Today we are taking a look at the newest pokemon emerald rom hack pokemon ROWE it's one of the coolest games iv'e ever seen because it features almost everything up to pokemon sword and shield. And on top of that it's also OPEN WORLD! So i wanted to see what it was like to play it backwards!

I always did think it would make more sense for gym trainers to have different teams for different levels of challengers. "Okay lemme see your badges... 3 so far huh? Lemme grab my 4th badge team!"

Yeah i love that detail in the short anime of Pokémon Origins. Brock pick a specific team of 1 badge, super cool detail that expanded the lore of how the Gym system works.

In the manga Pokémon Adventure it always worked like this. They also offer other good lore options, like Pokémon not saying their names but actually doing animal noises. I recommend checking out the first few volumes. :)

Wish Scarlet and Violet took notes so that Grusha has a Cetoddle, Snom and Swablu on his team instead of a powerful Cetitan, Frosmoth and Altaria if you battle him first.

Alola as an open world experience would be wild. Tyrantrum is my favorite fossil, though Cradilly and Aerodactyl are tied for close seconds. I'd like more Unbound content; the 2.0 update and above really polished off the game with its wave of updates and reworks.

If you do Norman as the first gym on hard mode, that Drampa is a freaking menace. It has 85 base power dragon pulse at level 18 lol.

I really wish that they added this in an actual Gamefreak Pokemon game; the ability to pick where your "spawn point" is and going through the region the way you want with Gym Leaders being built around how many Badges you had would be so damn kickass.

21:28 here's why, already fairly defensive with an eviolite and the no guard ability to use strong attacks that have a higher chance of missing, I think it was used in gen 6 competitive Pokemon for a bit

Pokemon R.O.W.E. is clearly an incredible ROM hack, and I'm hoping to get to play it someday. Still, I think the whole "open world" concept hasn't quite been fully realized. I'm sure most people don't care about this, but the utter lack of activity from Team Aqua and Team Magma, the lack of interest from the mother and Professor Birch, Steven being basically nonexistent, it makes the world appear very hollow. Fortunately, that can be improved upon in later versions.

Agreed. I think people think of GTA as open world instead of Red Dead Redemption 2. Being able to go where you want doesn't make it an open world game, its just a game without a forced narrative. Having an active world that responds to the player and feels alive is what makes something open world.

small tip for Audino training (route 120, dexnav): fill your party with a single pokemon you wish to train, make it hold a lucky egg and 5 Audinos with Lucky Boost, you'll get a whopping ~20k for lv60 audinos

For all newbies, start in fortree so you can grind audino, i randomized mine and got dratini but chose your team however you want

You can change the bike by opening the menu and pressing "L" if you're already riding the bike. If you're not, you'll just have to do it again, as doing this brings out the acro bike by default.

Pokemon scarlet violet are open world! It was confirmed in the description of the game and in a tweet from the official pokemon account saying you can take on gyms in any order! It's gonna be so cool

There is actually a Pokemon Crystal ROM Hack named Pokemon Crystal Clear that is totally open world and has even following pokemon. At least 21 different starter and even a character creator.
