Holger plays for Chris Botti. He is basically the keys player for the most popular smooth jazz trumpet player in the world. I never heard of him until I attended a Chris Botti show my wife and I happened to go to on a vacation in Phoenix. He’s equally good at fast or slow playing and that whole show was flawless. Thanks for showing this video!

Guitar player here. I’m absolutely fascinated by harmony like this and want to learn to do as much of this kind of stuff as guitar will allow. Wish I had chosen keys all those years ago, but what can you do lol. Love your videos! Btw, Holger is a great player! He played with Chad Lefkowitz-Brown on the best performance of Countdown I’ve ever heard. It’s mesmerizing.

Sean, I was wondering if you could speak to the art and "Importance" of being able to play "any or all" of one's chords in the (sweet spot) middle of the keyboard, basically through constantly inverting chords as necessarry to stay within roughly a Two octave (sweet spot) range. Thanks for your Excellent teachings! (By the way, the way you can "instantly" mimic rich chords & progressions is just Insane to me! I've never seen anyone do that before on that level. lol)

Not gon lie, at the first listen, bruh on the organ is just spittin theory or whatever… however 4:08 ,gtr player here…the way you utilize his motifs gives it feeling & context & makes it make sense to me.
