"What the hell is a giant Yoshi?" Well, let's look it up. Yoshi = A race of peaceful, chubby dinosaurs from the Mario universe. The one featured in most games is green and white with red spines, but Yoshi come in a large variety of colors. Giant = particularly large in size. See if you can put it together, Phil.

"The thumbstick is a piece of shit." -DSP Funny, I honestly don't have a problem with the CIRCLE PAD. It's probably the second best control scheme for this game IMO, second to the Gamecube controller of course.

I got a hour and twelve minutes in before I realized this was not a documentation on 9/11. Significantly more painful to watch after that.

I watched his "Smash sunday" stream, and it was definitely TIHYDP material. His strategy consisted of spamming specials with every character. Notably, using Ness's PK Thunder on the ground and launching himself off the stage. Then complaining that Ness "sucks" because he can't jump after using his recovery move (which is true for EVERY SINGLE CHARACTER in the game). And what did he do after he saw his inane strategy didn't work? Why, he kept doing it, of course. He also pretty much repeated the same thing with Meta Knight's side-b. He really just played the game like a 12-year-old who just got their first Smash game would. Let's not forget about the usual excuses: "I'm not doing anything! This circle pad sucks! This character is terrible! This stage sucks! I would have won if I hadn't killed myself, so lucky!" Also, he kept complaining about the lag in 4 player matches, but never tried doing 1v1 (which should logically be less laggy) after just about everyone in the Stream recommended he tries it out. He eventually said in chat that he won't do it because Smash is "meant to be a party game". He's afraid of getting bodied. Top it all off with his girlfriend Pandaleech ruining the chat with disgustingly off-topic and incendiary comments and abusing her mod powers, and there you go. It was a magnificent display of classic DSP.

That "I'll face myself" opening was almost too appropriate.

The worst clips are the ones where he plays your main.

Abysmal gaming aside, this is some pretty top-notch editing. I especially like how you used the bottom corner to show instant replays whenever he fucked up big time. Which was a metric fuckton of times.

I like how someone in the chat said "If he was a Kirby player, all he would do is Down+B." and than, he did a stream on the Wii U version, where he played as Kirby, and... You guessed it! Down+B!

I swear, this guy gets memory wiped after every game he plays in the world.

If anyone is having trouble countering, try faking them out by sprinting/jabbing before you dodge. Helped me out a ton with level 9 CPUs and some of my friends.

Oh man. You have no idea... He played as Kirby online and all he did was spam down + B the whole time he played as him. I don't mean to advertise, but to avoid giving him views, I'm gonna do it. My latest video displays this quite well... Lol! In all honesty though. I'm surprised that Phil didn't make any sexist jokes towards fighting Giant Palutena or Giant Peach.

@ 5:00 Actually, a lot of people in the competitive community refer to Bowser's Flying Slam (Side B) as a 'command grab' or 'command throw'. It's common FGC terminology, lol.

I lost because of the overall completely flat stages in this game, god, why aren't there platforms appearing under me every time I fall. Whaaaaat, there's a button to jump? The game didn't tell me that, well, guess it shows Nintendo just nintenblooows, AAAH AAAH AAH AAH AAH AAH. I'm so happy I haven't seen him online when I play, nothing more annoying than that guy who spams Bowser's down b and that's it.

He got me banned on Miiverse because I was so angry with his incompetence.

He used up his wind tome as Robin in the master core fight XD. I was waiting for that to happen.

Oh my god he's terrible. I started playing Smash Bros when I was around 6, I first played the 64 version, then melee. I had 0 experience in fighting games back then and I was still better than this guy. Has this guy ever even PLAYED a video game? It REALLY doesn't seem like it, he acts so confused over everything like come on it's not that hard to comprehend

Well okay this guy is just a very bad player or he is faking it. However, it's so irritating to hear him say "I don't know what's going on!" all the time. It's so goddamn annoying. It's not just him, let's players complaining about not knowing what's going on comes of as whiny in most cases. They either don't pay attention or expect everything to be spilled out for them instead of figuring it out themself.

It's like he slaps his limp hand around on the buttons and randomly does stuff, because it seems like half the time he has no idea what he's doing.

Well, Blocking does matter if you can pull off a perfectly-timed block. Of course, given that he has the reaction time of a sloth on Xanax using Dial-up...

This is probably the most well edited TIHYDP out there. 1:15:23 was the most perfect thing I've ever seen.

If Phil found a character to stick with and learned his/her control scheme then he could've probably performed much better and maybe not resorting to blame the game for his own mistakes and use the same move quite a lot.

He's putting multiple ads on his videos now, instead of one. I think it's just the matter of time until his career collapses.

To his minor credit, it's not out of the question to call Bowser's side-B a command throw if you're familiar with Street Fighter primarily. It's what it /is/ technically.

1:10:51 It was at this moment that I realized Nintendo still has what it takes to make my day on occasion. This comment has nothing to do with Phil. I... I just loved the music from Gerudo Valley. I haven't played much Nintendo stuff since an electrical problem (with my house, mind you, not the console) fried my Gamecube years ago, and I really haven't followed much involving the evolution of Smash since Melee, but the fact that this level is in here, with the music and everything... All the hours playing Sm4sh and watching both RU-vid videos of people messing around or watching tournaments ands it's DSP's footage which finally brings me the best Fix shine I've seen in Sm4sh and it was from a cpu.

There was actually something very very obvious he could've done when dying with Robin that first time. His up+B was still intact. If he had been smart and used this move he liked to spam for days in both the bossfight and multi-man smash he would've lived.

I felt that some of the on-screen text during the video was a tad hostile (though I know it's hard NOT to be when it comes to Phil) but other than that I thought a lot of the editing decisions were pretty seamless: what with the clever use of the empty screen space for comments and video clips as well as the transition wipe. Great job and looking forward to any other future content.

It took me until he beat the game with Robin to realize he had no idea how the picture at the end works. I never thought he was that stupid to not make the connection between credits hitting the picture and the picture forming.

Ugh, watching anything DSP makes me cringe, but this.... THIS... makes me dislike DSP more. He always blames the game for his own issues, and in smash bros, if you lose, its generally your fault for miss-timing or miss-judging your opponents, that goes for CPU opponents too. Also ***** its a Circle Pad, not "Thumb Stick."
