Phil is the only person to complain about having to fight "too many enemies" in a warriors game, that's literally all the fun in a spectacle fighter aside from the flashy moves and set pieces. "You notice how the room didn't fill up with monsters like last time? What the hell was that about?" You literally skipped every named officer mob on the way to the main boss then attacked it, obviously the entire army that wasn't scripted was going to come to you.

DSP's usual excuses: I can't move I can't block I can't dodge I can't see That's not what I did What am I suppose to do? No checkpoint? Instant death! The formula is always the same with every game he plays. What a whiny crybaby. I was hoping he would change and mature someday but I guess It'll never happen.

People complain that video games nowadays only hold your hand. We can see the perfect example of why it's still necessary. And needs to be boosted to work with this guy...

Just letting everyone know that TIHYDP Shadows of Mordor is in progress. (It's a long one, but I'm determined to finishing it.) It should be done by the end of this month.

The cucco thing reminds me of a.... not friend. Well, it reminds me of an enemy of mine, who, when we used to play Minecraft together, constantly complained that he could never do anything in the Nether. Why not? Because the Zombie Pigmen always killed him. Why did they kill him? Because he always attacked them. ALWAYS. And it wasn't that he didn't know they were non-hostile, either. He knew. But in his words, "I play video games to have fun and kill things. I refuse to let a game tell me I shouldn't kill things, which is why I always attack them on sight." So yeah, he was unable to do anything with a good 1/3rd or so of the game, because he steadfastly refused to behave responsibly.

When I heard that the Dynasty Warrior games were "mindless" fun, I didn't realize that it also meant they come with mindless commentary as well.

As an avid Dynasty Warriors fan and someone who while he isn't able to play ALL the Zelda games(mainly due to lack of funds), this playthrough of Phil's is just...awful. The typical misogynistic comments like always(The Great Fairy is mainly a temptress, not a slut and getting mad when Zelda and Link is kicking your ass is no excuse for randomly calling Zelda a slut), TERRIBLE tunnel vision(dear god, the number of times he could have avoid losing if he JUST PAID ATTENTION) and spamming the same damn buttons isn't bad enough, but considering he STILL played the game more like Dynasty Warriors rather than an Action level Zelda game is just absurd. Oh yeah, nice use of playing and "loving" Zelda when it took you awhile to figure out the bosses have weaknesses to the SUBWEAPONS YOU HAVE! I can keep this train flowing(not reading the instructions, thus getting your ass kicked by buffed enemies, not following instructions, thus losing the battle, attacking the Cucco the first time despite not being red, making enemies of a powerful ally, etc.) But I'm just gonna stop here: Phil, stop playing these games until you actually get better, stop FUCKING SINGING(you are absolutely terrible) and actually learn to fucking edit.

If anyone ever mods this game, the first thing they should do is make the Cucco army yell "NOW YOU'VE FUCKED UP"

Hyrule Warriors has an amazing soundtrack.... and now DSP has ruined it for me.

I see Phil continues his tradition from Devil May Cry and Metal Gear Rising of completely ignoring the lock-on button.

The sad thing about Phil's "singing" is that it's pretty obvious he has an ear for music and it seems he'd actually also have a pretty good singing voice if he didn't constantly resort to making his mocking screeching and off pitch sounds instead... Though, even if he didn't screech so much on purpose, it would still be annoying in this context, since he's not making music videos here, he's making Let's plays.

I don't think he understands what a Freudian slip is.

Why do so many Let's Players on Hyrule Warriors not notice the big L button icon over the giant enemies? It's not just Phil. Jesse Cox had that problem too. I suppose we should thank our lucky stars Phil never discovered Adventure Mode.

Why does he buy his games digitally? Did he get banned from the game stores or something? I also love how the update at the beginning gets in the way of his views/money. Here's to another game ruined by Phil... "Nintendo! I hate you! Waaaaaaaah! Stupid buggy update mechanics!"

"Instead of the fighting the boss like I'm supposed to, I gotta go do this micro management stuff that isn't fun". Alright I have two issues. One, if you don't like micro management/ handling multiple situations, you should not play a warriors game. Second, just because taking out the boss is your objective, does not mean you ignore every other keep / enemy/ ally needing help. I realize this comment changes nothing just holy crap I had to get that out.

running in the game does happen automatically but if you hold the dodge button you break into a run instantly. the game never tells you that but in the end its not that big of a deal unless you want to get somewhere 3 seconds faster.

This guy is ironically the one who convinced me to buy Hyrule Warriors. He sucks at the game, but it looked exciting. I've played it and LOVED it.

"Master race your skyward sword is swinging down." Seeing how well Phil is doing on a rather simple Dynasty Warriors game, I really would love to see him fail at Chaos Legion. Srsly, if he thinks that Hyrule Warriors was hard, Chaos Legion will probably break him. Even on normal, enemies can take off 45% of your health with just a single hit and there is a lot of enemies on screen (not as much as here though, but still). Also, enemies can and will stun-lock you to death and you can't just blindly rush through the game either, because metallic enemies are almost invincible against regular attacks. Phil wouldn't make it past Lognagaiser (which is the first boss, btw) without throwing a tantrum... ... But... I guess that's not saying much.

Just because the game says you need to defeat X doesn't mean there aren't other steps you should take before rushing straight there.

So...he sucks at dodging. And blocking. And wonders why Impa killed him as Ganondorf. Pitiful. If the enemy is buffed, you play defensively, pure and simple. It may not be "exciting" to turtle, but it'll keep you alive and it disrupts gameplay than being defeated and having to restart. And he wonders why the Hyrulean Knight was able to kill him? Does he not realize after having played Ganondorf for what, two or three fights before this (forgive me, it's been months since I've played) that Ganondorf's combos are powerful, but slow and typically have a lot of starting and ending lag? It's why you keep Ganondorf's combos short and only go with his faster techs unless you can safely pull off one of his longer/more damaging combos.

Wow. Unbelievable. Never once in all my years have I seen such a horrendous playthrough of Hyrule Warriors. Phil even manages to make Ganondorf look like a complete joke by dying to those Hylian Captains! I hope he never plays another Zelda game.

Let me say something. Hyrule Warriors is very fun, but quite easy. The reason Phil fails so much is "WE NEED HE-" "FUCK YOU I'M RUSHING THE BOSS" Oh my god I just reached the parts with Ganon. HE TRAINED TO HAVE GANON BE SUPER OVER LEVELED BUT HE STILL SUCKS!

He must felt really good in this game where his character did not get killed over and over and could not really do any combos unlike in, say, Devil May Cry.

I know this is an older video, but hell! Even I didn't have this much trouble, and I didn't know about dodging until I beat the GAME! Yes it was dumb, yes it was hard, but I did it. I question if he can understand anything basic by this point.

Jesus. Routing the 3 Bombchu takes 30 seconds, one minute tops. It's trivial. Why do I subject myself to this?
