agreed, I've gotten to fight with F-4E against F8e with a duelist friend and once I managed to turn inside it I basically one hit killed him and the f8 is notorious for shrugging nr30s off

@@janomomo153 He's done several guides on prop fighting... and there is certainly more to it than "highest wins." I also don't think jet combat is really that straightforward.. but I fly a lot of different shit all the time.

Bad for both. The game is completely unbalanced, and can't be with the current way gaijin make BR and mix match airplane with different doctrines. And it's not realistic either. Just go on the forum to see people complaining. Best example is realshitter: It's not realistic in the slightest, and it make the game less balanced and fun.

I mean they could balance it better by having battle rating brackets be more decompressed because some premium make 21s can get it down to your when they have SARH missiles an carry counter measures

@@chaosinsurgency6636They totally could. I've seen hundreds of well documented suggestions on the forum with reason, explanation, arguments, examples, alternative, pros and cons. We could write a book with all the valid suggestions people gave to gaijin. But they don't care. It's as simple as that, they could but won't. Because the current model of: New top tier flavor of the month aircraft works and increase the playerbase they'll keep doing it until they reach the F35 or the game dies.

@@briannormant3622 They don't care because there is no incentive from the player base for them to actually try on their own. They even have gone so far as to give control of BRs to the player base some ~4 years ago via the BR suggestions thread because the player base kept asking for conflicting things so Gaijin literally said "fine, you do it" and... well, the player base has been a lot worse at it than Gaijin was. Why? Player base in general votes by least common denominator rather than by using any actual logical sense. This is what caused the G-56 and the F7Fs to shoot up in BR while the Wyvern was dropped so low in BR that it actually is the dominant fighter sub 3km in its entire BR bracket with only the F8F-1 being able to actually do anything about it now that the F8F is at 5.0. Granted compression is entirely on Gaijin but the BRs themselves is entirely on the player base. If the player base bothered to put in a focused collaborative effort the A-10s and Su-25s could go to 11.3 minimum. Get them away from the 10.0s that shouldn't be seeing all aspect missiles. However so long as the majority of the player base can't so much as agree on something as basic as the color of an orange never mind if the notably under BRed P-39N is actually still under BRed or over BRed (because I have run into people in game that genuinely think that it is over BRed because it can't out turn a Ki-27 or I-153) then nothing will ever be solved BR wise. Too much of the player base still believes that BRs should be set by least common denominator, a la frequency of idiots willing to turn fight or full commit head on rather than aircraft capabilities, which means that things like the A6Ms, G.56, Re.2005, turn fighters in general and aircraft great in head ons like the J21s and J22s are going to be over BRed while aircraft that don't turn well, especially at slow speeds, like the P-39N, F4U-1s, Wyvern, et cetera drop in BR or stay too low in BR.

@@user-ee1fn4vt8b It actually is. It isn't good enough to be a proper solo carry plane but it has the speed and overall maneuverability to be a very strong low alt fighter. Basically it is a Wyvern on crack. It's major weakness is a lack of ammo. Avoid taking it above 4km and leverage your high speed performance advantages over props and you are near untouchable. Add a teammate that communicates and cooperates and you are going to control games that don't get lost on tickets.

Strange you would say shvaks are bad right now, i was flying the I-225 and it felt great using the ground belt (HEF/FI-T/AP-I), of course that could be because of 4 nose guns.

i also play the yak-3 quite a lot lately and it does really poor damage compared to US and Germany 20mms all my kills are because my brezin set them on fire or pilot K.O

@@DEFYN No, but when the j29f is aced and has full g resistance, whenever you black out you turn just as well as not being blacked out. Plus it regularly gets 8.3 down tiers because of the amount of 105gs. And not to mention its disgustingly good turn rate, and a small profile, with tons of ammo to waste. It also climbs really well (without losing too much speed). And what I can pull from this is that it plays like an F5c, minus the speed.
