Beans perfectly cinematic actual rates: 1) lower center to 20, 2) lower expo to zero, 3) now only adjust max rate (600-700 feels good to me). 👍

I got into FPV 8 months ago and I immediately decided to use actual rates because just looking at the numbers can instantly give you an intuitive sense of how the quad will move. My rates are: Pitch/Roll: 200 center, 1000 max, 0.6 expo Yaw: 200 center, 1000 max, no expo

I spent a bunch of time dialing in rates and ended up on stock actual rates 😁🤷🏼‍♂️

Swapped to Actual Rates & never looked back fly what works for you.

I found my camera angle was to steep for my style.. less angle and my freestyle flying got better

The way i have set my rates is at full defecion how much movement do I want. At 600 that will give me a 90 degree turn at 1200 that will give a 180 degree turn then how much mover you want near the middle to failry low so 150. Then the expo is how quickly you want to go from 150 to 1200 so i have it at .45.

Well, after a little week of research and scooting, I bought my first radio! And all because of you Bot (and probs FPV vegan), the FPV worm is deep in my brain now!

130-550-0.8 on all Axis with 20° camera angle works for me. 130-800- 0.9 feels similar around low and middle, but allows more snap. Usually it's 550

160, 810, 0.75 are what your betaflight rates are as actual, or as close as you're able to get.

Im a dirty thumber and in running 70/900/.65 for freestyle bando bashy stuff. Used to run faster rates with a paper thin dead zone. Gave them a little more forgiveness in the deadzone and now they feel waaaay better. Can control mattys and trippys so much better.

I'm stuck on Betaflight rates, because its what i calculated coming from my perfect Kiss rates. Its not exactly the same, but very close, and nearly indistinguishable for me. Otherwise, i like the idea of Actual rates...but i can't seem to replicate the feel i know. I took a month to explore all different crazy rates, from Evan Turner to Farouk (Farouk's rates are WILD 😅)..and now im never changing them again and i fly the same on everything from whoops to 5".

Center:250 Max: 900-1250 Expo: R&P 25-35, Y be 10 higher (Edit: tell me why it's weird if you think so) (Of course the bnfs HAD bf rates a little over a year ago but as I've built and played that's what I like in actual)

ACTUAL rates: different builds that are rate tuned to feel exactly the same. AKA numbers different, but fingers feel same 😜 My standardized, pre tuning baseline AKA simulator response: 290-800-0.52 290-800-0.52 270-420-0 Smooth build: 450-900-0.8 450-900-0.8 200-300-0 Clean build: 420-1050-0.65 420-1150-0.71 420-650-0 Primary build: 370-1050-0.65 380-1150-0.74 350-650-0 Secondary build: 490-1050-0.95 500-1150-1 470-650-0.48 Fast and sloppy build: 490-1050-0 510-1150-0.2 550-650-0 Have fun all!

Since you asked: My actual rates for freestyle now are: Center- 100, max- 650, expo-.5 Inside flying/cinematic rates: Center 90, max 360 (except 450 for yaw), expo .3 On the slower side for my freestyle rates, but i think that makes everything turn out a little more smooth.

I hate expo, makes quad feel lazy. I rather use slow rates and no expo. Try it, half your rates and 0 expo. (racing style)

I know less now about rates than before the video. Stick to tuning music. 🙏🚬
