You were the first van camper type vlogger i watched on here, kind of introduced me to the whole thing which I now love. Just keep doing you mate that’s what built the channel and got it to where it is just you being you. Pay no attention to anyone having passive aggressive digs on the fly about you or the van these people come and go like a piss through the night. You have built a loyal fanbase through good quality content. Big up matey !
Jesus! Didn't realise people were so judgemental, some of these comments, accent, looks etc. Keep being you Shaun, enjoyed the vid and great to see you in the sea again. See ya next week....... cheers😂
Shaun, you never actually manage to finish a van build, there are always bits to add and changes to make. That’s the beauty of building your own van. Just remember the reason you did it and the joy it’ll bring in the long run!👌👏
This is so true. It's not until you use your van that you learn all the wee tweaks that make it work better for you. From little things like a hook here and there, to full blown - I need a heated area to dry my wetsuit. I just see my van as a constant evolution.
May I offer a top tip for you sir? I count myself as a bit of a professional when it comes to having to sleep in random places (I have a sleeping condition that requires it) and I can massively recommend (if you haven't) trying to use some AirPod Pros (has to be the pros!) along with a sound generating app - e.g. sounds of rain, waves or whatever. I actually use recorded aircraft cabin noise routinely. The construction of the AirPod Pros is such that the bit in your ear is fully soft, rather than any hard stem and I personally find it very easy to fall asleep with them on in bed. Some people find the noise apps hard work, but if you can get used to it - it's a game changer. The pros also have noise cancelling of course and that can help a bit too. The whole setup is like a super power, being able to turn off the outside world.
Just started watching you videos again. Enjoyed last week’s, although slightly worrying outcome with the cable tied door. Funnily enough I was thinking that I missed your snorkelling adventures. Then I remembered it us February! BTW are you flying the mavic mini drone?!
Hi Shaun really nice to seeing you back in the water. Hopefully a bit of snorkeling will be on the way soon. Van is looking great. Keep up the good work.
Loving your content, hopefully picking up my first camper this weekend, bit of a drive(5.5 hours😮) but hopefully worth it. Love your ethos about camping in a van something I wish to follow. Keep up the brilliant work.
It's really good watching someone actually having that "light bulb" moment. I really enjoy your videos whether it's van stuff or travel stuff. Good on you for sharing
Loved this video great two days away. I did feel sick when you said the sea tasted of poo 🤢🤢🤢 you can get really ill if you swallow a lot of polluted sea water. That garage space is fantastic wish i have one like that for all my toys. Enjoy your time with the family shaun see you next week some where remote. 🫶🙏👍
Love yr videos Shaun, you get some chillaxing done and enjoy yr van. Soon be a change in the weather and everything thing seems better with a little sun and the sand between your toes 😊. You won’t please everybody that watch utube. I for one look forward to your episodes. Maxx
Your giving me a bit of inspiration to get the Transit out of its winter slumber and get on the rd around Cornwall...get myself out of hibernation 😊....keep the vlogs coming and I hope you find your quiet spot..May pop down Roskilleys Helston way....quiet place to sleep...the breakfasts and ice-cream...bootiful 😁
The sea feeds the soul. Loving the garage at the back of the van - looks so easy for access to your gear. Well done - van looks great. Thanks for sharing. x
Hi Shaun vans looking good very nautical i think you should paint your back doors White think it would finit off nicely. Luv your video's cant wait for nxt wk bit of quiet & country side ❤
Good to see you back in the sea. Appreciate you've been doing a lot and have a family now. Van looks good and looking forward to more adventure videos when you can. Enjoy all the videos no mater the content.
I felt that emotion just before you said consumed by the van build, Shaun. I miss getting in the sea, too... But I live in a landlocked county. You ain't got no excuse ;-)
Great video Shaun, just got home after a week in St Ives, had quite a few beers in Pednovla, visited Porthlevan, Praa sands, Marazion, always kept an eye out for you 😂
That was a better outcome than last weeks video Shaun, even if it was noisy. I also cant wait to get back in the sea, but living in the midlands makes it a bit difficult.
I thinks your videos are great . It's hard work working and having a young child . Nobody who,s a good parent wants to miss out on their life. It's been winter with dark evenings spring is slowly popping It's head up. Always have positivity in what you do😊 I goggled the pubs name. Buy a book and have a read and drink different to our pubs.
Ahhh.. Great to see you back in the sea Shaun 🙏😁🌊. I'm missing getting in the water too but need it to be a tad warmer out for me yet... roll on the spring 🙏🌅... Cool glasses by the way 😎👌🤗
Hi mate, great video. Only just had time to watch it as been busy, but its always enjoyable and gives me a little break from my usual mundane life. Just want to mention and say thanks for inspiring me to try and make changes to my lifestyle and enjoy life more. Really enjoy watching all the places you visit in Cornwall and the content you create is just right, easy to watch and not too long either! Cheers 🍻!!
Hello Shaun! Becky, Patty and Carolyn here in Fort Worth Texas! Love watching your videos! Has anyone told you that you look like Gerard Butler? Keep up the good work!
Mate, I'm currently away from home proper missing Kernowfornia so I've never appreciated your vids more than right now. I've seen in the comments and on your storys some of the nasty shit people keep chatting so I thought I'd just drop a quick comment to say thanks for putting in all the hard work to keep us entertained! I look forward to seeing where you are in the homeland next week 🤙🤙🤙 P.S pls organise a Love Sundays community camp somewhere that would be awesome 😎
How does your wife and kid feel about you off van camping. I lived out my Renault kangoo van for 8 years every week while working in West London, came back home on my days off work. Finally got a job near home that paid enough for the mortgage to live home full time. Winters were tuff and the fear of getting broken into was stressful. I had to pick my places carefully and come up with some great places.
Cracking video as always! Thanks for taking the time to chat at Groundswell. I've been thinking recently about what do when the sea is too rough for snorkeling.... I'm no good at surfing 😂. Then I thought what about buying a half decent bodyboard and some board fins. That way I can still enjoy being in the water.... there's always a plan B (or a plan C, D, E etc! 😀). Take care.
Hi Shaun, love watching your videos every week. Watching you has inspired me to do a van conversion myself and I have recently brought a Ford transit which is also 2017 haha!! Before I never thought it would be possible so do it all myself but I now have the confidence to give it a go and learn how to do things after watching you make your van. Keep up the amazing work 👍
The weather in Cornwall is definitely strange , each coast is so different, I’ve been to Fowey and it’s bright sunshine , get to Newquay and it’s completely different.
Folk saying your door is messy. Don't even recognise comments like that. Just enjoy your van, change things, don't change things. Do what you like. Haters gonna hate, don't let them affect you 😊
A company called INKA do some high quality fitted seat covers for vans . They are tailor fitted to your specific van. High quality at a very reasonable price 😊
I assume that the locations of the Sewage outflow pipes belonging to SW water are known. Maybe it's time for positive action by blocking it by welding a steel plate over it. What would SW water do then?
Where's that cinema at? I remember queuing for hours to watch Return of the Jedi in the pokey little cinema that was at the back of St Georges Arcade in 1983
If the water is contaminated and smells and tastes like crap it probably is, take a trip to Scotland where it's much cleaner, be careful not to get sick, I know because I swam in the filthy dirty water of a river in New Jersey, USA, I survived. Lol
I have a dumb key cut which opens the van on a key, and I tie the key on a bit of cord or bootlace and leave it round my neck, don't cut it long, just big enough to get over my head. Too long and I really feel it pressing into my chest when I paddle out on my longboard. I leave the main key padlocked into a key locker, hidden in my van. I also use a crook lock with the crook lock key also on my bit of string. Hope this helps.
I thought you'd find it hard I've burnt canddle at both ends in past, take some time out or you'll be shattered ,good to see your coping with all that you have going on,,keep it up I'll still be watching vlogs as long as your still doing them,,best regards Ian.
I got it off EBay here the link www.ebay.co.uk/itm/204595002872?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=2ut_KlBjR7K&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=ENAIpRIDRMS&var=505185543436&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
What a great company kosin are. I've got a couple of their clothing items. Brilliant service by them. #topcompany. Great video mate. Long time subscriber as you are in cornwall which is where we go every year for holiday. Great work buddy. ATB Adam 👍🏻👍🏻
I'm new to this channel and absolutely love it! I'm not sure if you've already done this, but why don't you come up to Scotland and do the NC500? You could visit the Fairy Pools, among other things.
I would love to some day. I’ve got a family though and we all both work and have a 1 year old but maybe one day if I can take a few weeks off I’d love to
@LoveSundays I totally understand, but here are some options if you ever need ideas for your next trip. Keep up the great work. I love watching your videos and look forward to your next upload. 🙏
MATE!!!!! Please tell me what pump you're using for your board? I've got wrecked lungs after Covid and mh wife has a neck issue that means even pumping our board up is impossible. I asked the seller and they did they don't recommend using a pump... but we need to. Yours looks top. Would you, could you tell us what it is?
Morning Shaun. Glad you had a good night at the film screening and met some subscribers 😊 don’t worry about not getting in the sea mate because you’ve been busy doing other things like van builds and stuff. I also guessing you sold the old van ok? Glad you had a nice time in the sea mate. 😊
Falmouth - one of my favourite towns in the UK. What pump do you use for the paddle board (no link) or did it come with the board? Do you live in Cornwall/Devon?
Yes I live in Cornwall here’s the pump link www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B06XZPBQLK/ref=cm_sw_r_as_gl_api_gl_i_RFYH8NBANFX68HW3EV6N?linkCode=ml2&tag=lovesundays0e-21
When the water tastes of poo, I think I'd be reaching for the antibiotics, rather than a coke! 🤢 I'm sure there's a joke in there about you being tired and just going through the motions, but I'll let you work that one out! 🙃😂
Now that makes a lot more sense 😀 I was think a hand plate was some kind of camping gadget for eating from a plate whilst strapped to one hand 🖐️🤣 You may tell i’m not much of an ocean goer.
Think youve gone as far as you can go with stealth van camping, not sure how you are going to move it forwards. I agree with a previous comment that you seem to be getting bored of it.
I’m not bored of it I just like being out in the middle of nowhere rather than in a town with people all around. I’d much rather visit a little village.
