Great review. Much credit to Ford for bringing a vehicle to market at reasonable prices. At least in the south front wheel drive is good enough and no need for AWD. The hybrid fuel economy is a game changer.
Nice! The Mav videos on my channel are not reviews but real life driving demos of Mavs I own. Not borrowed for a few hours from a dealer. Plus they make you stare at them while they talk

You do a great job of showing and explaining this little pickup. I have had this same truck on order since last Oct 20th. I'm getting the other blue color but otherwise the same truck w/copilot 360 and the lux pkg. Ford tells me that due to the chip problem amongst other constraints it will now be a 2023. After waiting this long i'm ok with that as long as it's before the new orders 23's.

That is what I ordered last October 9th, two days after finding out about it. Same color but without the co-pilot 360. So if you want one too, prepare yourself for a long wait. 11 months so far on the wait list for mine.

Alto Blue is pretty dark, Jim H. It looks black on cloudy days, but has a nice pop of blue when the sun hits it. Hope this helps a bit and thanks for watching!
Chris, thanks for the review. The Ford dealer here in Sandy Springs has exactly zero (0) Mavericks in stock. Same with Rangers. They have a bunch of F-150s including one Lightning. The EV truck is $84,000+ by the way.

My local Ford dealer has three used on his lot, and about three brand new. My Local Toyota dealer has 2. I sold mine 2 weeks ago. Long story short, in Northern VA people are turning them in all the time.
Good chance they're turning them in just to turn a profit. I plan on turning my 2022 XL hybrid in too. But not till my 23 XLT comes in. 40+ MPG is over double what I was getting in my Silverado and of course my new Ram is same. If I didn't need a full sized truck for pulling a trailer I'd have 2 Mavericks.
Be great if we could actually purchase one, so many people who ordered back in '21 still haven't gotten a Maverick yet. I'm still going to order one soon and cross my fingers as I sure as heck think it's a great deal!
@@Deluhsional I did, XLT hybrid, but I don't have much hope of actually getting one built over the next year. Ford just closed the ordering bank today - only open for 5 days!
The only problem with the Maverick is not only can you not get one. The few that exist dealers are marking up 7 to 10 thousand dollars. Not a deal at that price
I like it. Very simple, not over the top type of vehicle. LOL at you neighbor making her grand entrance for her cameo appearance a 9:28. At one point, it looked like she was watering both the grass and sidewalk/driveway.
They have a used 2022 xtl malverik hybrid in my town for$36900 with 3,652 miles and they also have two 2022 used lariat hybrids for $38900 and $40,900 Are these good deals or can i have them lower the price? In in clovis california. I will trade in my 2009 touring prius with 144000 miles.
Front seat would be fine, but the rear would be tight for you guys. You'll probably want a full size truck if you're putting 6+ footers in back. If you have the opportunity, the best way to know for sure is to find one to sit in, Jay. Sorry I couldn't help more, but thanks for watching!
CHRIS, The Mav IS NOT a compact truck. The Ranger & Tocoma are compact trucks & both of those are WAY bigger than the Mav. Dont you remember way back in the 80's when the Japanese trucks first hit our shores? What were they called? MINI TRUCKS. The Mav is a MINI TRUCK. !
@@jimh.412 Honda stick with it, even when people said it was not a truck...but now comes Ford and Hyundai with a fwd/awd truck and it's the hottest thing since sliced bread and no bad remarks about them not being real trucks... 🙄
