i think everyone should agree, however we are humans and it is normal to compare. But they are both great singers, so in the end the comparing is only a matter of preferance, as we say in Norway "some like the mother and some like the daughter". doesent realy say anything about the singer just youre preferance, and that has to be legal :) I for 1 have heard both ( heard the original after i found out floor coverd it) I prefeer floor, thats not saying Lara is bad, Lara is a great singer just my preferance :)

First of I like (or better love) Floor and this is a great cover ..................... but I prefer Lara Fabian in this song. Because to me it's more emotional when Lara sings it. Still, they are both my favorite singers, Lara and Floor, just each in their own style I guess ;-)

Floor really knows how to build up a song. Adding little bits here and there, a little more power to her voice, a bit of distortion on certain key words, building up this amazing crescendo. This explosion of sound at the end. She's an absolute gift to musicality.

Amazing cover, respect. Dimash also powerfull. Differents techniques, interpretations. The original by Lara is all. Only Lara can lay the crown of an interpretation without a doubt, for those who know how to listen, masterful. Lara brings the full emotionality to her performance that Floor and Dimash don't convey as much. even if they are both really exceptional

Just wow! Big fan of both singers but I was shocked to get a message Floor had sang this song. First reaction Lara is more emotional but Floor has made a different interpretation. I now have to lay down and recover! :-)

Original of this music is from early 1900’s, Lara Fabian with some co-writers added the lyrics and made it more known. The original instrumental is beautiful. I love Lara but Floor takes this song to another level.

As always I appreciate your reactions. Honest and professional. But, I want you to know that this not a cover of Lara Fabian but an execution of the work composed by Albinoni in 1708, more than 300 years ago. Nevertheless a very nice performance. Floor is brilliant as always. You and I love her, at least as very versatile vocalist.

I checked out the original before I listened to Floors’ cover, and I actually think Floor and Lara have somewhat similar voices. Sure, they have very different stiles of singing, but when I heard the original, I already knew a song like this would be perfect for Floor before I even heard her sing it.

I know I'm late to the party, but....Floor did it again, took a popular high quality song and somehow made it better...at least for me. Great rock arrangement and she goes crazy on the vocals. Of course Lara Fabian's version is already awesome, even the original classical melody that it's based in is just gorgeous. Check out also Malmsteen guitar version.

This was something special. A challenge for you : listen to Adagio Albinoni by Hauser. So it was ment to be in 1708 and you hear it still in concerthalls and by funerals. It is very sad and that's why it is a piece for the cello.

You know Lara and Floor were born a mere 100 kilometers apart.. 'must be something in the water there'. My favourite singers, nobody can sing like them in their own domain. If there is anything Floor can't sing it will be 'Je suis Malade' (1999), because Lara ain't just singing it but is living it, hard. And because it's in French of course :)

No-one can surpass Lara's way of empathy, of experiencing and becoming whatever she sings, but Floor is incredible too. She made it her own and nails it like the pro she is. Salut à toi Johnny, à au fait bonne année à toi et tout tes proches et surtout bonne santé, je trouve qu'elle à fait une superbe interprétation c'est vrai mais Lara est un peu au dessus par sa voix plus cristaline ,plus pure,mais Floor l'a interprété d'une manière magnifique en gardant sa propre personnalité, c'est un très bon cover et je pense que Lara doit être fière d'un tel hommage . Au fait, depuis quelques réact impossible d'avoir la traduction donc je n'est compris que: 15 ou 20 % de ton speach.( c'est dur pour un français vu la vitesse ou tu parles);un grand salut du sud de la france à vous tous et à chaqu'un en particulier,andré. je te laisse le soin de traduire Ah Ah Ah

for the emotional side placement of the voice, the passion and the emotion lara more dimmash and floor as strong as they go more in the acute than really go up a notch on the pitch of the "stay" unlike lara who moreover performs it live in a legendary performance, floor has a voice that is more crystalline than powerful compared to lara fabian. be careful I'm not talking about me or anything else just about floor, fabian and dimmash (the latter also gives me little emotion when he sings even if I admire his voice)

It wasn't God who created the singer Floor and she didn't come from a different planet or heaven or anything like that. Floor created Floor Jansen, the singer. Okay, she was gifted with a talent. But, she worked to get this good. She has worked and learned, developed her skills to be like they are now. With very strong devotion. She wanted to know all techniques, wanted to learn and has so many years of experience. Music and singing is her life, her joy. So, Floor created Floor 🙃

I would give 7 out of 10 to her. She is good, but as I've been watching Lara performing since 1998, I can asure that any Lara's performance singing this song it sounds better than that. Also there is a lack of emotion here, what about look at the camera, breathing and suspense. You know that singing it's not just belting. We need colors, feelings... You gonna compare the difference when the have a chance to see Lara performing this live. Lara also wrote this song in Italian (with the same name, the Italian version is better than English, in my opinion, since she is half Italian, then she puts 101% of her emotion while singing it.) There's a vídeo on RU-vid called Lara Fabian Adadio compilation, that shows Lara's consistence and resonance since 1999 at the hardest part of the song, she even sings one higher tone sometimes, F5, not E5 😘.
