Why do NE players always pick Beast Master ?

@saimyintmyat9373 I think it's because of the viability. With their basic unit being ranged, Beastmasters can create a Frontline (Bear + the hero itself), Ranged (Boar) and Aerial (Eagle) while also making use of the Wisp's ability to remove mana for Purge

i think you keep disabling the BM and the opponent loses a ton of dps because the BM is in the air

Well@@biskuitZZZ Iam foreign so I dont know what is a shortcut for BM. And Iam just a viewer of a "pro-league" so I dont exactly know all the shortcuts to the pro stuffs. Would you be so kind and explain?

You have a strong army due to using three heroes with summons, while disabling part of the enemy's army, including their Blademaster, with the Druid of the Talon's Cyclone spell. Also, probably a part of the idea is that you have so much stuff the opponent wants to dispel (summons from three heroes, plus Cyclone) that they can't dispel all of it. Finally, as Grubby mentioned, he intentionally used an off-meta (i.e. currently unconvential) tactic to throw off his opponent, because they'd lack experience fighting against it.

far from being good, just from my understanding : people used to play more vs bear/dryad. Talons does magical damage which is great againt grunts (200%), add the malus armor and they become even greater. You use them for tornado to prevent overall DPS from ennemies and mostly heroes. Raiders is a good counter (75%) but then its a battle of micro, you have more tornado than them having ensnare. Talon can change to flying preventing BM or ground damage unless ensnare to finish them. SW can dispel tornado and armor malus but the cost is high, you gonna run out of mana fast. Also mean the spirit link get removed or you cant even use them, spirit link efficiency also reduced since some orc unit are flying, they do not share the damage (invul while in air). SW cant walk away low hp cause talon can damage spirit form. Tornado also reset order, you have to repoint target for focus. For a very cheap unit that doesnt give much xp than a 3/4 food unit. Its quite effective mentally from frustration and fiesta it provide while NE heroes just damage peacefully. All this said, looks very easy, but unless you are very good at micro, its probably going to end bad for average/casual gamers.

He has literally shown them on stream this time of year, for years. What a weird comment to make to begin with, but add that there would be no reason or value in staging this and I am left baffled.

How? He played insuperable, who is a challenging opponent, and is capable of giving grubby a hard time in his 2nd off race (human being his best off race)
