Throughout the years, I have encountered countless arguments attempting to justify doing immoral things to animals. However, in today's video I am addressing what is quite possibly the craziest and most astounding one yet. For more on non-vegan arguments, check out my latest book How to Argue With a Meat Eater (And Win Every Time) here: geni.us/howtoargue + if you’ve read the book, you can leave a review here if you feel inclined to do so (thank you!): bit.ly/reviewedsbook
@@waynemongo alright, alright... but there has to be a rational explanation for the sorry state of his hair. it's probably something other than his diet, right?
@@rondarkman. So strong for patting yourself on the back for having little empathy. May you eat much fat and protein my man, i wish you all the "good" that comes from that.
They didn't just sack that woman from the rural crime unit, it took us sabs creating a huge 50,000 sting petition and a massive protest at their head quarters before she was moved to a different department..!
The hunt saboteurs who monitor fox hunting do a fantastic. job. They get little or no help or back up from vegan influencers so well done Ed at last speaking out. I think Chris Packam is about the only one i know who actively helps. It is shocking that despite mountains of footage existing of the blatant disregard for the law, very. rarely any justice is served.
The kkk actually did say their mission was to "protect Caucasians and their culture". Of course many (bad) groups formed cause they thought they were doing good.
There are over 4,000+ Factory "Game" Farms (in just the US) that breed deer and other animals for 'hunters' to [unnecessarily] kill. -North American Deer Farmers Association
I have my own property I deer hunt every year. I don't know if the deer I harvest have come from a deer farm or if they are wild. We don't have any deer or other game farms anywhere in the state.
Please dont attack people purely on their financial status. I used to be poor and do that myself, then i got some money via hard work and realised what an idiot i was and i just wanted what they had. My bad, do better than me please.
@@rondarkman. I can at least sort of understand your constant defending of cruelty of animals that end up on your plate but fox hunting is 100% blatant unnecessary, leading to nothing but pain and distress to the animal. I'm sure even you can't condone that?
Really bizarre move on their part… why the hell would they think they’re an “ethnic minority”? Do they need to go over what those words mean again or…?
Joe Rogan had a hunter on who said something similar that hunters "needed protection". Joe agreed. Joe hunts too. Many people think hunting is ok. I think Hench Herbivore had a video on that.
@@user-gu9yq5sj7c yeah, well I pretty much expect anything coming after “Joe Rogan” to be embarrassing (to him/listeners/his guests) at best and dangerously misinformed/inciting violence at worst…
★Please stop killing animals. Stop cruelty to animals. Example: Cow, goat, camel, sheep, pig fish etc. All animals have sentient powers. They cry, feel pain, express their desire to be rescued and want to live with their family or independently. They want to live in this world. So? Why are we killing animals mercilessly? For a little food? Here is one thing to think about, we can eat vegetables, rice, corn, fruits etc as food. And it is scientifically proven that vegetarian diet is very good for health (compared to other types of diet). After becoming a vegetarian we can fully meet our daily food requirements. And we can become vegetarian only if we keep the food list properly. And if we stop killing animals, nature will open all good doors for our mind, brain, soul. Empathy will be created. Some common problems of the world like poverty, crime, torture will be solved easily. (Crime is because man is becoming heartless by killing living creatures). So please stop killing animals welfare will come and life will move forward with true bond. Stop killing animals and go vegan and save the earth.Stop killing animal will make good our this life and afterlife. kindly apply/promote this slogan for change our life for a Better movement. Animal Sacrifice: Animals Are Sentient Beings Just Like Us ★In recent years, the vegan movement has gained momentum worldwide, advocating for the ethical treatment of animals, environmental sustainability, and healthier living. One of the critical issues at the heart of this movement is the practice of animal sacrifice, which continues in various cultures and traditions. This article aims to shed light on why animal sacrifice must end and how recognizing animals as sentient beings aligns with our moral and ethical responsibilities. ★The Sentience of Animals Sentience refers to the capacity to feel, perceive, and experience subjectively. Scientific research has increasingly confirmed that animals are sentient beings, capable of experiencing pain, pleasure, fear, and joy. Mammals, birds, fish, and even some invertebrates demonstrate complex behaviors and emotions. Recognizing animal sentience is crucial in understanding why practices like animal sacrifice are morally indefensible. ★Ethical Implications The ethical argument against animal sacrifice is straightforward: if animals can suffer, then causing them harm for ritualistic purposes is unjustifiable. Philosophers and ethicists have long argued that unnecessary suffering is morally wrong, regardless of the species experiencing it. The principles of compassion and empathy should extend to all sentient beings, not just humans. ★Cultural and Religious Perspectives While animal sacrifice is rooted in various cultural and religious traditions, it is essential to acknowledge that many belief systems have evolved to embrace more humane practices. For instance, numerous Hindu and Buddhist communities have shifted towards offering symbolic substitutes like fruits and flowers. Religious reformers within these traditions advocate for compassion and non-violence, aligning with the broader vegan movement's goals. ★ Environmental and Health Considerations Beyond the ethical issues, animal sacrifice has significant environmental and health impacts. The livestock industry, which supplies animals for sacrifice, contributes to deforestation, greenhouse gas emissions, and water pollution. By reducing the demand for animal products, including those used in sacrifices, we can lessen our environmental footprint. Moreover, a vegan lifestyle is associated with numerous health benefits, such as lower risks of heart disease, obesity, and certain cancers. ★The Role of the Vegan Movement The vegan movement plays a pivotal role in raising awareness about animal sentience and promoting alternatives to animal sacrifice. Through education, advocacy, and community-building, vegans inspire others to consider the ethical implications of their choices. Petitions, protests, and social media campaigns are effective tools in mobilizing public support and pressuring policymakers to enact laws protecting animal rights. ★Conclusion Animal sacrifice is an outdated practice that fails to consider the sentience and suffering of animals. As our understanding of animal consciousness grows, so too should our moral obligations toward them. The vegan movement offers a compassionate and sustainable path forward, urging us to respect all sentient beings and end practices that cause unnecessary harm. By joining this movement and advocating for change, we can create a more just and humane world for animals and humans alike.
'Not up to outperforming a dog in this circumstance???' I don't even understand the argument there, literally saying that if something can't win a race/competition it might as well die. Shameful and idiotic
As my friend would say these people who want to exploit these animals are a book of excuses. There is never an excuse to exploit or treat animals cruelly. By eating plant-based food only it would be a win for the animals our environment and our own health❤
I've never heard of such, excuse my profanity, bullshit fuckery in all of my life. Ethnic? Where and how? The nerve and audacity. Why. Can't. We. Just. Live and let live? I may live in America, but I most definitely plan on speaking out about this situation. Let's keep pushing with education, and I'm always right behind you, Ed.
@rondarkman. No disrespect, but why do you give a fuck about what I have to say? Is it that much of an issue to the point where you had to fix your mouth and flap your gums? Educate me. I'm waitin' for that shit. Since you want to throw some hate out, I can make some time for you. Let's go.
Leave it to the UK to jail people for carrying pocket knives and saying mean things on facebook, yet do nothing about literally illegal murder of animals. What a bunch of clowns and joke of a country. Except for Ed, of course.
What an Oxymoron - "Hunting Kind". I remember the Huntscum very well ; the ones from ova 20 years ago. Back then it was the Country Side Alliance - I guess they must still be around but with the addition of this new group.
Ok, because my last comment got a few responses I am just going to clear everything up here. You can verify all this yourself: Unity Diner is not registered as a not for profit. His charity "Surge" was ALSO DENIED as a charity by the UK Charity commission. Moving Mountains is a shareholder in Unity Diner - they supply meat & dairy. Christian Honor is a meat & dairy loving Chef who's also a shareholder with Unity Diner. Shareholders need to see a return on their investment, & again, Unity Diner was denied as a not for profit. FYI - I FULLY support animal rights! Though I'm no longer Vegan, I strongly believe the way we source our animal products needs to change. Edward Guant (Winters real name) is not being honest with his followers. He's wagging his finger at everyone who isn't 100% Vegan while he's in bed with the animal abuse industry. If people are going to give money to him, then they should know everything about him.
I'm a runner and a cyclist surely that's a protective category 😂. Anyway always reminds me of what a gardener describes as a weed, it's something that the gardener says doesn't belong, not an actual plant. It reminds of a blurb I saw about "Killing in the name of conservation" tricky business with invasive non native animals, but this is native animals and quite clearly wrong
Please do not cite the law as though law is a legitimate notion. We don’t need law to be moral and law does not stop people doing the most heinous things. And anyways, the law literally legitimises mass animal abuse on a mass scale. It’s very easy to pull this to pieces without resorting to the tired right wing trope of ‘you think you’re above the law’. Well actually, I think that I AM above the law - where legal injustice is being done it’s my moral duty to BREAK the law.
Apart for the cruelty against the animals. It is absolute bullshit to suggest they are an ethnic group. Nobody can choose to which ethnic group he/she belongs.
These people are silly. They are silly. And this is the language critics should use when speaking about them publicly, because they _hate_ being mocked.
My god, they are truly like overgrown psychotic children with guns. No words for this. Thanks Ed for bringing this idiocy and barbarism to light as always.
I remember reading a story a while ago about how some fox hounds killed someones cat who was outside their own house.... instead of doing the right thing and informing the owner, they through the cats body over a garden fence, such decent people those fox hunters.......
There has been other hunters saying they were victimized and prosecuted and wanted protection. One of those hunters was on Joe Rogan and Joe supported him. That hunter was trying to say he was a good person too. Joe hunts too. Vegans are just 1% in the world. The vast majority think eating animal products and hunting are ok. There are many videos of hunting and killing animals on YT and many people think it's normal and ok. Even if some nonvegans comment that it's gruesome or terrible they still say it "needs to be done" or that they still like eating meat. Many nonvegans think vegans are prosecuting them too. Some people tried to make laws against vegans. Ron DeSantis banned lab meat. Italy tried to ban vegan children. A politician tried to ban vegans from labelling their products with meat, milk, cheese, etc.
Not sure it's possible to win ANY argument with hunters... it's a completely different moral and (often) civil liberties issue and I've never met a hunter willing to listen to anything that introduces compassion, reason, or agency into the discussion. Maybe if we cloned Ed we could raise an army of sane, well-reasoned individuals to take these people on.
Unfortunately, some hunters think hunting is "compassionate". For example, cause they think hunting is better than factory farming. Also, it doesn't make sense cause hunting is not sustainable or possible for everyone. So some people would need factory farms then if those hunters say people "need to eat meat". Happy Healthy Vegan has a video on that it would take multiple earths for everyone to eat grass fed and free ranged livestock. Google: Wild mammals: 4% of the world's mammal biomass Livestock: 62% of the world's mammal biomass Humans: 34% of the world's mammal biomass Farmed poultry: 70% of all birds on the planet Maybe you were joking about cloning, but cloning is real and unethical. Have you heard of Dolly the sheep who was a clone? She died soon cause cloning messed up her health badly. With cloning, they also experiment on animals and force animals to be pregnant to carry the clones.
My family and I actually quit hunting a few years ago. We have a small vegan community in our town and they would get their friends from big cities and go out to sabotage deer hunts. They wouldn't wear blaze orange when walking through the woods yelling and screaming. One day a hunter saw a deer and shot it but he didn't realize there was a vegan activist out there and the slug went through the deer and he accidentally shot the vegan activist in the process. That Hunter was the only one who was supposed to have been on the property. Plus we had vegans on my property and sabotaged our hunts. That was before that accident. So now we stick to another family tradition. We go to a cousin's factory beef farm and buy a few head of cattle from them and we process them. We also go to a friend's factory pig farm and get a couple pigs from him and we process them.
I am from America, and knew fox hunting was an issue over there in the UK but I didnt realize how bad it was. Honestly, there is Americans with the same sort of mindset when it comes to hunting/animals and they make me sick. Thank you for making this video. Keep fighting for what it right in the name of those who don't have a voice💪❤
"Ethical hunt" is abviously an oxymoron. 1984 was 40 years ago, right ? Yes, I mean the Orwell story with the misappropriated language to restrict the limits of thought, and to prevent the conceptualization of a criticism, even in thought. Orwell were definitly not a vegan, but at least right on the how this horrible things can be seen as normal by minipulate the language to manipulate the mind. Such a crazy world. But I don't think that is the most ridiculous argument I have heard, there is the "plant are suffering" crap argument, while most of plants are killed to produce meat and cie, and it is as logic as telling the mole has the same keen eyesight as an eagle. Or all those "my god allow that thing. They have been created for that we can cut their throat" ... is their god the devil, asking them for massive ritual of kill and pain, justified by a derisory selfish pleasure ? Wtf ? Or the classic "we've always done it like this" like this is a good justification for crimes, etc... There are a lot of bad arguments, it's just like as a smoker arguing to keep smoking : a blood and flesh eater argue to keep taking is addictive dose, no matter how stupid that is, the addiction is stronger than logic.
This behavior could be classified as ‘extremely’ dangerous, translating thoughts into potential actions. Displaying such a skewed sense of sapience raises serious questions about the mental capacity of these hunters. It warrants an investigation into their mental health, as they seem determined to destroy life on a whim.
Whenever you are a vegan the nonsense from other people you have to deal with increases exponentially. The lengths people will go to defend their actions of abusing animals is actually crazy.
Deer are being bred in captivity to be let out for hunters to kill. And the hunters still claim, that they're actually protecting the deer population by only killing the weak animals. Like breeding deer in captivity also pheasant are bred for hunters to kill. We live in a world of greed and arrogance. Sickening!
