So...I was like you, late to GOT. At work I had to hear people whisper and speak of the episodes EVERY week. After Season 5, I decided to watch for myself. That summer I binged the 1st five seasons. I was almost done after episode 1, and again when Ned was executed, and again in Season 3 (Red wedding). But, I loved the storytelling and couldn't get enough....until THIS episode! I was like, I'm DONE frfr! I had caught up to everyone else. When Season 6 premiered, several people didn't return to watch. The only reason I did was because my group that watched TWD, also watched GOT, so I decided to watch with them. NO REGRETS! The best is yet to come. Keep watching! Love your reactions!

I love how you're cheering on Cersei during her walk of shame. GRRM does a great job humanizing his villain type characters. I despise her but nobody deserved this.

the fact that you were cheering on cersei during her walk of atonement, confirms to me that you are invested into this series and to these great characters, because if anyone would of told me that i would be cheering for cersei at the end of season 5 i would have straight died from laughing so hard, but just like you i was willing her to make it to the red keep and that's just one of the many reasons this show is so great, love your channel your reactions are amazing and look forward to going to the end with you major family... let's go!!!

Major please don't give up. I binge watched this show seasons 1-5 then read all 5 books before swearing it off because I was so pissed and devastated by this ending, I understand. This show has evoked so many emotions unlike any other ever. Once season 6 came out I recovered and continued on. Please don't give up. We've all been here, we're here with you, we understand. Please don't leave us now, it would be like losing Jon Snow all over again.

Hang in there Major, don't stop now! Jon's death was a shot to the gut, even more than Ned... but the next 3 episodes are some of the best storytelling of the whole show, and shouldn't be missed. Remember it's always darkest before the dawn, and this series has epic highs and lows.

I was so worried about your reaction to this episode, especially after episode 9. Because I had the exact same reaction! I was literally done with the show. After a year had gone by between seasons I was able to give it a go, and season 6 turned out to be my favorite season of all!

So, here goes... Although I can never re-watch this show again as a "first timer", the passion and intensity that you bring to every reaction takes me back so that I can feel the high's and low's that this show brings all over again. This is your "super power", and it's why you have the best reaction channel on RU-vid. The channel may be small now, but I am confident that you are destined for big things. The cost of your superpower, though, is that moments like the last few episodes of Season 5 are going to make you feel like shit. Trust me...the payoff is worth it. Please, please don't give up yet! Take a break if necessary, and then give it a few more episodes. If you aren't back into it after a few episodes, then it's a lost cause...but I promise you that won't happen. One of the most frequently made comments that other characters in the story- especially the books- always made about Stannis was that they respected him but didn't like him. And now at the end you fully understand why almost every other noble in Westeros seemed to feel that way. Great reaction as always.

About the Jon ending. The constant theme of GoT is that every season people crave that elusive comeuppance, every season the carrot gets dangled and then right at the last moment it all gets taken away brutally. The vile characters remain on top and you're left bitterly disappointed by a subversive ending. GoT season enders are like crack, you keep coming back for more emotional abuse. Then comes Tyrion's "ray of hope ending" last season and you think maybe this is the big turnaround. But then they drop this massive shoe right in the middle of the series. Jon's betrayal and death (for slightly different reasons) is where GRRM left off the Night's Watch saga in his last book. When this episode aired it made an ungodly amount of noise, it really was one of those viral TV moments of the 2010s. Everyone and their mother was talking about it. President Obama asked director David Nutter if Jon is really dead, that's how much of a pop culture phenomenon Jon Snow had become. This is definitely a "this time I'm done" type downer ending for the ages. But one thing's for sure, they got all the attention they wanted and some more. So Season 5 leaves us with all the main characters hitting rock bottom. But at some point there has to be some payoff, right? What if it's in the next one? Well it's GoT, they're probably just gonna hit you over the head with more frustration and sadness. But you'll have to find out...

When you talked about Cersei to pull it through, I felt that. See, I don’t like Cersei but this is one of those few scenes where I actually felt bad for her straight up.

In this book, Cersei finally gets her own POV so by the time The Walk comes, it's almost impossible not to feel empathy for her. Also, as far as the nudity, she had a body double named Rebecca, and they worked together on the same day. I read a great article about it. It was the double's first time working nude in front of a camera, and she did it in front of 500 extras!

Winter has come... but, Major, don't give up... just don't.

No matter how many times I rewatch the episode, or watch a reaction to it, Jon's death never gets any easier. I vividly remember watching it when it came out and I was in shock. The camera zoomed up on him bleeding out and then the screen went black and I remember my reflection showing me how shocked I looked. I cried for longer than I care to admit lol. Jon and Daenerys remain, to this day, my favorite characters of the series. It broke my heart watching you fall in love with his character the way we all do, knowing what was coming.

I quit the show after this episode too lmao but season 6 came out a year or two later so I had time to heal

We're here for your Major! I felt so bad at the beginning when you were taking about all the deaths Shireen etc..and knowing what was about to happen to Jon!! We nearly made it through a season finale without losing someone of epic proportions!! Jon Snows death was in my opinion the most shocking moment so far even more shocking than Neds execution!!

I remember going to work the next morning and crying several times, i felt like someone had broken up with me, I kept saying, its only a show... But deep down i knew that it was more than that.

That "For The Watch' always hits like a ton of bricks... And they left us on that cliff till the next season. Those of us watching and waiting..

Varys is known for his excellent ways of spying, he got “birds” everywhere and by that I mean EVERYWHERE. He even went as far as using different disguises himself to spy. He had control over various of different places without the realms knowledge, The Black Cells where Ned was being held before being executed is a good example. He dressed himself even as a drunk, pouring piss and alcohol on himself too look and smell distasteful. My man was really pulling all the work!

Then Bowen Marsh stood there before him, tears running down his cheeks. "For the Watch." He punched Jon in the belly. When he pulled his hand away, the dagger stayed where he had buried it. Jon fell to his knees. He found the dagger's hilt and wrenched it free. In the cold night air the wound was smoking. "Ghost," he whispered. Pain washed over him. Stick them with the pointy end. When the third dagger took him between the shoulder blades, he gave a grunt and fell face-first into the snow. He never felt the fourth knife. Only the cold …

i was dreading this episode, please stay with the show. so many good things are still going to happen in this show, yes more heartbreaks too. this show makes you really love the characters and hate the bad guys more that any other show i have ever watched. its worth continuing.

Ah Major. I'm usually going off about some piece of background lore or something but... there's been tough and emotional moments on this show before. Ned, the Red Wedding etc. when we've been along the emotional rollercoaster with you. Not to mention this season in particular with that Sansa episode, then the back-to-back rollercoasters of Hardhome, Shireen's death and now Jon's. You really take me back to my own initial first reactions watching the show.

When I get sad for Jon's murder , I rewatch the reaction compilation with the guys from Very Serious Things shooting guns like crazy while all the other reactors are sobbing and I start laughing!
