ive had a revelation. kawaii future bass or whatever its called is 90s r&b but with edm sounds . if you replaced the epiano with a saw & the lead sound with a square wave this would sound like a snails house song

@@alijah4k i compose jazz; i know what non diatonic and non functional harmony is these types of harmonies can be used in incredible ways, however the harmony in this video does not make sense at all (you can actually hear that he was going for a chromatic slide and then a 251 turnaround but either due to lack of skill or otherwise didnt use remotely correct chords to accomplish this)
