The Sumo Deadlift is a great exercise to build the best side butt that you could imagine. By doing this exercise, you are activating your posterior chain and creating the best glute activation.
-Stance Depends on Height
- Most important part is the external rotation of the feet
- Get shins as close as you can to the bar without touching it
- DON’T ROUND SPINE when bending down
- Grip should be shoulder width
- Break at the hips or stick the butt out to grab the bar.
- Should feel a slight hamstring stretch
- Before you pull, sit back on the heels and lift chest up
- Take slack out of the bar
- Brace core and lift up
- Thrust hips upward
- Reset each time during reps
