Please stop telling them now. Let the people in the UK keep taking pictures. Easy to convert. You get 35k in pounds, in Ausy you get about 125k (Ausy), if you convert that that is about 65k in pounds.
@Shuga001 most people think going abroad is about taking pictures and showing off. Countries where you can low key make mad money. Australia is the oga patapata of them all
UK nurses do not get paid more than US nurses. I just returned from visiting a family member in the US, and they are much better off in the US. Their hospitals are also newer, like 10 years old. I don't know of a new hospital built in the last 10-20yrs. Correct me if I am wrong.
@@nursebeckyada USA definitely in terms of salary and if you work in a union hospital the ratios are mostly enforced. I am not sure about Australia,but if you are willing to work,the field is ripe in the USA.

Hi! I have an experience in Anaesthesia. Currently working in the Theatres ( UK, London) at band 6 position fetching up to 3500 GBP per month, it means ($7000), have 1.6 years of UK experience and 5.8 years of Indian experience. I have been offered a job in Australia in Theatres too. They offered me a starting annual salary of $89200 (45.02 $ per hour) before tax. Should I accept this offer or ask for more? Please Guide me. Aside searching for an employer to sponsor you I will encourage people to look into 189 visa it’s also a permanent visa and recently if you are a nurse and your point is 65 you can get an invite but just make sure you have got your registration here in Australia.
Yes, I agree. I’m coming from the US and I received my 190 PR visa for Victoria. I personally wouldn’t go to Australia on a temporary visa but everyone and their situation is different.
Just a slight correction. Maternity leave is quite varied depending on who you work for. The government for example.g (WA) will give you 14 weeks paid leave and most nurses will take it at half pay which is 28 weeks and the government pays you I think 20-22 weeks which is what makes up your 1 year. Usually you’ll have to use some of your annual leave as well. Now we are entitled to take a second year but this is usually unpaid.
Australia is similar to Jamaica, we use RN 1-8 as well. We also have enrolled nurses which would be equivalent to the licensed practical nurse in the US. And we mainly do 8 hour shifts here and we get a uniform allowance. This video was so informative. No healthcare assistants is scary though lol.
Definitely Australia pays more and i think Australia has the highest paying jobs apart from the cost of living. I moved from New Zealand to Australia because of the money and Australia has many penalty rates like on Saturday you get paid time and half, on Sunday it's double the amount. Night shift 15%-17.5% more, afternoon shifts 12%-15% more. Salary sacrifice is available with not for profit organisations. The only major challenge for me here is racism.
What!!!! Please your information about maternity leave is wrong too. Please if you don't know the answers to this, just say it instead of giving wrong info. Paid maternity leave from govt is for 20 weeks. Also not every organisation pay for maternity leave, it depends on each org.

A commenter up top said that Australia has penalty rates: On Saturday night ; nurses make time and a half and on Sunday night:it's double the amount. Night shift nurses make :15 to 17.5% or on the afternoon shift:12-15%

Car are definitely cheaper in the UK. I think it’s because of the right hand driving. There are not a lot of people shipping cars from the UK so the demand is low.
NHS doesn't pay 1yr full pay for sick leave. NHS pays 1month full pay and 1 month half pay if you've worked up to a year, 2months paid and 2months unpaid for 2 years, 4months paid and 4months unpaid for 3years service; 4th &5th year of service is 5months full pay and 5months unpaid, after 5years of service its 6moths full pay and 6 months half pay. There's no whole year of fully paid sick leave in UK. Highest is 6months full payment and 6 months half.
Fradrag, in Denmark. It is a non taxable amount that is removed from your brutto salary before taxes are withdrawn. This is the system in Denmark for every salary earner and done monthly. Here they have two tax cards- A and B. The fradrag is withdrawn only from the A card salary and the tax is not as high as the B card. The B card is for any other secondary job you might decide to have. The tax withdrawn from the B is much high.
