GAME: The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD

The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker is set on a group of islands in a vast sea, a departure for the series. The player controls series protagonist Link as he attempts to save his sister from the sorcerer Ganon and becomes embroiled in a struggle for the Triforce, a sacred wish-granting relic. Aided by allies including pirate captain Tetra - an incarnation of Princess Zelda - and a talking boat named the King of Red Lions, Link sails the ocean, explores islands, and traverses dungeons to acquire the power necessary to defeat Ganon. Wind, which facilitates sailing, plays a prominent role and can be controlled with a magic conductor's baton called the Wind Waker.

For those who didn't watch the latest stream, Nico is going to be trying new things out since, while his videos get good views from subscribers, his actual growth has been quite stagnant. That's why there was a Short recently, and he'll be doing more one-off type content, like compilations, to see how it helps.

I honestly wouldn't mind seeing compilations like this as sendoffs for when good series come to a close, especially from this one. I mean it when I say this let's play has been one of the best ones I've seen in a long time. Not only was it pretty funny, but the running gags, side characters and characterization are evolving, even having some actual conclusions to their arcs, like the mailbox and the fish. And Link being one of the closest things Nico has done to a "straight man" character in quite a few (as far as I can tell) is honestly refreshing. Keep up the great work, you two.

I was hoping that someone would do this. The mailbox quickly became one of my favorite NicoB voices/characters, and the fact that Nico came up with it on the spot and carried it through the whole LP is proof of his amazing improv/voice acting skills.

@@ryannewman3589 Yeah his modern style is fine. People are just not open to change. I mean, you can't expect him to do the same thing forever, he wants to expand as a creator, and be open to new things, which I'm glad he does, it lead to the creation of Meta Runner and Sunset Paradise, and the upcoming Murder Drones, which animation wise, might be his team's best work. Plus, RU-vid is stupid and doesn't like his old style, and they would would more then likely get his channel removed if not for his insane level of popularity.

I still support the theory that the mailbox has a secret identity that we dont know about, like how the red lion is the king of hyrule. They are both sentient objects made out of Red Wood. Going further both the mailbox and the Red Lion share shady connections. (The mail box selling guns and the red lion selling drugs). If the mailbox is hiding his identity who is it? Is it the owl? Is it kokichi link or seven link?
