He had the confidence of someone who took makeup classes in the 70s or 80s, then later on retired and then came out of retirement years later with just the previous knowledge 😂
he has got some seriously amazing eyeshadow skills, if he were to work on etiquette/hygiene and other basic makeup skills i think he would do amazing, especially in the drag scene
I will genuinely never understand how nearly EVERY makeup artist you see doesn’t use disposable tools… I remember as a child being told not to share nail polish or makeup because I would get other peoples bacteria, scared the hell out of me at a mere 7 years old, and these grown ass adults can’t figure this out lol
@@estefaniaboujon6830 Brushes can be cleaned, but they make disposable mascara wands and other similar tools so you don't transfer bacteria from eye to eye. It's also the norm for pro artists to put makeup from a tube onto the palette and then use a brush so that they're not transferring bacterial from areas like the lip back into the bottle, and you're never dipping a wand into the bottle and then touching a client's face.
I actually kinda liked eyelook,but the foundation ruined it for me.. I will say though: I'm glad he actually made your winged eyeliner look decent. So many "muas" always give you that weird skinny straight line with liquid liner that just stops abruptly and doesn't flare out at the end and then they insist on putting liquid liner in your waterline.

Agree. The foundation n powder just look caked on!! N I dont do lip stick so I really dont like the lips. I like the natural maybe light tan glossy lips IF I even do anything
This is actually a really fun look, this guy definitely has talent! He just needs to work on foundation matching and contouring. But everything else was pretty well done and a fun look.
He's about a decade behind the trends honestly. And he needs some practice but he didn't do awful really. I wouldn't do a bright lip with that eye makeup personally.
I stg he learned how to do eyeliner from watching Nikki Tutorials because he follows her steps exactly lol. Also doing the eyes with the stamping and minimal blending, doing the eyes first, and then going ham with the foundation/base products. This man MUST be an old school Nikki fan.
the eye makeup looks neither bad nor good, if a famous makeup youtuber created it, most people would say it looks nice and creative. no comment on the rest.😂

I'm impressed with the lips. I think he's the first of these badly rated makeup artist to actually do your lips well ! He didn't overdo them, they're a nice, symmetrical shape, and idk they just look very nice.
Looks like an eye primer he used in the beginning, Judy. That’s why you can’t see it. That being said, I’m impressed he even used an eyeshadow primer! 😂 Also, using concealer to cut the crease is pretty normal. That being said, that concealer formula looks way too oily to be used for that purpose. 😅 I think this MUA has a lot of potential, though. He definitely has some knowledge and experience, unlike others we’ve seen. Just needs to use the right colors, blend a bit better, and clean up his technique. Not too bad!
Yeah but if you look closely it looks like there is nothing on the wand or her skin. You'd expect to see it a little but it just looks completely dry. 💀
You can see a tiny bit of it sometimes on her skin before he blends it out. But, yes, that’s also a reason why you can’t see it. I never said the tube wasn’t nearly empty. Some eye primers are clear… When I put mine on, it looks like nothing on the skin. He just barely used any, and she made it seem like it should have performed like a concealer or something.
It's called a cut crease. You take a concealer over the shadow. So he actually did that part right. I kinda like the eyeshadow. It could've been really awesome with a little more experience and direction.
@@wik4983I've seen people do cut creases this way and the way you described. As long as you don't put too much product on it can look good but I agree with you. That was way too much. He aged her lids by at least 10 yrs, lol...
I don't think its a good idea to pile a few pounds of concealer and then use fluffy brush to smear product around instead of packing it in the right places. He had a vague idea of how it's done, but certainly failed to perform
He had a steady hand. Like I was impressed with the smooth strokes of the eyeliner brush. He could paint if he wanted to 🖌 The eyes scream drag show girl to me but I didn’t hate it and I would try it lol The rest of the make up was a no 😂
Have to say this is one of the best looks I’ve seen on this channel. He had interesting vision, used a lot of skill and speed and the products pop. I know you prefer plainer looks but personally I find those results boring and simple. And he wasn’t rude really, he just wanted his look to come out great. I wouldn’t call it drag queen either it is fine on a woman looking for a dramatic look. Love the eyes, the brows are neat, the lips were even and yeah the foundation could have been better but overall this deserved a better review. Well done sir 👏

I have to give him credit for his artistic ability. The colors were completely wrong but his knowledge of what he was doing was there, other than blending fully. I'd love to see this look with browns.
the eye makeup is actually so pretty with a little more technique (color placement, learning how to cut a crease properly, learning to do eyeliner style he went for properly, and knowing how to use graphic liner/detail) and blending it would be stunning!
I would loveeee to see a high rated professional make up artist recreate an eye look like this on you, because the eyes are not terrible the lines just aren’t the right shape for your eyes. PLEASEEE make this a video😍😍
Why does everyone do pinks on her? I would love to see subtle greens, browns, and golden colors to go with her eyes. And anything but pink on the lips lol
It’s actually a really good stage makeup look. I believe he did more like a stage makeup, and not thinking in a daily life kinda makeup. The foundation is literally not your skin tone, they usually make you so yellow, it’s weird. The technique was probably not perfect, but I’ve seen worse.
I'm only halfway through but this MUA is ABSOLUTELY a drag queen. Has to be. The way he is BEATING that mug literally 😂😂😂 that's a seasoned queen who is OVER it 😂🤣 that and the sort of cut crease, the eyes were OK - Though could have done with being angled upward a bit more to where he was pulling her skin - she isn't wearing a wig or wig tape HENNY 😂 But that foundation and cream contour was a 10 minute stage call look not a paid for client makeup look 😂 EDIT: Now I finished the video and the way he was like OPEN YOUR MOUTH and applied that lip colour and went "MMMMHMMM!" Absolutely 10,000% confirmed that was a drag queen MA'AM 😂🎉
So weird. It felt like he knew the techniques, like he might have had some training, but definitely didn't have the practice. It was drag queen like! I will give him props for having the most steady eyeliner application I think we're seen on one of these.
Apart from the shade of foundation i think this is a pretty look! Yes it's out there and not Judy's usual style but i love it! The lip colour is right up my alley haha ❤️
I honestly loved it. It made you look happy and fun party girl-ish. It was vibrant! I didn’t think I liked the lips but while you were outside talking it looked really good. I think he needed a better base/primer situation, less foundation, setting spray or a moisturizing finishing spray. On a scale from 0 - 10 of some other looks I’ve seen here. I give this a 10 for colors, unique eye and lip combo that only works together ❤
Am I crazy? I actually love this. Not in love with the lipstick, but otherwise looks good for dramatic eyes makeup. Just need to take the foundation down your neck if they cannot match it perfectly.
Judy.. Linda my dear.. eyeliners are actually available in marker form 😂 from a lot of brands like Nyx, Loreal, ColourPop, etc. BUT I think MRC (the one he's using) is kind of a cheaper one for beauty salons, I hope it was clean 😭 I doubt it tho, hope your eyes are safe 🤧💖

I have to ask… Judy, do you tell these “MUA’s” that you want looks like these or do they just oddly go for the most extreme colors on their own? I just cannot grasp how almost all of them go for extreme colors and looks instead of going for a more subtle/more neutral/natural glam. My jaw drops at every video I watch. How do they look at you after and think “she looks good. It looks good. I did good.?! HOW do they let you pay and walk out looking like you’re auditioning for a side show carnival. You are so patient and kind. I could not, ESPECIALLY with the incredibly unsanitary ones, they would be stopped IMMEDIATELY. Love your content though! Just baffled, to say the least. 😮❤

pretty sure in one vid she said she has skin issues and pink eye or smtn? But yeah, she tries to keep her skin as healthy as possible and as you can see takes off the makeup as soon as she can
The sponge that he used to clean the side of her eyes has to be one of the dirtiest ones ever and that's a lot considering we are on Judy's channel 🤣 I still struggle to understand with a client as young and cute as Judy how this MUAs can mess up SO MUCH 🤣🤣🤣
Hi Judy! I love your videos and just wanted to know if you’ve ever taken your own foundation with you to have the MUA use. That seems to always be the biggest issue. They rarely get your foundation color right. ❤
I always wondered that too, but to me, it would be like bringing your own food to a restaurant and paying for the entire meal. You shouldn't have to do that. All these MUAs need is foundation drops to adjust the shades a bit. But that'll never happen lol They pick one shade and go ok, this will work on all skin tones 😂
I'm very impressed this end up quite good, you can tell he has experience by how fast he did some things, this is not a daytime look, its more of a party night or photoshoot look

I got a hot pink lipstick and I was surprised by how much I love it, so I’m a little biased, but I love this lip color. The eye look isn’t too bad. I think the black line on top could have been done better. And we won’t even talk about foundation lmao
The look is not bad and it’s actually nice. A lot of people that do a cut crease don’t clean the eyelid but conceal it, so he wasn’t wrong. I think she’s being hyper critical and is over critiquing it when she gave him a highlighter as inspiration, what did you expect lol js also he wasn’t snorting he was sniffling lo
