Oh my god this orb looks so fun, why havent I tried it yet?! Also just a note for the editors, the relic Axe Me Anything got changed this patch to where instead of dealing full damage to resistances, it instead does double damage, treating them as weaknesses. Love the peglin content as always, cant wait yo see what y'all do next!

They recently changed how the block pegs (like in the minotaur elite map) work so that sliding feels more consistent and it absolutely shows even with a splatorb messing with peg physics. That elite went from one of my least favorite in the forest to actually really enjoyable so quick, lol.

Oh! Having played the update, I've actually gotten use outta the IOU before! Just gonna put it under a read more thing to not spoil folks who don't wanna be spoiled: If you meet up with the gambler again in another random event, he gives you a return on your investment, somewhere around 3x as much money as you put in. I don't know if it has any hidden effects besides simply giving you a return on your investment, though.

19:50 Arccentuate is an orb that grants 1 Muscircle when fired, but deals 4 damage to the player when fired.

i can already imagine a build. the new multiball orb, summoning circle, matryorbshka, matryoshka shell, ambidextionary, and some base/crit damage boosts to mitigate the damage reduction from shell. this is the ultimate multiball build

IOU only works if you meet up with the Gamble Peglin a 2nd time, which happens rarely. If you invest the first encounter you get a giant return on the second encounter. It’s about as likely as delivering the egg to Peglin Chef, but its not impossible

Upgrading the Opposite Rearction seems to only really make it harder to use… the one time that an orb doesn’t have updates purely for damage:/

Tyler: doesn't like reforbisher, so doesn't use it at the beginning of fights when it's most useful. Also Tyler: doesn't use reforbisher when it's most useful, so it ends up not being very useful, and he ends up not liking it.

Islands of insight is amazing

It's very specific but that axe me anything pop up was really good editing, a lot of the times the pop ups are like cool for newer viewer/players or returning after a while, but this is really nice because you recognise relics and descriptions but just the name often isn't enough to know what tyler means. Good job to the editor that does the pop ups (i think it's Frazz, might be ben though).

3:55 - it's because it saved your mouse position and since the force is doubled it'll fall less. so yeah you can actually aim in 2 different positions with that ball that adds a lot of complexity

One really good game is "Archaica: The Path of Light". It is about changing the direction of a light beam with mirrors and the puzzles are really creative. I'd love it if you gave it a try.

Upgraded opposite rearction seems like it could present some interesting strategy for sealed conviction.

At 3:58 the shot is different because of the 2X speed. It's firing the same direction, but it doesn't arc downward as much because it's faster. (I'm commenting before watching the rest of the video. It's likely that this is realized at a later point)

Just a note for Frazzz and Ben Ranger (the editors of these videos) Axe's relic description and effect changed to "Enemy resistances (0.5x) become weaknesses instead (2x)."

Particle orbcelerator: Every 3/2/1 pegs hit increases its speed (possibly double?) Disappears after it stays at terminal velocity for a certain length of time

Im pretty sure the increased force is equivalent to decreased gravity, as it makes the force of gravity less significant when compared to bounces.

It's a very cool new orb! Doesn't feel too ridiculously strong like some others, but the force multiplier could be interesting in some cases (lasorb maybe?) I still think this game could use a different sort of multiball though- where each orb is fired separately, rather than merging their damage into one shot. Would give a sort of soft overwhammer effect, and also could synergise with on-hit effects. Plus it would just be plain fun. Always happy to see more of this game!

27:40 Actually, it wasn’t the Puppet that blocked the Super Sapper’s attack. Do you see those blue slime pegs you created? That is ‘damage reduction’ slime from the new Balleviation orb. Each instance of ‘reduction slime’ decrease damage taken by 1 (doesn’t work mid flight). Then it goes away at the start of your next shot. Pretty hard to use, but has some uses… Particularly when you have Rigged Bombs. (Yes, it can reduce the self-damage from Rigged Bombs!)

Been playing peglin lately because of you and had 2 amazing combos The Bob-orb (turns pegs into bombs), short fuse(bombs explode first hit) and gift that keeps on giving (durable pegs) This one shot the wall boss, and had an almost game crashing amount of bombs

The new benefit of having this different schedule is that I can watch these videos with my daughter now :).

I don't think I saw anyone else mention it yet but I could have missed it. at 19:16 the info card for the Axe Me Anything relic shows the old effect. it got buffed to where it changes resistances into weaknesses. The info cards are super helpful and before the cards were a thing I often had to pause and rewind to see what Tyler was getting. So props to the editors for putting in the time to put all the info on screen.

Hey Tyler! Love the Peglin content, I have some advice for you. During your off screen time or even while recording. Get used to firing the after battle shoot in the default straight down position. This will help you navigate if you are wanting to get left some shots will always go that way depending on layout

Its kind of sad, that I cant just wake up in the morning anymore and see an Aliensrock video right from the getgo. But then again, now there is smth to watch in the afternoon/evening.

I still stand by my suggestion of suporbposition, you choose two directions to fire and two quantum orbs fire in those directions, the damage number is whichever one gets more. Upgrades increase the number of quantum orbs and there could even be a boss relic that gives that to all orbs in exchange for a stat debuff or losing a refresh or something

The 2x force means that, while the starting angle is the same, since there is more force, it takes a further distance to drop the same distance. Projectile physics.
