Good idea about the addition of ricotta !!! I am sure your mom continues to be with you in spirit, each and every day - and especially when you replicate her Italian dishes !!! Cheers to you, M.
I made this with spicy italian sausages instead of chicken. I pre browned the sausages for three minutes before adding them to the slow cooker. Wonderful. Thank you Justine for a fantastic recipe!
This is huge hit of a recipe! Thank you🙂 Instead of the other cheeses- I used a half of a container of low fat ricotta- This is really great comfort food on a dark dreary winter day. Thank you again for your recipes that give me much needed inspiration💖
I love that she is teaching herself to cook for her family and excited to do it and share it p! I'm sure NICE cooking tips from experienced cooks would be welcome 😁Great ingredients and great for busy families or people who just struggle with the whole cooking thing.
I've got this in my crock pot now! But I added my pasta uncooked, a cup of whole milk, a half of a chopped white onion, and two handfuls of baby spinach.... I can't wait to try it!
Looks delicious! I know you like kitchen gadgets. My husband got me a wonderful birthday gift this year, a cordless KitchenAid hand mixer. I love it! When I don’t use my regular KitchenAid mixers, this is very convenient and purrs like a kitten. So nice to just use it where I want regardless of outlets. It’s almost Christmas! Just a thought for a loved one to surprise you with! Thank you Justine for the yummy recipe! ☺️🇺🇸
I absolutely LOVE easy crockpot recipes!!❤ this was looks so good!! Btw I agree anything homemade is better than Olive Garden. We ate there the other day (it had been a long time) and we definitely were not impressed.
It isn't homemade. It's jarred sauce. The spices aren't fresh. The cheeses aren't freshly shredded off the wedges. It's reheated at home with some chicken added. 😂😂🤷🏻♀️
@healthhollow7218 😊You are so right anything is better from home!! SO, THEREFORE, IF YOU MAKE IT WITH YOUR HANDS, RATHER IT BE OUT OF A JAR OR BOX, YOU MADE IT, ITS WHAT………………….? HOMEMADE………………………………..😊
@@vickialway6433oh no you don’t when I see the cooling channels that start sauces from scratch anything over like 3 ingredients joshua is out lol too much work
Justine, I can see the day, many decades from now, when 'Justine's Kitchen' is physically removed with utmost care to be placed in the Smithsonian Museum. The world will know your name. Yes!! Your approach & style is the biggest breath of fresh air in cooking since the debut of Julia Child. This is no joke, no sarcasm. *Thanks so much for all that you create & share!. You're making our world a more delicious place with each recipe you design. 💝
I took several of these types that you've done and did one with the two cans of enchilada sauce, half bock of cream cheese, sour cream, cooked broccoli and egg noodles topped with cheese. So good.
I was thinking the same thing! It was hard to watch. I think she just needed to keep the mixer submerged. She kept lifting it up and then it would splatter!
Yes they are why can’t people be nice especially when everything happening in this world Spread kindness 😊Be nice You never know what the other person is going thru in life
Not true. Make homemade sauce instead of from a jar and you'll find this meal in a Italian restaurant so I have no clue what you are talking about. Obviously you don't either
Maybe Olive Garden and none of my family calls that authentic Italian food! But your taste and if it’s pleasing to your family enjoy! Just don’t call it authentic Italian!
Before adding red peppers or anything spicy, be sure you know if your dinner guests like it. I would have to stop eating after the first bite. Also, that Kraft Parmesan would never be considered Italian cheese at an Italian home. Locatelli would be a HUGE improvement.
