I wish someone modded the game to make those lands accessible, most of the areas are modelled, but don't have collision, It would be fun to visit them even if they don't have anything

I was going to, but its a lot harder than it looks. You would have to use Lunchpack(Nintendo's proprietary engine) and they dont give out access often.

The one difference in the desert is the connection to the grasslands. In Tears of the kingdom it's a cliff, but in breath of the wild the desert has a hill that leads upward to the plateau. If you're unsure what I mean, compare the connection between the desert and the grassy plateau in totk and botw.

@@Mety333 Do you think we'll ever figure out how to get passed the second/square barrier in TOTK? In botw we could easily get past it and the inner barriers were more challenging. Now it's flipped and we can get past the first barriers and not the second. Pisses me off. I've also always questioned why the desert connects with the water. Isn't it just a beach then? The Gerudo Beach. I don't like how they remodeled the entire grassy plateau just for it to be out of bounds all the same. Hell they even changed what it looks like on the map. North of the Hebra region, the cliff that goes inward is flat on the map as to not go through the barrier, yet in game it's not flat. The map representation isn't even accurate. So wild how they developed it 😅.

Not a surprise for a map which have 7 years with no add-ons at all... TotK is the real DLC of BotW sold full price, but with no logic storyline compared to the DLC of BotW 🤣
