like the thrill of early-game Republican Secutor attack + Venator spam. Fortunately, they made the fatal mistake of thinking they could take Coruscant defended by Golan II's... they got wrecked lol!

I get the regiment system helps the AI not spam one specific troop but imo it kinda takes away the joy of creating your own specific armies, but then again I’m just used to other mods currently

You doing an awesome job on explaining the mod and all, but man please turn down the volume of the background music. It's a little loud sometimes ;).

So a what not to do playthrough? You can legit do space battles easily without losing a single unit if you know what you are doing.

Ik they just released it, but the ground combat is fucking shit in the campaign. I absolutely hate this regiment system and the fact of the matter is that you will lose SO many in the ground combat because they limited it to slogging through a frontal assault with no ability to use tactics because everything moves the same fucking speed, and the god awful implementation of bombing runs and orbital bombardment. Space combat is good but we already knew that. Idk what genius thought of the shield generator system and why they thought it was not the worst conceivable solution to orbital bombardments, but I hope they get canned cause that is seriously brain damage levels of stupid to think of that idea. TLDR: ground combat sucks, and it also sucks some more.

Lol, the game is almost impossible on spice difficulty. The AI starts out with more ships, more money, more income [which of course are all the hallmarks of getting around a terribly stupid AI] and this is only exacerbated by the fact even golan ones are nearly undefeatable, because the proton torpedoes are stupidly OP. I start out with 5 planets, in ten min i have managed to build just two victory ones, and lost three planets. But the greatest tragedy? More time was seemingly spent on cheat prevention then on actually balancing the game. thrawns revenge is still better.
