Thanks so much for sharing this! I thought I had sized the bag for larger devices, but it must not be quite big enough. I'm going to increase the bag's width a bit to give some extra room. Also - if you loop the waist-belt through the loop on the bottle pouch, it won't bounce around quite as much.
I never recall them issuing me a standard issue smart water bottle in my 20 years in the military 😂😂😂. Looks like a decent little fanny pack, it’s really similar to the Mountain Smith fanny pack. I do like the customization graphic option. If I didn’t already have 10 other fanny packs, I would definitely consider this one.
Great review and really nice to see the little guy get a foot up in this world. It truly does seem to be awesome. I may have mentioned this to you in other videos but I love the area you mentioned. I used to make a pilgrimage out west each year from here in Louisiana. We generally stay around the MacKay area or Picabo. My last trip I camped for almost a month on the East Fork of the Big Lost and man what a trip that was. I fished up and down much of that area including the little creek in Telephone Draw....caught some fine little brookies there but absolultely hammered the cutts and bows in the East Fork, including some very nice sized fish. When there we usually make a run to Picabo and fish Silver Creek. I have also fished the Little Wood as well as the lower Lost in MacKay. We love the area so much, my daughter and family are presently looking for a place in the area....maybe up around Chalis. Anyway, great review.
Sadly, it snaps in the back/front and not on the side. So, I cannot use it with distance hiking along with my backpack. Totally bummed. Needs to snap on side.
Interesting observation, but I'm not sure I understand what you mean. Are you talking about the main buckle for the waist belt? Cuz it can spin around and be placed anywhere. Or are you referring to something else?
@@theoutdoorempire Being a cottage vendor should be the dream job! Lol Sigh... what a bummer, I really wanted one of his packs for PCT 2025. He had a great design, and was capable of designing much more. Wonder what he chose to do?
