Getting rid of things I worked so hard for is by far the hardest things to do, even if they don’t fit or don’t have no use in my current lifestyle anymore I’m so attached to it. Facts!!! I agree with everything you say it’s soooo hard to let go of stuff, I still have things from middle and high school

I have always been like this, and you made me realize there is a name for it, when I looked it up a year ago, I related so much to symptoms and want to get diagnosed

Don’t be embarrassed- this is all of us honestly. I think the best thing to do which I’m in the process of doing is to give almost everything away. (It hurts) BUUUUUT.. I use to have such an issue with buying clothes and hoarding for similar reasons. I think when you grow up with nothing a lot of times we end up wanting what we didn’t have and then never wanting to give it up because we did work hard for it! This year is my minimal era. I want to focus on my baby when he comes and focus more on experiences in life rather than materials!!

I used to be the same but my motto now is if I haven’t worn in a year, get rid of it. Also i learned as I get older it’s good to want and need less, put that $ towards memories and travel or investments.

Iam an interior design in San Francisco, i mainly do interiors but my current client asked me to organize her closet and pantry because she knows iam super organized and love organizing. I wished I filmed it for my business channel for you to see how beautiful it came out and how organized it was but she didn’t want me to show it. I also had her sit on a chair whilst I went through everything before hanging it . And I went to donate everything she didn’t wa t so that she didn’t have to have the stress of dealing with it. I would fly to you and come organize your house for free 🙏🏼🙏🏼 that would be a dream 💕💕 I would love to even run a Depop account for you so that everything you don’t want I could put on there to sell for you so you would never have a pile up of anything and always space and money for new things 💕💕

Your closet is big enough that right in the middle where you have your chair you should put an island with all cabinetry on the bottom that wraps around for shoes and bags so you have more space to add shoes and bags all at the bottom of the island and maybe something on top of the island so it’s not just a flat table Would be so dope
