I think I’ve figured out the next dividend stock I'm buying in my portfolio. In this video, we'll go through the three dividend stocks currently sitting on my watchlist, and I’ll tell you which one I’m most likely going to add to my dividend stock portfolio.

I added MPW as they recently have resolved all of their problems and hospitals are not going away. Doctors need a place to doctor and the cost and permits required to build new hospitals makes competition almost non-existent.

Been buying JNJ on the dip. Last position added was FLO for my grand niece. The last 4 soon to be 5 niece/nephew have a stock just for them that I add $50 per Bday and Xmas to and drip their dividends.

I paid off my car loan with my bonus and used the remainder to help push me towards 400 shares of O. So close to my 100 a month paycheck! Idk what I want it to drip into, but this should help it build itself up

Thanks for the video Ryne. Latest adds for me are PFE at around $26, CVS at around $55 and SBUX near $75. Also, I keep adding JNJ whenever price hits ~$145-$148. Seems like a solid bottom that it occasionally hits before going back to the mid 150 range. On the watch list are Visa and Adobe.

Opened up a big position in HSY finally. Cocoa prices really hurt the stock price, but that company is good for long term in my opinion. In good times people want chocolate, in bad times people get stressed and women REALLY want chocolate. :) I kid I kid, but I think its a solid div stock

VICI is an outstanding stock to own....ripe and ready for rate cuts and until then I will continue to add. Zoetis was one I recently sold for a little gain and ROL is one I sold several months back for a little gain. They're both on my watchlist for potential dips. Good video!

honestly with reits i am leaning more towards owning multiple ones with different non overlapping property portfolios but keeping the total percentage of the overall portfolio at bay so let’s say you decided you want 5 or 10% reit exposure for cashflow through dividends then you get 5 reits each 1 to 2 percent i am not saying you should make your own 100 position reit portfolio but i don’t see harm in spreading the money across different types of real estate - also reits tend to offer the chance of doing value buy-ins more frequently than other stocks and while they usually not the greatest appreciation vehicles a save big dividend is nothing to cough at either

I simplify my REIT position in my portfolio, I own VICI and I own VNQ . I don’t want to complicate my portfolio too much. I made bold move and I started a position in LMT , I know is expensive now , I think how technology is involving with AI , I think this one is the one that will benefit must in the future.

My most recent add was Visa and it now is the 3rd biggest position, I want to roughly double what I have to make it the biggest in my portfolio. I'm still consolidating my portfolio before adding new positions. I've sold out of T, VZ, WBA and LEG, considering getting out of LOW as well. I also have VICI in my watchlist, and considering O is my only reit, I might start a position soon, I think any price below $30 is a solid entry point

Congratulations on your marriage! With the drop in SBUX I picked up 8 shares recently. Including Fundrise real estate makes up 2.78% of my total portfolio. The largest holding is O at 67 shares and is only 0.93% of my total portfolio. I plan to start adding to DLR, CCI and AMT. I try and keep the REITs in my tax deferred accounts so I am limited to how much I can add annually. I have 2 REIT ETFsin one IRA for more diversification.

As you have been adding to SCHD just remember it doesn't hold any REIT's, so I believe you could hold one or two more REIT's without over weighting in them

They’ve priced themselves out of reach for most folks. I’ll keep watching them, but I don’t see the dividend or price growth they’re known for in the next few years. People are strapped for cash, and those who aren’t go to sit down restaurants. Just my humble opinion from some guy on the internet.

@@rynewilliams telecommunications typically struggle historically, and don’t offer as good returns, and cost for infrastructure is high but wanted to develop that position to diversify my portfolio. If I can get better price I’d be more comfortable. But rev, and assets looked good, free cash flow, debt , and liabilities looked ok.l could be better. And met my short term conditions if I want to move out in a year or 2

Added to SBUx last week. Own 1/2 position in VicI. Think we will get another chance to add in low $28. Rollins is a solid stock. Like COST it is rarely cheap. Hold your nose and DCA; you’ll be glad you did.

Just put it into about 10 to 15 dividends so if one is down the other is up hopefully and don't go to balls deep in one and if your workint you wouldnt catch it if it goes down alot

Adding "new" positions isn't a high priority for me as I already have 34 different positions... But I am always looking for "replacements" for poor performers. Back in Jan I pretty much eliminated $INTC, $LEG & $OHI in favor of opening a "strong" position in $VICI and DCA'ing $CVX, $O, $PNW and nibbled at a few other positions... Have my eye on a swap in Consumer Staples.. but nothing solid... Hate to just up and sell off $WBA unless I have a profitable position to counterbalance the loss

hey man can you quickly explain the relationships between the pay out ratio and the growth rate along with the Yield Im a bit confused when It comes to how all these things lend a hand to each other

Absolutely! So the payout ratio is the percentage of a company's earnings they pay out in dividends. The amount per share the company pays in dividends divided by the current share price will give you the dividend yield. With all of that, companies have a tendency to raise their dividends every year. At least, those are the kind you want to own. The growth rate, or CAGR, is the compound annual rate they increase the dividend by. So, for example, LOW has a 5 year growth rate of about 18%, which means they've increased their dividend payments by that amount, on average, every year for the last 5 years. Hope all that makes sense.

It's just a lot easier to be bullish on the city, and the company that owns some of its most prime real estate, when you live here. All I see is busy, busy, busy - with hotel and gaming revenue continuing to climb both on the strip and downtown

Warren Buffett himself said you shouldn’t worry too much about if a stock is overvalued or not. If you’re investing in a good company and believe in the long term trajectory, it shouldn’t matter in the grand scheme of things

@@rynewilliams WM, RSG, some of the other smaller waste management companies, Copart was one I kind of stumbled upon and has been a beast, Cintas which I have had elsewhere for quite a few years now. Dirty Jobs was the first pie I made in M1 as an experiment and has turned into a collection of bangers that might not easily fit elsewhere.

My only stock that pays on the 1st, 4th, 7th, and 10th month is Illinois Toolworks, so I just bought back my shares of Franklin Resources. Yes, Realty Income shares also pay me in those months, but the dividend is only 1/3rd strength (compared to normal quarterly dividends).

I think Starbucks (SBUX), Darden Restaurants (DRI), CVS (CVS), are all at worth looking into price points since they've all had some pullbacks. Vici is a great reit, but I see what you mean but not wanting to over reit your portfolio.

Yea I definitely don't want to over-REIT, but I think it would only be a temporary thing. I could see myself only end up owning O and VICI at some point. I still think WPC and KRC are fine companies, and I think I'll see them recover (and then some) at some point

I think there's a lot to like about CME. I looked into it a while back and thought it had a lot to offer. It's a bit outside of my wheelhouse though since I don't really do anything with options or futures, so I ultimately passed on it. The financials and dividend stats look great though

Can someone please explain to me why someone would invest $24132.00 in AXP and get @275 in annual income. When $15428.00 in JNJ will be $481 dollars in annual income. What am I missing? Thank you

It’s important to look at more than just the dividend yield when comparing investments. JNJ and AXP are different companies in completely different sectors. Because of that, you could always own both of them! 😁

Hey great video! Btw outta curiosity, when you have multiple companies in your portfolio how do you decide which one you’ll invest in on a given day? I’ve been adding some of McDonald’s into my portfolio but I also don’t wanna neglect any others since I usually try to get @$300+ into a company before adding another company or adding more into another. Is it better to see maybe which one is down more during that given day or just pick at random?

Thank you! To answer your question, how I decide where to invest is based on both what seems like a good value at the time as well as which companies I want to build up. For example, right now I'm focusing on SBUX because I think it's a really good value right now and I can lower my average cost per share. Prior to this, though, I had started a position in Visa, and was focused on building out that position. At any given time, I'm only actively adding to 1-2 different companies.

@@rynewilliams yeah I was thinking if SBUX myself but idk I’m not a huge fan of the business plus like Buffett said to focus on a company you understand and even use their products so it’s like you’re supporting your own company! I figure since I always submit my buys at opening of the market it’s not easy to see who’s down that day the most since nothings moved much yet.
