I've only seen a few of these, DSP compilations, having never watched the fellow myself. But here, at last I could get context... it can be hard to tell if someone it playing poorly if you don't know a game and its mechanics, but here, is a game I have played and deeply respect. Now, Psychonauts is not perfect. It suffers the frustrations that any 3D platformer has, the camera is your frenemy. And the meat circus, is a good example of how not to structure a difficulty curve, difficulty cliff-face perhaps. But, the game's art is unique, the story holds well, and its environmental storytelling is inspiring. Literally telling you about a character through the way the inside of their mental realm is designed, I can't think of anouther game quite like it. Brilliant imagination, as I say, it's inspiring. Finally, I can understand just how bad at games he is. The fight with Jasper says it all... though there could be no more appropriate fight for him to get caught on.

I managed to get myself an actual ps2 copy of this game. I was so happy when I saw that among the used games, because I really wanted to play it and indeed I loved it
