I have noticed a young mare in the group of boys. She was restless that day and I caught a glimpse with a flip of her tail. She was very beautiful. A bit more refined than the fellows. Congratulations!

Ah this is the lovely Guard who will always have a chat to people, especially the seniors & Veterans. He was firm but didn't yell, he just repeated himself and gestured with his hand in case they didn't understand.

There are so many people from different countries who seem very afraid of the horses, but so excited to see them. They probably have no knowledge of the do’s & don’ts around horses. I can’t stand all the people touching the horse’s nose & face bc of what might be on their hands, but most of the horses seem to like some petting.It’s amazing how they tolerate all the noises & smells & sudden movements. High praise to the guards & horses!!!

True. I tutored English to migrants and refugees. Many were scared stiff of dogs and had never seen a horse live. mind you were afraid of police with guns when they first saw them.

I never tire of watching your videos. I admire the UK Royal Guard more and more. They are magnificent riders and have a lot of patience. I love horses and used to ride them but they must get so fed up of strangers just walking up and petting and hugging them without asking their human for permission first. I find that to be a bit thoughtless and disrespectful. I wouldn't do it.

Just love this Guard also there's one in the blues and Royals they have my upmost respect like all the others but P... these Guards off and my days they will let you know. Never forget Lee Rigby. These Guardsmen are serious people. And they need to be. Tourists are simply over-weight, waddling daft rabbits with i-phones strapped to their hands, and ugly tattoos inked into their arms, legs, hands (other parts), and, occasionally, faces. And then there are the Karens (and Kevins). They can afford to be utterly irresponsible. When terror strikes, who will they turn to? Each other?

@Teresa Baker no problem Depending the horse was trained, there are movements from t the reins or pressure from the riders knees. When I was riding years ago. I would I would verbally cue my horse just by saying back back.

@holiday0191 . It's not a viewing , they are soldiers on guard duty at Horseguards Parade . The first duty starts at 11am then each pair of Troopers and horse spend 1 hour in the box then replaced by another . Last duty ends at 4pm then they have inspection .

You know what have learned. There is no way I can ever go there. People have no respect and it's not their horse so don't touch it. Common sense.. Too many people getting to close the the horses at one time. Not good for horses not safe for people. Then the dumb people blame the horse or the kings guard. They need to look at them self. If I went there I would be in jail. I couldn't stand by and not say anything.

That girl doesn't understand the language being spoken to her. So therefore yes she is ignorant. Ignorance is just not understanding a language barrier or lack of knowledge. If you are referring to the Japanese tourists, I've noticed that the young females behavior is kinda strange. They try to act cute while posing with the horses. Did you see the one where the girl stuck her fingers in the horses mouth and he wouldn't let go? I don't get it.

9:03 this guard is keeping a very tight rein. There is no reason why he should. The horse is trying to get out of it because of having 2 horrendous bits in his mouth. Urgh. Change the bits!!!!! I bet they would stand quieter without them.
