@@SourceCod33 honestly that what makes him so enjoyable , it’s like he can’t help but make any situation and intense high stakes as possible . and he has been doing this since before streaming , like betting all the money he has on smash .

Yeah let’s be honest, Toast could’ve absolutely smoked Lud if he picked games he was good at like TFT or League, but he wanted to keep it close cause he’s all about the content.

@@Day-Box Its not only limited to king, its when none of your pieces can move without putting your own king in check (while your king is not currently in check)

@@scottsmith3804 Rook on h5 blocks the king from going up(a5) and top right(b5), queen on f8 blocks the king from going down(a3) and to the right(b4), pawn on c2 blocks the king from going bottom right (b3), after lud's king takes pawn on d2 toast's king has no legal moves and therefore the game is a stalemate.

@@Nnm26 high IQ is an excuse by idiots to seem superior but either way there is more to strategy games than pattern recognition. Obviously a good chess player will destroy a great logician any day of the week but there is a very strategic component in chess that is only outdated because of how much chess theory has advanced. All the strategic brainwork has been done and laid out in easy to understand chess principles any kid can go read about. However with that said, people who dont know proper theory and understand the game can still have a battle of wits on the board as long as their opponent also does not know theory. From 2 very new players the more strategic player will always win.
