I’m glad you mentioned the learning curve on the phytosurgence bronzer. For anyone who’s curious: I regret the phytosurgence because it’s actually a huge pain in the ass to work with. It took ages for me to even feel like I could get some on my brush. You really need to be committed to make it work. Hate to speak badly of a cool indie brand, but. The brush they sell specifically for the bronzer was also not good.
It would be super cool if you did a cream concealer roundup and a cream foundation roundup (maybe face swatches??) to compare coverage/finish/hydration etc!
Kackie I love this style video. You are able to describe look, texture, smell, wear etc in ways I don’t ever see and is absolutely perfect! Hope you definitely keep have them.
Another important comparison re:the concealers is that the T28 has some gaps in their light shade range. I fall squarely in between two of their shades and I’ve seen other people say the same. Givenchy has a more evenly spaced range, I think! And it doesn’t skew yellow like Kosas
Perhaps Im one of the few people that do not like bronzers. I find the MbM skin enhancer to be PERFECT for who just wants a slight warmth/dimension to the face but without looking fake, or oddly brown/orangey; specially on fair cool undertone folks, like me. It is subtle, and I love it!
I was a ride or die for the Kosas concealer, but every single tube went off so quickly that it annoyed me. Givenchy is perfection. And I kinda think the color options are better.
I wanted to love the Givenchy concealer because I don’t use foundation but rather just spot conceal my face and it is a better bang for your buck but I cant seem to find a shade to match me. One is too light, the next up too dark. And the Kosas just sits better on my skin period. I go through the kosas concealer so quickly i guess it doesnt have time to go bad. I have never had issues with any tube. I just wish they added a cool undertone to the 3 level shade range. That would be ideal and I wouldn’t need to keep trying other concealers hoping for a better shade match. The formula for my skin is perfection.
The phytosurgence cream bronzer is the best bronzer I’ve tried - hands down. And I’ve tried over 40 varieties of cream bronzer. It is EXTREMELY stiff, and I suggest using a brush that can put up with that. I almost feel bad for my brush it’s so stiff, but once you get over that, it’s magic. They are coming out with a brush for it and I’ll definitely be grabbing it / but man…. The undertones are PERFECTION ! If you are fair skinned, this is the bronzer for you. As I’m sure it is for deeper skin tones. It does NOT turn orange. Shade 02 is the most beautiful rosy bronze. It’s so natural looking. Can be worn sheer or built up to opacity - I tend to go heavy handed with it. It can go on top of powder if I need to reinforce it. Love it so much! I even had delivery issues and they IMMEDIATELY sent me another one out - this was a usps issue, not the brand, AT ALL. Just want to let the people know - it’s AMAZING. Definitely gonna pick up the 01 golden shade soon ❤
I missed for this submission, but for next round, I’d like to know this or that for Salt NY Sneaky Balm vs MOB Beauty Blurring Ceramide Cream Foundation. TY!
I love the YSL candy glaze and I think it smells amazing. The scent is mango which I find delicious, but I know that mangoes are a common allergy. I saw a lot of reviews on Sephora from people who got a rash around their lips, which I would assume is from the fragrance. Just a heads up!
Thank you for explaining why sometimes I love the Chanel Sublimage foundation and sometimes it just doesn’t work. So helpful!!! All of these comparisons were helpful
To each their own 😊 it's funny how preferences and performance differ so much. I love the YSL candy glaze in Cacao No Boundary, and now I need scenic brown and showcasing nude 💕 I have 4 Armani blushes and 5 Gucci blushes. I had to return the shimmery pink Armani, it was just like nars orgasm on me (glitter without any color payoff), but I do love the shade 40 mania (deep coral red). I also LOVE the 3 newer shades of Gucci though, the true pink, intense plum, and the soft red... they're definitely more intense than the previous Gucci blushes.
I’m definitely going to go back to the playlist! I too love being reminded of my favorites that I forgot about bc I was all up in my shiny new makeup. Then I get to do a fun little “shop my stash” episode (in my head) rediscovering all of my old beauty flames. Saves me hella dollhairs too - bonus!
Yayyyy I needed this concealer comparison! I would not guess that the Gyvenchy has less coverage! But I LOVE knowing that the tower 28 does not need powdering... that's what I need!😅
the phytosurgence bronzer is still on my wishlist. i’m fkn ADDICTED to the ysl candy glazes. i have 02 and 14, and i want 15 showcasing nude soooo badly, but i’m going to wait for the sephora sale. omg, those boots are DOPE AF!!! i loveeee your nail color!!! 🥰🥰🥰
For the first question, maybe they wanted the actual Mario bronzer comparison rather than the skin perfector.? I love the skin enhancer but I haven't tried his bronzer stick.
I find the hourglass phantom glossy balm more slippy compared to the ysl candy glaze. Ysl stays on my lips longer but love the color range of hourglass more
Kackie, you introduced me to the Typology foundation and I love it so much. I'm older, and everything else except the water tint Chanel one looks cakey on me. I actually often wear them together. Typology has more coverage. I've tried Sisley, Cdp, Chantecaille cushion everything looks like paste. I heard about both of those products from you, the Typology and the Chanel, and I live in them. Anyway, thank you!
Thank you for the givenchy recommendation. I love using it on days where I want to put on makeup but not spend that much time in the morning. I always feel pretty and put together. Totally agree on the Danessa skin tint as well. I have oily skin and when I use the balm powered with the Danessa skin tint I look well rested and hydrated.
Super helpful video for both the concealer and the talk on the phytosurgence bronzer/eyeshadows. I know what I'm getting (Tower 28 concealer) and things I'm not.
I absolutely love this or that videos. My first thought to compare products is Salt New York's Cocoa lip and cheek vs Phytosurgence's Exothermic blush. I think the color comparison would be interesting, but I want both lol
I hate the Givenchy concealer under my eyes - it's too thick and always creases - but LOVE using it as a foundation! I've never needed to powder it either, it dries down to almost transfer-proof on my combo skin. I'm glad you get so much product, even though I use very little of it to cover my whole face.
@@chaosbecomesher With a brush! Haven't tried it with a sponge, so I don't know how that would work, but then I tend to not like sponges in general. I just apply it directly on my face with the doefoot, working in sections, not using too much product, and blend out with a moderately dense foundation brush. Hope it works for you, too! ❤
This is a stupid question but I just can't figure it out after watching a ton of videos, objectively speaking what is the coverage of the Prada Foundation? Is it sheer, medium? I want it but not if its got the coverage of a tinted moisturizer.
Kackie is there an ultra hydrating foundation like the channel for crazy dry skin that doesn’t test on animals? I’m enjoying the Kosas but need even more skin care hydration goodness.
All 3 of the Kosas powders I’ve gone through have broken 😭 I’m waiting for something to beat it so I don’t have to keep holding mine together with a hair tie, but that day has yet to come…
I am exceedingly gentle with anything I have, I've never cracked a phone screen, had any blush or eyeshadow break on me, etc etc. Most of my makeup never leaves my vanity besides lip products. I bought 1 kosas powder and it broke and will never snap shut ever again. Because I don't travel with it I guess it's not really hindering my life in any way but still- clearly this is a flaw with the component design! I don't know that I'd repurchase until it's fixed which is a shame because I love their powder! If it's this widespread of a problem, it really can't be user error.
Mine broke too the concealer went off. Done . I use Christian Dior, Charlotte, old Dior powder no powder just for purse hear Lawless is a great compact
I feel like the Natasha Denona formulas have changed. I felt like the mattes in the biba palette were really stampy and tough to work with. I have no trouble with the mattes in the glam and I need a nude palette. Those are my two favorite pallets in my collection.
See I thought I saw videos saying the ND I need a nude was a big improvement compared to her older eyeshadow formula, but maybe I am mistaken. I haven’t tried it.
I’m sorry, but how can someone not see that the YSL lippie is a yellow based brown and the About Face lip is literally almost a plum? I live for your color breakdowns BTW. I need you to put makeup swatches all over your precious face for my amusement. And , yes! I am an Aries! With a Scorpio moon and rising sign. 😊❤
Yeah I agree that they swatch wildly differently! And for me, the yellow brown would be completely unwearable, while the other one might be doable... Maybe.
So, you cannot buy the Armani shade 10 in the US anymore. I may have found the shade on Harrod’s and paid the $30 shipping…🙊…No regrets. It’s beautiful! 😍
i could be totally wrong but i always thought desaturated meant that it had grey and less color and muted was just less color with out grey tones if that makes any sense? like one would be a grey blue and one would be light blue for example. i think functionally its the same though in make up maybe? /shrug
@@coolcat020 so for example would desaturated be like a mauve and muted like a pastel pink (“light pink” sort of?”) Or is it a puppy vs dog situation and desaturated means +grey and desaturated means +either black, white, or some grey between the two?
@@sea_g0atmauve is muted bc it has grey in the purple, whereas lavender would be purple + white. saturation is more about colour intensity i believe but i’m not an artist or expert
I always see the color difference you see so I guess I have extra cones in my eyes. Considering my vision sucks at least they are doing something positive.
How do I choose a foundation color with Roseacia? Do I look at my normal skin color that are more on my forehead and sides of my face or the Dark pink of my Roseacia? I also need something light weight as I am 69 and most make me look a lot older.
go with the color that is without the redness! i use my neck or chest area instead of face and i love me a good green color corrector (im fair skinned and i like the Exa one from Credo, has great desaturated/grey tones) good luck!
Idk I just don’t like the Prada foundation. I don’t feel like it looks any better than some of the drugstore foundations I have. Especially for the crazy high price tag!
Perhaps it was the solar eclipse, I could see right away you weren’t feeling 💯 you speak slower when you’re recovering from or have a migraine coming on (and the long blinks). Hope it passes and you’re feeling better soon! Can you do a suggestion list for the upcoming Sephora sale? You’re my influencer!
Man it would be cool if I got what I paid for from Finding Ferdinand. For your collab…. When all your friends and co-influencers got them in advance to hype them up, for only the paying customers to get bs Instagram updates about shipping delays…. TWICE. Honestly I really respected this channel until this hot mess with FF. Bought all the blush shades only to be without product for months.
