Recently, we have talked to a lot of people who told us about their young athletes having back problems from standard ergometer rowing.
The problem is, that most people do not know how little these so called "standard rowing machines" have in common with the real rowing movement.
According to doctors we have spoken to, the movement resembles more the movement of a round back weight lifting - which is bad for a person's back.
According to our knowledge, there are scientific studies planned or in progress, which seem to support the obversvations the coaches who have contacted us have made, as well as our own observations.
